Amazing location in the middle of the oasis overlooking the valley. super friendly owners and a surprisingly good breakfast with many savory options like omelette and cream cheese and really nice fresh juice on a beautiful terrace. Dinner was also really good and huge!

Stopped to have a coffee and was given a view of a lifetime and generosity that only royalty could deserve. The coffee and the accompanying treats were delicious. If we were not pressed for time on our journey we would have spent the rest of the afternoon in this hidden jem between Errachidia and Midelt. What a blessing!

Wonderful place to stay in traditional Moroccan style. Clean rooms and homemade food. The family who runs the house is very kind and thoughtful. The man who owns the home even took us on a hike up one of the local mountains.

I have no words, this is a life time experience! The owners are simply amazing people, they were really helpful. This is a MUST if you are traveling from Fez to Errachidia. They helped us with many useful turistic information and the rooms are super clean. They also serve breakfast.

We went to this place to drink a tea with a nice view and to have dinner. The place was well beyond our expectations: the scenario was enchanting and we had the best tajine of our vacation in Morocco. Don't miss this spot if you travel on this way.

Lovely family and very welcoming. We turned up here in hope for some accommodation, we had a fantastic stay. Safe covered parking for motorbikes, dinner and breakfast available, fantastic views and a very relaxing atmosphere. A place to unwind for a few days for sure.

Extremely lovely spot to spend the night in and enjoy breakfast at. the hosts were very friendly and offered us a free light dinner of soup, bread, cake, nuts and tea. Our breakfast was only 3euro and full of variety. No pressure to check out or book anything with them. Here’s a few photos of our stay… it’s breathtaking to say the least!

Good experience, calm place and connecting with nature!

Ismael and his family are awesome. We had a great time. The place is super beautiful. It’s on the edge of a river oasis. Across from an ancient Medina. I recommend staying at this location if you’re on your way to Merzouga. What a great deal. 👍🏽like this review please.

Very comfortable and a very good family that welcomes you and the surroundings are very green and a lot of vegetation. With the mountains of red color. And the food is impeccable.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Chose to stop here on our way to the desert of erg chebbi. Very nice little guest house, the owner was very nice, even when we showed up in the early hours of the morning to wake him lol. Real value for money, we paid £40 thru booking dot com for a room with 2 double beds. Basic but clean rooms, breakfast was a very nice spread for the bargain price of 3 euro per person. The panorama from the guest house was stunning aswell.

Ismail place is really wonderful. It is located at the heart of the "Gorges du Ziz". The view from its terrace is stunning. It is very quiet and is a good starting point to visit the oasis and the mountains. Ismaïl it very nice an knows a lot about agriculture and traditional life in the valley, do not hesitate to ask him. The house itself is built the traditional way with the rammed earth technique and is very charming and confortable although very simple.

Super stay with very friendly people! Sort of a home stay. We had good breakfast and a really tasty dinner. We decided to stay an other night here. Relaxing place.

If you want an experience of real berber Morocco, away from the fake tourist-ness - this is the place for you ! Ismail is a wonderful host, and he is running this hotel following a rule of ecology and local traditions. The place in itself is a dream with gorgeous views on the Ziz valley, river and oasis, of the kasbah ruins and the mountains. I sincerely cannot recommend this place enough - support local families and responsible economy, spend some nights at Ismails ! :)

We spent one night here. Ismail was available even though we arrived late at night. Clean. Hospitable. Breakfast was delicious.

We were lucky enough to discover Ismail's place on the way back from Merzouga where the noise of 4x4's and tourist buses disappointed our hopes for a peaceful experience of the desert. In retrospect, this disappointment was a great blessing as it brought us to a rare experience of travel: an exquisitely beautiful, mostly undisturbed place of beauty and spaciousness and an equally exquisite and beautiful person, Ismail. Come to Luna del Fuego and discover simplicity, sanity, and peace. Be prepared for the indescribably kind and sincere presence of Ismail and his brother They will share their village, knowledge of the environment, unseen kasbahs, new vistas, hikes, caves, and even a trip to his mother's to buy bread). Everything you give clearly feeds the local economy. If you can only stay one night, you'll still walk away with a heart changed by Ismail's smile and the mysteriousness of the Ziz Valley.

Beautiful village and stream near by, makes for a nice day excursion.
