꽁바웅 왕조의 수도였지만 19세기초 다른 곳으로 천도한 이후 폐허가 된 곳. 예전 영화를 상상 할 수는 있다. 10여년전에는 탑위 전망대에 올라가 볼 수 있었는데 수년전 지진으로 훼손된 이후 막아놨다.
