Cristo Roto Sanctuary

A unique place in the world, I love the explanation given by our guide. Broken Jesus is 92 feet high and it was made by a local artist based on a broken Jesus that a priest bought in Sevilla, Spain.
The priest was gonna have it restored but at night Jesus in a revelation asked him to leave him the way it was.
With a broken arm for those who don't have a job...
With a broken leg for those who are sick, Ill, enprisoned and without hope...
And without a face because he was suffering when he saw all the pain on this world...

I'm not religious at all but this was a place I wanted to visit as soon as I found out about it - a truly amazing place - the amputee Jesus is stunning

Amazing place, very unique. Only accessible through short boat ride, provided by the local guides

Went while the feria de San Marcos and it was great. More adult oriented at the time, but still good for the kids if you go while it's calmer. Of course with the statue of Jesus Christ, it is well worth visiting.
