It was a great evening. Beautiful quiet place. Amazing staff. Very good food. Raclette, the carnivore platters, and the salads.... are so gooood i love it. It's cozy to have Dinner. It is a very quiet Restaurant. Thank you so much.

Wow! Washed rind, aged goat cheese. The owner buys the the young cheese and ages it here, and it’s worthy of five stars

One of the best restaurants in Antsirabe. The cheese dishes are incredible, made with local cheeses, and the menu is large and varied. There are also two small shops where you can buy meats and cheeses and souvenirs.

Amazing French restaurant (local cheese) and Thai food. Well decorated and the best food we had on our trip so far for a no-braining price (€4-€5 for a main course)

Really liked this place. It was cozy, the people were very friendly and what can you say about Sam ? Mine host was always friendly unless France got beat at rugby !
Make L’insolite your first stop off for great food and a drink when in Antsirabe you won’t be disappointed.

Best food in Antsirabe! Biggest variety with lots of international influences (each well done) though with an emphasis on local ingredients. Seriously awesome menu! They also have draft beers (only place I've seen in Madagascar with beers on draft) and they're definitely superior to the bottled ones. The owner is very friendly and loves to chat with people hanging out at the bar. Really, if you're in Madagascar and you want good food, you can't beat L'insolite!

The best pub/resto in Antsirabe, and by far I should say. The owner, Sam, is such a cool and friendly guy, and is very chatty. You would not regret your time spent there. Also it's the place to be if you want to watch any football matches. Price is also very affordable, and food is great! I highly recommend this place for anyone who's going through Antsirabe.

you would think a place that serves pho bo, zebu steak with foie gras, butter chicken and fajitas on the same menu would completely miss the mark on each of those, especially in this random corner of madagascar. not so! the food here is amazing and the ingredients are noticeably fresh (real greens in the salads!!). it doesn't take forever to get your food either, so you can continue ordering more stuff once you realize how delicious everything is. the cheese plate is a must - the owner has collected delicious cheeses (and wine) from all over Madagascar. If you find yourself in Antsirabe you have to go here for lunch or dinner (or both!).

Bon restaurant d’Antsirabe , original par ses spécialités au fromage comme la raclette et la fondue, viande séchée, et une belle carte classique, le fromage est fabriqué par le propriétaire du restaurant. A conseiller vivement. Le fromage et d’autres produits sont en vente dans l’enceinte du restaurant.

Quel plaisir de faire une escale gastronomique chez Sam...
Cuisine excellente, raffinée et copieuse...jolie carte des vins..
Possibilité de déguster au restaurant dans les préparations,les produits fabriqués par Sam (fromages , charcuterie)...

Si vous passez à Antsirabe c'est un lieu à visiter absolument. Très bonne cuisine, le personnel est sympa et le lieu aussi.

Bon restaurant avec spécialités fromagères puisque le patron est maître fromagé. Carte fournie clientèle vazaha et bonne société Malgache. A côté de LA vraie discothèque d antsirabé mais ou les clients n arrivent qu 23h30 Minuit...
