Black Star Hotel

Stayed at this place for three nights, attending a training workshop in the area. It has the basic amenities but this is more a "motel" than a hotel. No hot water available. Just some lukewarm water at low pressure and you have to be patient. Internet access is tricky and Wifi not available in all rooms even for the higher rated ones. No restaurant available on site even for breakfast. Just some basic street food in the immediate surroundings. Can't guarantee about food safety at these places... Price just reasonable for a "motel" of this grade. If your room has a European toilet, then it would cost MGA 45,000 (about USD 12.50) per night ... It may be wiser that you visit the room before you take it and don't forget your mosquito repellent. They have bed mosquito nets but mosquitos still busy around even during winter!

Pas eau chaude

Les chambres pourraient être acceptable , malheureusement , pas d'eau chaude même à certaines heures plus d'eau froide , pas de wifi, pas de connections internet, il faut demander le nettoyage sinon pas fait, toilette ne fonctionne plus car ils ont retiré le mécanisme. Beaucoup de moustiques. ( Lémuriens très bruyants enfermés à 10 dans très petite cage en détention illégale )
