Chez Maggie's is an incredible place to stay, eat, and relax in Morondava. We stayed twice, and the experience was consistently amazing.

Bungalows are great. Good electricity and hot water availability. Beds are comfortable and with nets.

Pool is very well maintained, and no need to worry about Portuguese Man o' Wars. Small beach weightlifting area, too. :-)

The real star is the restaurant, though. Seafood romazava, soupe chinoise, grilled chicken, French fries, omelette, shrimp in sauce coco with rice were all superb. Keep the rum drinks and fresh juice coming all day. And service was fast and friendly. I want to take this place home with me.

Best place to stay in Morondava. Spacious rooms with most of them AC. Fantastic service with staff who go out of their way to make you feel at home. Great location straight at the beach and a ice cold beer at hand. You do not need more! They can also arrange multi day excursions for you via remote river expeditions to tsinghy national park. We traveled through Madagascar for 23 days. In the middle of our trip we were lucky to spend two nights here. It was amazing. Hotel staff was super friendly, quick and communicative. Kitchen = great and delicious!

The best place to stay in Morondava!

We had the perfect stay at Chez Maggie. It has a beautiful, peaceful garden with a lovely swimming pool and it's right next to the beach. Super clean and comfortable bungalows, with such friendly and helpful staff. There is a tour agency there too, so it's easy to sort out your holiday plans. The restaurant has delicious food and it's just a beautiful place to stay, I can't recommend it enough. Chez Maggie made our trip to Morondava really special!

Great location, wifi, and electricity (except middle of the night) on the beach with a pool. Stayed in 3 places in Morondava and this was cheaper or the same as the others but much much better quality. Highly recommend! Their prices for the Tsingy or Tulear trips are about the same the local drivers and their 4x4s look way more maintained. I didn't go with them but wish I had lol (breakdowns)

Great place to stay in Morondava. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean. The food at the restaurant was great. The staff were really nice. The location on the beach is perfect. We stayed here two nights and really enjoyed our stay.

Love this place! Everything on point and the beautiful garden with epic vegetation gives such a vibe and shade and you walk right onto the beach for sunset views. Holiday vibes garanteed! Very good food too

Very comfortable duplex room equipped with air con. An original setup. Clean and operational bathroom. Staff helpful.

Only stayed here one night, everything was perfect.

Verscholen in de stad zit deze mooie plek met bungalows van goede kwaliteit. De kamer had alles wat je maar nodig hebt, inclusief goed warm water. En was ook erg schoon. Het eten was goed en het ontbijt uitgebreid. Ook de Wifi was behoorlijk snel. Dit alles voor een hele nette prijs.
Al met al dus zeker een aanrader!

Accès direct à la plage. Les bungalows sont divers, en bois ou en dur, confortables. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits. Le jardin et le bassin d'eau donnent une impression de calme. La piscine est chaude et assez grande. Bon endroit pour se détendre après la longue route depuis Antsirabe.

Wunderschöne Hotelanlage in verwunschenem Garten mit herrlichem Pool und direktem Strandzugang. Herrlichster, sauberer und menschenleerer Strand, beste Wasserqualität, schöne Wellen in indischem Ozean.
Bestimmte Bungalows sind zu meiden (7/8) da sie zu nah an der Strasse (Barmusik), bzw. dem Stromgenerator liegen und einen vom Schlafen abhalten. (Vor allem am Nationalfeiertag!!!)
Die in der Mitte der Anlage liegenden Rundhütten sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wunderschön eingerichtet, 2 Ebenen, geräumiges Bad, Klima und Moskitonetz, warmes Wasser, sehr gemütlich.
Alles ist sehr sauber, Ende Juli 22 wurde gerade WLan auf die gesamte Anlage und die Hütten verlegt.
Der Service ist hervorragend, das Personal besonders freundlich und hilfsbereit. Probleme werden versucht, sofort zu beheben.
Gutes Restaurant, zu gewissen Zeiten voll.
Tourguide vorhanden, Touren in den Kirindypark, in die Mangroven und zu den Baobabs werden selbstverständlich organisiert.
Wir waren eine Woche da und haben uns nie gelangweilt.
Bester Transport mit dem Flieger, sonst ..ca. 17 Stunden Busfahrt!!!
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und empfehlen dieses Hotel immer wieder.

Wir wählten diese Anlage wegen ihres wunderschönen vielfältigen Gartens. Aber auch die Bungalows sind gepflegt und hübsch: weiß gestrichen, innen Holz und die allgemeinen Räume sind mit blauen Accessoires dekoriert.
Das Hotel wird wohl gut geführt, die Athmosphäre unter den Angestellten war ausgezeichnet.
Das Restaurant bietet sehr sehr gutes Essen, das Service ist sehr freundlich.
Die Anlage hat auch einen netten Pool, der von schönen Bäumen gesäumt ist.
WIFI funktionierte in der riesigen und gemütlichen Rezeption ausgezeichnet, im Zimmer nicht. Unser Bungalow (mittleres Preissegment) war großzügig und hatte einen Ventilator. Einziges kleines Minus: die sanitären Installationen könnten ein Update erfahren (aber das war auch das Einzige, was wir verbesserungsfähig empfanden)

Nous étions un groupe de 12 petrsonnes (6 couples) en juillet 2022. Très bonne adresse, bungalows bien situés et très propres, bon rapport qualité /Prix, (hotel et restauration très bien) avec un personnel très présents et tout est fait pour vous rendre votre séjour agréable.(Ce qui était aussi très bien le fait d'avoir leur groupe électrogène et une réserve d'eau) car quand nous sommes arrivés, pas d'eau ni d'électricité depuis 2 jours à Moranadava, mais chez Maggie oui!! je recommande Alain Marboeuf Nantes.

Μείναμε για δύο βραδιές, τα δωμάτια ήταν καθαρά, το προσωπικό ευγενικό και πρόθυμο να μας εξυπηρετήσει. Το εστιατόριο διαθέτει πλούσιο μενού, αλλά προτιμήστε τα θαλασσινά είναι ολόφρεσκα και ξέρουν να τα φτιάχνουν τέλεια. Με το βοδινό δεν έμεινα ευχαριστημένος.

Nous y sommes passé juillet 2018, très bon accueil, le restaurant, bien, le bungalow très spacieux, l'option clim en juillet aout est inutile de la payer, la température est très agréable en cette saison.

Nous sommes venus en 2019 pour le réveillon et la piscine est géniale donc je mets 5 étoiles 😊
