A great family run business. Perfect place to start your morning in Dawei with a touch of local atmosphere. A wide variety of dishes available all day and tea is their speciality. Reasonable price with great service. Highly recommended.

Lovely place mainly very cool and friendly owners perfect place for breakfast lunch dinner and tea. Frequented by locals and one the best hangout places in Dawei. One of the owner is also a keen cyclist and hires out bicycles and also himself goes on early morning cycling trips around Dawei and he is happy if people want to join him for a bike ride. The hotel staff are very friendly . I loved every one of them. The Nan pethaw is amazing the soups are amazing. The the tea is served hot , just the way I like it. A must visit place to experience Dawei people . 😁

Whenever I hear of the sound Tha Har Ya, I do remember of the cafe which is the one situated downtown area in Dawei. You know that what is the real meaning of Tha Ha Ya or Ta Ha Ra in English. It means friendship. The Cafe Tha Ha Ya is great represent of it's meaning. It is the place where local friends meet at least two times a day. Using as a meeting point for business. Cheer.

About Dawei
City in Myanmar

Dawei is a city in south-eastern Myanmar and is the capital of the Tanintharyi Region, formerly known as the Tenasserim Division, on the northern bank of the Dawei River. The city is about 614.3 km southeast of Yangon. Its population is 146,964. Dawei is a port at the head of the Dawei River estuary, 30 km. from the Andaman Sea. As a result, the city is prone to flooding during the monsoon season. "Dawei" is also the name of one of Myanmar's 137 ethnic minorities. source
