Work up an appetite before you get there! Ditch your lunch! Avoid the bread that comes with the starters. It’s a lot of food! We asked about this and not everything goes to waste, some of it goes to the poor.
We had a dozen of starters on small plates. A whole chicken and some lamb with vegetables and couscous after. And finally the dessert. 700 MAD per person as per February 2024.
The service and atmosphere were excellent. The menu is set, no choice. No dairy free or gluten free options.
Even though I couldn’t enjoy all the dishes it was a great unreal experience.

Incredible meal and experience. Taken to rooftop for a drink prior to the meal with beautiful views of the city. Food was delicious and service even better. One of the most beautiful places in Marrakech too.

A night to remember! The evening begins with a visit to the rooftop for a view across Marrakesh, followed by pre- dinner drinks in a sumptuous room with a rose petal covered fountain and musicians, before you move on to your table for dinner. The menu is a pre-set 4 course affair. You begin with the Moroccan version of salad (about eight different plates of various vegetable tapas ). Next, we had a whole chicken split between the two of us, then lamb and couscous, before ending with dessert. Everything was delicious. (We don't even like lamb and we were pleasantly surprised.) Portions are incredibly large, I would say borderline ludacris for two people. We kept thinking the portions would easily feed a table of four, if not six. It's an incredibly unique experience in a beautiful setting. Just be ready for a preset menu with traditional Moroccan ingredients.

Dar Yacout is the kind of restaurant you wouldn’t reveal to no one as it’s a jewel you want to keep only for yourself. During the years I visited Marrakesh became more and more popular and never changed the greatest service, delicious (and abundant) food and unparalleled setting.
It’s THE “one thousand and one night” location for your dinner in Marrakesh.

Absolutely wonderfull experience. If you are doubting if this is the right place for dinner, don't doubt just go!! It is worth every dime and it was the best experience I have ever had. The most amazing service, atmosphere is beyond one's dreams and Moroccan food was fabulous! If anyone I know will go to Marrakech this is the place I would say is a must visit.

We just had a wonderful evening here. Amazing service, food, atmosphere. The desserts are our favorite. And yes it’s a lot of food, so come hungry.

It’s quite hidden but thankfully staff led us in, if you are looking for a unique dining experience for a relaxing evening, will recommend here.

Traditional Moroccan food in an amazing house. This place is absolutely fabulous. there’s no menu - its a fixed price multi course offering of traditional dishes. The cocktails and wine are all in the price, which we thought was very reasonable.

You arrive to a wonderful friendly welcome and are taken to a rooftop terrace for to see the view and take some photos. Cocktails are served in a comfortable bar/waiting area before you are taken to your table and presented with a lovely meal by super people.

A couple of top tips

1. Its a huge meal - for goodness sake don’t have a late or big lunch if you are there for dinner

2. Get a taxi. This place is tucked away in an otherwise pretty non-commercial area (or at least thats how it felt at night). If you walk you might really struggle to find it.

3. Book early. It is hugely popular, and quite rightly recommended in many of the “good places to eat” lists that we all google these days. It gets fully booked well in advance.

I very much enjoyed my visit to this beautiful riad. It was an unexpected pleasure, starting with the friendly welcome, the invitation to join others on the rooftop during sunset for a pre-dinner drink and then the great food that was served with skillfulness and taste. It was a rarely before experienced, understated and simply joyful evening where everything fit. The set menu made it easy to get into the flow as one did not have to make choices other than which wine to order (which I felt was a bit too much on the forefront of our server as he seemed a bit pushy about the wine, but I guess that's where they make their money at as I felt the wine was very expensive). The ambience on the rooftop, where a table was already waiting for us (we were 6) was underscored by local music and set a lovely tone for the rest of the evening. The dinner area with lots of candle light and the tables set around the pool created an elegant atmosphere, again underlined by a local band playing at a low level. Simply a wonderful evening and it will not be the last time we will bring guests here.

I’m a word, amazing! For dinner they offer a set menu, and it doesn’t disappoint. A drink on the roof terrace is followed by course after course of delicious food (trust me, have a light lunch!). The staff are amazing and the atmosphere is everything you love about Morocco. If you’re in town, don’t miss this.

An impeccable experience from every point of view. Starting with the staff, incredibly attentive to every need, always smiling and kind. The entertainment during the evening was discreet yet engaging and highly professional. And then, the food was simply marvelous: flavorful and meticulously prepared. The only downside is that the portions are truly abundant. I recommend arriving prepared with a strategy because the appetizers, though they might seem small, are actually quite numerous and delicious. You might find it challenging to tackle the subsequent dishes. Lastly, the dessert is truly a substantial affair. I suggest arriving without having eaten during the day! 🤣

Amazing traditional luxurious authentic Moroccan restaurant, the food is a set menu with chicken and meat and sweets and starters, a reservation is very highly required as they are always fully book. What a lovely experience.

Quite simply incredible! Simply stunning surroundings within an 17th century house with amazing gardens. The food was excellent, the service superb but what was best for me was the musicians! They transported me back in time and created an incredible atmosphere! It is possibly the best restaurant I’ve been to in the whole world, pricey for Morocco but my goodness you get what you pay for. Take the ones you love and they’ll have an experience they’ll never forget.

Ten stars all around for this dining experience fit for kings and queens. Unstoppable exquisite service, dish after dish of incredibly prepared tajines, full bar service, all served in the most gracious of environments. Not to be fully realized until you have dined here.
