Hotel Violette

We only stopped for good but it was good enough to mean on the return journey we stopped again (Zebu-steak frites both times).

The Wifi was only working on our first stop; it was a good connection. If you're driving from Tana to Fianarantsoa it's a good place to split the drive (~midway).

Bungalow confortable. Serviettes géantes et douche chaude. Restaurant correct.

I was satisfied with the food. Good portions and a nice selection of options. Sit outside in the back and enjoy some really fantastic views of rice fields and the city. There are two entertaining parrots to keep you company out back.

Ate lunch here twice, traveling from Tana to Ranomafana and back. Very good food both times. Very friendly staff who speak several languages. Had live music entertainment the second time. Recommend.

Sono stata 2 notti al Violette. Personalmente ho dormito nel sacco lenzuolo perche' l'odore di lenzuola e cuscino per me era veramente insopportabile. Il bungalow e' carino, con una tv che però prende poco, il bagno con doccia che innaffia l'intero bagno come spesso accade in Madagascar.
Unico elemento da salvare e' il ristorante gestito dal Violette dove la colazione e' tra le migliori che ho provato nel mio vaggio con una Pain au chocolate imbattibile.
Consiglio sulle camere: credo che vada assolutamente chiesto bungalow e non le stanze sopra il ristorante

Sind bei unserer Durchreise hier zum Mittagessen angehalten. Wir hatten ca. eine Stunde zum bestellen unseres Menüs abgerufen. Die Tafel war unsauber gedeckt. (Flecken am Tischtuch) und die zebuspiesse wurden kalt serviert, die aber dann bei nachfragen wieder aufgewärmt wurden. Während unseres Besuchs spielte sogar eine Liveband.

Ok per un pranzo veloce lungo la strada. I ragazzi parlano anche un po di italiano
