We have stayed in Taghazout for one week in October and honestly this was our favourite restaurant. In terms of quality of food you get for the same amount of money compared to the other places, the taste, the service, the deco… this was the best one! Thank you! (Also we have preordered slow cooked lamb for the dinner a day before - highly recommend!)

I visited this place three times over the past 10 years and it was always very good food, service and the prices only a touch more than local kiosks. I have had a great fish. I would come back for sure!

The food was really delicious, the staff were very kind .The menu that the restaurant offers is kinda the European style so if you are looking for local food i advice you to look somewhere else .

Great place to eat! The chef is lovely. The bread is warm and fresh and everything served is delicious. Very affordable for the experience. I suggest taking the menu. You get to pick the entry, the main and the dessert.
Bon appétit!

Appetizer+choice of main food+dessert for 115 dirham.
Great vegetarian options. Had the eggplant parmesan and my bf had the lasagne. Both very good and very filling🙂 Definitely will go back and would recommend!

Really amazing place and delicious food .
I did really enjoy it.
Everything is fresh and made home.
Please make sure you get their early as by the time they run out of certain dishes. You don't want to be disappointed for not having what you want, so be their on time 😊.

Ps: The only way to pay your bill is cash no cards, so make sure you have it on you.
And no ATM around that area. The closest ATM is at Aourir.

It was our favourite meal when we visited in 2016, same in 2023

Really enjoyed the spicy calamari!
You need to book at the weekend (that morning/day before)

The same quality food as ever.. I have been coming here for many years when visiting taghazout and this is my fave restaurant. The warm freshly baked bread… calamari tagine .. and chocolate fondant are top quality still. Only 120 dirham for 3 courses is good value.. don’t eat too much lovely fresh bread though ..dipped in olive oil..

I’ve been to Taghazout a few times but always on my own and hadn’t tried Dar Josephine as it seemed like more of a couples place. Took my boyfriend this week for our last meal in Morocco and it was a great option. Service was fast, the food was really great and the atmosphere was cute and very different from other offerings in Taghazout. The cost of 120 MAD (€12) for 3 courses is super reasonable and the quality of the ingredients is high. We had lasagna and kefta tagine for main and both were great. Like many places in Taghazout/Morocco there’s no alcohol served.

Dar Josephine (Josephine's Restaurant) has many tasty homemade food and drink item on its menu. It's located on the main road in Taghazout village. The restaurant is a bit more expensive than many local restaurants, but still affordably priced.

It's open late and is a good place to go for a solid Wi-Fi connection.

Good food and prices. Enjoyed our dinner here.

Onion soup was below average if you are thinking of French onion soup. But the roasted chicken and calamari was great!

Came here for dinner based on a recommendation and we weren’t disappointed. It’s a higher end option in Taghazout and good value overall. They offer a 3 course dinner - appetiser, main, and desert - for around EUR 11.5 which is what we both ordered.

The food was good, the decor was nice, and it was busy. It’s a little fancier vs. Le Spot across the road but I’d say the food is similar and you pay a premium for the nicer ambience and decor.

A wonderful place! The food is delicious (we had lyonnaise salad, lasagna, and fondant), prices are very moderate (they had a promotion - salad+main+dessert for 120MAD), good service, cosy atmosphere

Will definitely come again!

I'm giving 5 stars based on one dish on one visit. Pastilla maison de poulet or as I called it, chicken pie. Scrumptious!
