Kekai Surf House

Kekai is a magical place! The atmosphere and sense of family is unmatched in Taghazout ❤ It is really clean, well equipped with everything you need and the views from the terrace are incredible! The perfect place for solo travellers and groups, you really won't want to leave. Thank you to the owners Adri and Mo and for everyone there who made it such a special place to be! I really hope to be back one day!!!

Kekai is family! Best hostel in Taghazout, the energy is amazing, the people there are so friendly, helpful, and kind. The terrace is beautiful and you have a view of the whole town and the sunrises and sunsets are insanely beautiful from there. The hostel is clean and the kitchen well-equipped. Everyone that goes there ends up extending their stay!

Kekai Surf House is the hostel with the best surfing vibe in Taghazout! It offers everything the traveling surfer needs and more. The volunteers working there are very nice and welcoming and make you feel at home right away. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean and the kitchen offers everything necessary for the stay. I liked a lot that the hostel was clearly designed with the needs of the surfer in mind. There's a dedicated space to clean and dry the wetsuit as well as to safely store the board. The view from the rooftop is amazing and allows to check the waves at all times...

The staff was amazing and so friendly (Katy, Indie, Cíntia, Dário) just no words to describe the nice vibes that they bring to the hostel.
The hostel was clean and the kitchen was really nice, the terrace has a breath taking view and is a nice social environment.

The manager Adri is the best, very comprehensive, fair and responsive, treating every situation with the right attitude and attention to the details. He's not the one that would mix you up with your dear friend. Thanks to him my experience at Kekai ended in the best ways possible, and rightfully so, good job you're the best bravo well done

Best surf hostel in Taghazout! And easily my most memorable and enjoyable stay at a hostel/home ever. Super clean house, lovely kitchen to cook in, the views from the terrace are amazing and you’ll struggle to leave! Thanks Adri, Mo and the hostel team for creating such a lovely space where guests keep coming back and spreading the good vibes to others.

this place is magic!! such a unique vibe and atmosphere. rooms are cosy and comfortable and facilities are always clean. the hostel itself is beautiful and genuinely feels like home. cannot recommend this place enough!!

Not just any surf hostel in Taghazout village! The owners, managers and volunteers are lovely, truly willing to share their knowledge about the place. They organise surf trips to all famous spots. I appreciated the chilled out vibe, the respect for each others sleep and morning coffee :) attention is given to details in the hostels decoration, and it’s super clean. Highly recommended !

I loved my stay at Kekai, I stayed for over a week and met amazing people! The hostel was clean, had an amazing view of Taghazout and a great communal area on the terrace where people hung out/ socialised! I’d definitely recommend!

Nice, beautiful and well organized hostel. Stayed there for a few days and felt like home. Comfortable beds, clean kitchen and the best rooftop terrace ever!

I recomend this hostel highly. It's such an awesome vibe, the staff is super friendly and helpful and always availibal. I will definetly return here some day.
The pictures speak for them self, the roof top is super cozy and if the waves are not good you can spend all day here and enjoy the amazing view.
If you're a surfer you'll be blessed to stay here.

One of the best hostel experiences i’ve ever had. Came for 3 days, ended up staying for over a month. The hostel has a good kitchen and a hangout area on top where everyone hangs out. The community vibe is really good and it doesn’t matter if you’re a die-hard surfer or just want to hang out and meet good people. The owners are also doing a great job and you won’t regret going here! Love to you guys!

Came for one week , ended up staying 3 months, this hostel is definitely a special place, where I got to meet amazing people that became Family. The vibe is crazy and the managers are amazing and very caring about their hosts.
Special mention to the coolest rooftop ever where all the magic happens!

I've been very comfortable! very good atmosphere among the guests, the staff also very friendly and respectful. Everything clean and tidy, incredible views of the sea from the rooftop, 5 minutes from the sea (not far at all). The owners are always there, they are very nice, they help you in everything you need, such as: restaurants, places to visit, surf spots, etc. Everything organized for surfing, they have the possibility of surf guiding, surfboards for rent, etc. A small family is formed if you stay several days, it's crazy. I recommend it and will be back soon for sure. Thank you so much for everything. AL SURFING!!

Beside having the best rooftop in town with an incredible view on the ocean, Kekai is a special place with a really good atmosphere. The hostel is very clean and well maintained by a great team that will make you feel like home.

Great atmosphere. Very well located on the heights of Taghazout, 5 min walk from the center and the beach.
Special mention for the rooftop, the incredible view and the movie projections at night.
Claudia, one of the volunteers during my stay, also did a great job keeping the hostel very clean.
The owners Mouad and Adri are always there to give you great tips and take you surfing!
If you want good vibes and a good surf guide, this is the place to be.

One of the best hostels I've stayed in, clean, comfortable, and has great views of the surrounding area. Highly recommend if you are staying in Taghazout. Everyone from the staff to the guests are very welcoming. The kitchen has everything you need to make a delicious meal and looks out over the bay, perfect.

This hostel has such a cool vibe. I stayed at a few hostels in the area and it did not compare to this one. The owners are genuine passionate surfers and they also cater for people who aren't surfers, with film nights and sometimes people gathering to cook together. The view from both the terrace and kitchen window is insane. Thinking about it right now wants to make me fly back. You can see if the waves are good that day. So no need to walk and check surf out 😂

I can describe this hostel in 1 word: magical! The hosts are very warm and welcoming and involve their guests in different activities. As a solo traveler, at no time did I feel alone. The rooftop with sea view and with the best view to enjoy the beautiful sunsets complete the picture!

I spent a total of 3 weeks at Kekai and loved it! It’s in a perfect location for all the local surf spots and Adri and Mouad are always happy to give advice on where’s best to surf!
