Bamboo Forest Restaurant @ Homestay

This whole town is more expensive than usual but this restaurant is on par for the whole town. Great food, beautifully presented. Friendly staff. Coconuts available. Toilets 9 out of 10. Really great place to stop and have a break and look out over the river.

Indein is not to be missed, and this lovely restaurant lives up to its name. We had lunch on two separate days, and especially enjoyed the salads - as well as the personal welcome of the owners and their staff. The prices are relatively high, but worth the experience.

Relaxing and lovely place for lunch. Fruit juice is fresh. Try the avocado juice. And also the Shan crackers. We had the vegetable tempura. I know I know, it's not Burmese food. Still it is tasty. Don't be afraid to ask for something that is not on the menu. They are happy to accommodate. The place also has a toilet! Enjoy.

We listen to the great reviews about this restaurant and we can assure they were all correct and well based - typical Myanmar food but with a modern touch! Don’t miss a meal at this place if you come all the way over here!

Restaurante excelente, situado al borde del canal, cerca de una cascada. nos regaló con comida muy sabrosa. el dueño, muy simpatico, habla español muy bien y tambien puede guiarle por varios paseos. en el lugar hay un albergue. Recomiendo parar en este lugar para el almuerzo durante la visita al templo.

Estuve aquí en mi última parada en el viaje. Después de varios intentos de comer comida birmana y no gustarme, llegamos a este sitio y nos gustó todoo. Desde el lugar, junto al lago, como el servicio y la comida buenísima. Lo recomiendo cuando visitéis Indein. Este es el más bonito.
