Awesome Trip.
Spent one night at the camp next to the palm trees and the second one at erg chigaga.
The atmosphere at the first night was awesome with local music, which they really love to play.
The Trip to erg chigaga was awesome and the nature is amazing.
We payed 130€ per Person for the two days including one hour camel-ride, food, accomondation, the Jeep tour to erg chigaga.
Take at least 2 big bottles of water with you and enjoy your adventure :)

Cafe le petit prince have been so incredibly helpful and generous. The initial draw was the wifi, but I soon found the people are wonderful, the food is fabulous, the music is great and the atmosphere very peaceful. I've been on their lovely early morning, in the shade away from the midday sun and i the evening. Best spot in town!

Cafe Le Petit Prince is really a nice cafe to stop in for a good meal before getting deep into the désert. They offer so tasty food and the services are well organized. In the cafe there is an agency for organizing trips in the desert, they organized a great trip for us. It is really a nice cafe at the end of the village.

We got here very late at night and the owner of Le Petit Prince had waited for many hours for us to arrive, he was amazingly helpful and immediately got us a car to a place in the desert where we were staying the night. When we got there I expected a small hut or a tent, what we got instead was a beautiful campsite with a massive fire pit in the middle.
All around there were 5 one room houses, one larger than the others for a relaxing place to hangout. There was a bathroom with a hot shower and 2 toilets. Our rooms were very nice, they were sealed against the wind and sand, and the beds were very comfortable. When we woke up they had an amazing breakfast made for us already, with great tea. While we were there Abdul (The owner of Le petit prince cafe) arranged everything for us, he took us to the nomad music festival, camel riding, day trips to old Hamid, and whenever we stopped at the Le petit prince for a rest he had tea for us. Near the end of our trip we headed into the 'Big Sahara' to camp under the dunes, which turned out to be a beautiful campsite with huts that were warm with beds and blankets, showers and toilets, and dining room, and a beautiful campfire, nothing like the Canadian camping I was used to. At night looking up you could see millions of stars, so many more than I had ever seen in the city. At night they cooked us an amazing dinner, and had breakfast ready for after we had sand boarded for awhile. To end this, the food is amazing, the place is amazing, but the people of Mhamid and Le petit prince in particular is what made this trip unforgettable.

Cafe le petit prince, is a friendly cafe serving delicious local food in M'hamid. We met Abdoul here who had organised our trip to the desert and camp Sahara holidays. We spent two nights with them, one in each of their camps. Both were excellent, spotlessly clean, really lovely friendly staff, tasty food amazing live music round a camp fire at night, we're all still singing Mamma Africa. We were lucky to see the blood moon while we were there. Perfect. Mohammed who drove us to both camps was a safe driver and stopped for photos whenever we wanted to. He also enjoyed Turkish music!! ( We're from Turkey) So if you are looking for the most amazing experience ever then I can highly recommend these guys.

Wonderful place to discover the traditional Sahara kitchen. Perfect for some quality time with friends or family.
You can also book a trip to visit the local places in the region.

Awesome café with awesome people! They serve the best coffee in town, make great omlettes and are very helpful with everything. I would definitely like to go back sometime and can recommend to everyone :-)

Welcome to desert

Es war ein toller Aufenthalt, man erhält einen guten Einblick in das Leben der Berber.
Man wird im Cafe Petit Prince in Emfang genommen, man parkt das Auto in einem sicheren Privatgelände und man wird mit einem Jeep zum ca. 6 km entfernten Camp gefahren.
Die Berberfamilie ist sehr gastfreundlich und können auch gut englisch und sogar ein wenig deutsch.
Die Zimmer bestehen aus einem gemütlichem Bett, in dem man super schläft sowie ein Badezimmer mit Toilette und Dusche, also erwarten Sie kein Luxus!
Abends erhält man gegen Aufpreis ein sehr leckeres Abendessen, bestehend aus einer Suppe, Tagine und Obst als Nachtisch. Anschließend sitzen alle gemeinsam am Lagerfeuer und es gibt etwas Musik unter tollen Sternenhimmel.
Das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück war ausreichend und lecker!
Darüber hinaus werden Wüstentouren zum Erg Chegaga angeboten.
Alles in allem also ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt, den ich nie vergessen werde!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Resort und einen lustigen Ausflug in die Chigaga Wüste um im Sand zu boarden.
Ibrahim hat und sehr freundlich in Empfang genommen und hat uns auch im Camp selber dauerhaft unterhalten.
Am Abend gab es einen schönen Blick in die Sterne und Musik am Feuer, was das ganze zu einem unvergesslichen Ereignis für uns machte.
