Ny Tanana Hotel Ranomafana

Nice clean room. Hotel surroundings magnificent. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was also above average.

Hotel bastante nuevo totalmente recomendable, el mejor en relación calidad precio de la zona. Habitaciones muy cómodas y bien equipadas, ducha con buena presión y agua caliente, restaurante exquisito y con amplia gama de oferta culinaria, exteriores preciosos con vistas a la montaña, jardines muy bien cuidados y piscina, la atención del personal impecable... todo en su conjunto, inmejorable!

Ressourcez-vous ici tout simplement 😍🥰 Un merveilleux endroit au coeur de la nature pour respirer, méditer au coeur de la nature. On se sentirait presque au pied des montagnes comme vous le verrez sur mes photos. J'y suis passée pour effectuer un team building professionnel pendant une semaine. Le service de restauration était impeccable, le personnel est très serviable et gentil🙏

On conseille cet hôtel. Très bon accueil. Très serviable et souriant. Très bon cuisinier. Les chambres sont très agréables et très calme. L hôtel est récent. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour.

Un endroit calme dans la nature à 2km de la ville de Ranomafana avec un personnel accueillant et une très bonne restauration. L'arboretum de Ranomafanase trouve juste à 250m de l'hôtel.

Die Zimmer hier sind wie fast überall auf Madagaskar ohne Klimaanlage.
Nicht so schlimm, wenn man denn wenigstens einen Lüfter hätte, oder die Fenster aufmachen könnte ohne von den einheimischen Insekten vertilgt zu werden.
Es gibt nämlich nicht mal eine Gage vor den Fenstern.😔
Sehr spartanisch eingerichtet, und das Bad hat so gut wie keine Ablage Möglichkeit.
Dafür ist das Essen hier ein Traum.
Und die Bedienung sehr freundlich.
Na gut, für zwei Tage geht das schon mal.

Je recommande, un petit coin de paradis

We stayed at the hotel for 2 days in October 2023. We expected somewhat more of the hotel, especially seeing the Google review average (4.5 stars).

The hotel has the potential to become a nice place to stay but it seems not finished yet. They are working throughout the hotel, paving and making beds to chill at the swimming pool. The food was not good. The staff is very friendly though and the location is good to visit the national park. The rooms and overall atmosphere really need an upgrade to become a 4 star hotel. For now, we give it 3 stars.

Some positive and negative points below.

Positive:
- location is good to visit the Ramofana NP.
- staff was friendly and willing to help out fast whenever something occured (warm water didn't work in 1 room).
- pool table available.
- beds are comfortable.

Negative:
- the atmosphere was not very warm. Restaurant and reception is in the same room.
- the rooms seem somewhat outdated. Electricity was on and off all the time, no wifi in the rooms which they do advertise with.
- the food was not good. Lunch sandwiches came with tons of mayo (enough for a year of mayo) and the pizza for dinner was really bad.
- our guide and driver did not get a local discount for breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel so they had to drive into town each time to get food.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The rainforest surrounding us was beautiful. The room, however, was frustrating. The bed was small, there is no air conditioning and no fan. At least there was a screen door. The problem though is we were above the restaurant so it was very noisy. Speaking of doors, there is no door to the bathroom. The bed was very hard, hardest of our 15 day stay in Madagascar.

An ok place to stay for two nights and visit the nearby national park. Friendly staff but uncomfortable bungalows which heat up quickly and don’t cool down at night.
