The best and cheapest place for a backpacker. Super friendly host, Michael. Scooter rental service. Loved my stay there as the only foreigner in town. Michael will do everything to make you feel comfortable. One of the nicest places I stayed in, in Myanmar. It's time for tourists to come back to Myanmar. Very safe if you stay away from troubled areas.

For the price, it is very worth it. We stayed for 5 nights for under 100 usd in a room with 3 beds and air-conditioned.

FREE transportation from and to the beach.

The place offers fresh food straight from the market.

Ngwe Saung Beach- 10-12 mins walk.

- Owner, Michael, and the whole family were very accommodating and friendly. Speaks good English so communication was easy
- Arrived at 4am in the morning and the grandfather brought us blankets so we could sleep near the reception (on the floor and small sofa).
- Breakfast was good, stayed 3 days and everyday was different. Breakfast varies from different noodles and even a pancake, also comes with juice and coffee/tea
- Distance was not too far from the beach, maybe 8 mins by foot.
- Rooms were alright, was cool enough with just a fan (visited in end December and stayed in a deluxe room)
- They also have a restaurant, and food was very fresh and good as they don't store anything in their fridge. They go to the market to buy after you order :)
- Overall had a good experience as the family was nice and helpful

**Only negative is that the guest house does not have hot water and the toilet facilities aren't very good. But giving 5 stars due to its value and overall experience.

Charming place to stay, lovely people and clean room with private bathroom.

Only 2 small things they can improve on :
Not really organized in the kitchen. We can wait for our meal for an hour.
The bicycles are rusty and not worth the 3000 kiats. Bikes are nice thought

Amazing place and staff!

One of the best hotels in the country!

My gf and I enjoyed so much staying there. The bus dropped us in front of the place, the staff ran towards us and welcomed us with lemonade 🍋 💦

They took our bags 🛍 and brought them to our clean and comfy room with private bathroom 🚽

The price was super good on Agoda compared to what you get.

The staff and owners were soooo nice to us!

The Family who owns the Guetshouse are so nice, friendly just lovely! The Breakfast and Food is great, never eaten so good and healthy while travelling. Free water is provided. They just installed realy good wifi.
The rooms are without aircondition and open in the bathroom so it can be that you have some mosquitos and spiders in your room, but it dosen’t matter because you ve got a mosquitonet over your bed.
Its an perfect price service ratio.

Great friendly owners and staff. Breakfast is great and different everyday . The accommodation is basic but overall considering how much you pay it's a great place to stay while you are in Ngwe Saung.

Because there is not hot water i was going to give 4 stars, but the staff is friendly and the food is soo good (and local prices) so i decided to give the additional star, hoping that for the future they will put a solar panel for heating the water. Thank you Michael, wife and all the staff ( i forgot my oranges in the table this morning :-( ).

Great location only a short walk from the beach/restaurants, clean, and friendly staff! I suggest bringing ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper who goes to bed early or sleeps in since this hotel is right on the main road.

What else do you need at a beach holiday place?

I booked 3 nights and I stayed 7 :) it was a great time, the owners and stuff always very helpful, kind and friendly, well located, clean, every room has windows, fresh shower, the restaurant has good quality and tasty plus good prices, breakfast included is different every day, comfortable common areas, they have bike & bicycle for rent, tours and more, just ask! it's quiet perfect to rest and read, my visit at Dream Guesthouse couldn't be better.

Dream house is very good now, they got WiFi, 24 hours electricity, discount for room, food, drink, laundry, bicycle and motorcycle and many free offers this year.

Phong and I were here for 8 days.Great owner,Great food and lively staff.Everyone is so friendly. I will be back.No complaints at all.5 stars all around.
