AUBERGE RESTAURANT AFOUD

The staff were fantastic, super friendly, great English and very accommodating.

We also loved the food and view from the restaurant, it was really scenic and had a wood fire to keep us all warm!

Super warm atmosphère in this cute Auberge. The guys are really friendly and helpfull. The fire box in the main living was so perfect.

I throughly enjoyed my stay here. I stayed a few nights in December and returned at the beginning of the year at the end of January and in February when they received snow! The hospitality is great you feel like family here. The food is very good! Especially the dinners some of my favorite in Morocco!!!! I would definitely recommend having dinner or doing a lunch reservation if you are passing through. It is definitely worth it and everything is made to order which is why I recommend doing a reservation if you are passing through.

I did a guided tour as well on one of my trips with Nacer and it was very informative. He is a great guide and took his time with the group when we needed to slow down.

Definitely my go to when staying in Agoudal! It perfectly overlooks the whole village with great views of the mountains.

We had a wonderful stay at Auberge Afoud! It is a traditional house with a very welcoming atmosphere. Every area, from the rooms to the restaurant until the terrace is beautifully decorated and spreads a cozy vibe. Food is very delicious and you enjoy amazing views towards the stunning landscapes.
But the absolute best about this place are the people! Especially Hassan who took such great care of us from the beginning to end. He even made a fire in the wood burning stove in our room, as it was getting chilly outside.

Amazing experience. I found auberge Afoud by chance, but will certainly come back. The place is wonderful, the hosts incredibly friendly and passionate, the food is awesome, hot shower, comfy beds... It's perfect for people who like adventure traveling! Highly recommended.

Great place to rest !!

We were welcomed by Nacer and his brother after a long Bikepacking day.
We were supposed to stay just for lunch but we needed some rest and found this place calm enough for us to spend the night.

The dinner was perfectly cooked !!

We had great conversation with Nacer about bicycle, travels, cultures.

I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone.

The Host was friendly and speaks English. (Not common in Maroc)
The rooms are very nice and typical for the Atlas region.
If you go there during the winter one should be aware, that it might be cold at 2.500m above sea level :)

The Host showed us some stars and Planets through his telescope, just before we had a great dinner.

A big suggestion if you like it traditional and a bit comfy, e.g. if you feel more like a traveller than a tourist but still appreciate a hot shower :)

Very nice place in Agoudal (highest town of Morocco) Very cold when we visited but the owner served us dinner in a room with a heater. Food was great, room was clean and had a good shower. Also heater in some of the rooms. Car/bike-parking on site. Owner is a gentleman.

On the way from Dades to Todra valley we stopped for lunch here. We were welcomed with tea and got salad, tajine and fruit for lunch. Thanks for the nice lunch break!

Perfect for motorcycle travellers. Stopped in without a reservation (low season) and no problems getting a room for a great price. Bike secured, away from the bustle of town, dinner and breakfast provided and warm wood heated room. Perfect.

We were there on may 2017. We only stayed one night. The place is really quiet and beautiful, food was really good and the owner, Brahim, is a pretty good guy. I will stay in the same place on my next trip to Morocco for sure!

Brahim and his family are wonderful hosts. The place is well maintained and clean, rooms are very comfortable. The food (tajine with chicken) was delicious and breakfast was very good!

Simply the best. I didn’t book anything, but Nacer kindly took me in for the night despite having a full booking. Hassan quickly made the room pleasantly clean and tidy, and they made brochettes and soup for me. Ibrahim came in later to greet me and guided me on hot water. Everyone made sure I felt safe and warm. Wifi is also surprisingly good for a mountain lodge. It was such an amazing experience as compared to the rest of Morocco - i miss the place already!

Beautiful place, very friendly host! Is a little bit oustide of the usual tourist routes but deffinitely worth a visit if you have time! Would recommend anyone to visit Afoud's Restaurant/Auberge!

Great views , mountains and beautiful scenarys , a little hard to get to but the peacefulness and the welcome of this place are worth a lifetime stay , best sleep i had in soo long
