My son and I set base at Dar Ouarawt for 3 nights in order to climb the Toubkal and enjoy the quiet and genuine berber village of Armed (Aroumd in some maps).
Dar Ouarawt, run by Mr. Rashid and his family, is a beautiful berber house with original and traditional decoration and nice views to the valley of the Armed River with its whole chestnut tree woods and to the Atlas Mountains, including the Toubkal peak!
At Dar Ouarawt you can enjoy the silence of the valley, traditional food and time on your own to read or simply rest or plan your next adventure.
Mr. Rashid is an English-speaking mountain guide himself, which you now need to enter de Toubkal National Park, but he can provide you with plenty of advice suggest hiking routes or organize your outdoor activities.

Dar Ouarawt is one good location for the people that they like to do hike to highest peak Mt.Toubkal . And the manager of this hotel his name Rashid . His very friendly. Also his mum more hospitality and making a delicious food . So highly recommended. Thanks Rashid for the Excellent service

We stayed at dar ouarawt with a group from England of 12 people after our great guide rachid to toubkal trek this was a really good point to relax after a long walk from top of toubkal the hotel have good location near to the main village and big suits luxury rooms with a Moroccan traditional decoration with baths that we need after our hike and large balcony and nice teracces to relax with amazing view the food was great staff good as well
We stay at Dar ouarawt first night before our trek to toubkal
I highly recommend to stay at this hotel

It's a very good derriction in The Atlas, it's about 30 minute walking from the Imlil center, and 15 minute by car, parking is free and mule is free too.

كرم الضيافة و حسن الاستقبال هدوء المكان ينسيك تعب العمل وضجيج المدينة
صاحب المحل والمرشد رشيد دو خبرة عالية و دراية كبيرة بعدة مجالات ك HIKING و TREKKING
في ما يخص الاكل اكل محلي ( بلدي ) جد رائع مكان يستحق الزيارة
