Auberge Ibrahim - Agoudal

We arrived in the dark and were searching for a hotel, so glad we came to this place. In the remote Atlas mountains, this hotel really exceeded our expectations. The room is very clean and looks like a cozy cave. the bathroom is well equipped (there’s a hairdryer). There are little touch-ups to make things easier, i.e. light switch near the bed, hanging rack, nice soft wool blanket, even though the overall aesthetic is natural and rough. The hot shower worked super. The following morning we sat in the colorful Moroccan style common room and enjoyed awesome breakfast. Best coffee we had in Morocco! Great value for the price.

Loved this place! Quaint, authentic, unpretentiously beautiful. The rooms are centered around a sunny courtyard with a bountiful (September) apple tree in front of every room. Just in time for the annual marraige festivals held in Agoudal and Imilchil.

Set in the remote Nomad village of Agoudal, Auberge Ibrahim has friendly hospitable forward thinking owners and staff. We enjoyed a complimentary breakfast like royalty. And that was after enjoying a most peaceful sleep in our room with thick kasbah earthen walls. The double bed was very comfortable and the en suite spacious bathroom had a lovely well designed tile shower with ample hot water and pressure … not something i would expect in a remote village in the high atlas mountains. loved the extra touches like large thick bath towels, shampoo and jasmin soap.

I personally liked that they also remodeled the kasbah to include romantic sconces on the bedroom wall, bed tables on both sides and switchs to operate the lighting while in bed. Tres romantique and energetically aligned. Merci, jai hate de revenir ✨This must have been the honeymoon suite!

Probably my most favorite place to stay in entire Morocco. This is a very small town in the Atlas mountains. It's no pretty touristy town, but real life Morocco with farmers working in their fields, donkeys, and children playing in the small streets. The Auberge is beautiful, the rooms very clean and fitted with nice bathrooms and everything you need. The common room is the best. Ali our host, served the most amazing meals and helped us with anything we needed. Such a friendly guy, who spoke fluent English.
Don't miss out on the ride to the caves outside Agoudal.

Agoudal is an amazing place to visit for the adventurous ones who would like to explore the Berber villages in the Atlas Mountains, and Auberge Ibrahim is the perfect place to rest comfortably, reenergize with delicious meals and mingle with the friendliest and happiness people in the village in a very relaxed environment. Expect amazing hospitality in the Atlas 🙂

Hitchhiking through the Atlas, these guys saved me in a snowstorm. I held up here for three days. They were amazing. Some of the best people I met in Morocco.

Great community, staff is friendly and has great tips on roads, routes, and conditions. Dinner was excellent. We will be back!

Un lugar perfecto para descansar.la cena y el desayuno buenísimos.
El personal es fantástico. Un acierto total, muy recomendable.
Atentos a los carteles, es fácil confundirse y meterte en otro.

Habitaciones muy limpias, la cena y el desayuno muy buenos. Nos ambientaron con música bereber y nos encantó. Recomendable para poder visitar el alto atlas
