Kasbah Itran

Key points of this hotel are: the breathtaking view, the genuine kindness of the entire staff and nice unusual cosy bedrooms.
Ask for a bedroom with direct view on the old Kasbah.
I would suggest even to raise the price of 100 mad but on the other hand to increase the quality of the breakfast ingredients, with only genuine local products (genuine honey, better marmelade, better pastries and capsules coffee). That would be great.

I strongly suggest this location anyway.

After my husband and I did all the route from Marakesh to Merzouga and back, Itran kasbah is the most memorable and pleasant stay we had on our trip. We both have agreed: the best view (towards river and old abandoned kasbahs), the best people and services, the best walking location via villages, the best terrace to relax, the calmest place to sleep, the most cozy room and private terrace and finally the best stars at night. Somehow, even Merzouga did not have so many and so bright stars. All the valley was full of rose smells, but of course, our visit was in mid-May. People we met during our 3 hour walk were so friendly, the river was clean, not a single trash piece, just vegetable gardens, fig trees, and rose bushes. One other piece of advice: eat inside Itran kasbah. The food is really tasty and generous, and the evening views are even more beautiful. Just do not be arrogant. See the original beauty of the traditional clay home and respect local culture. Be open, listen to the stories of people, and enjoy your mint tea on the top of the Itran castle.

I only had a drink here. The view from the terrace here is one of the finest in all of Morocco. Don't miss it. But I have no idea about their food.
The also have rooms but they did not look so promising.

People here are awesome friendly an very very very kind, perfect service... and the place is amazing u will have​ a nice huge view to the​ whole valley from the rooms and from the tents where you have your meals. this is even bette than places i have stayed before in Marrakech or wherever else. the car access is easy next to the door an the parking is so safe. the food is delicious and big variant breakfast too. i recommend for all kind of guests!!!!

One of the best and beautiful places I've spent a night as far as a hotel. And I've stayed at resorts in Scottsdale, Arizona, U.S.! Wonderful, friendly staff, delicious food and beautiful views.

Superb location with panoramic view. The room are large and comfortable, good internet and splendid breakfast.

Panoramic views to die for. Berber decor, traditional Morocco at its best. Friendly staff. Relax on sunny private terraces overlooking the views or take a hike through the oasis-like riverbank garden with its wild roses and ruined Kasbah just below. Peaceful yet the busy town is 8 minutes down the hill.

Very good service but vegetarians and non French speakers beware: little English is spoken and the only veg dish is really salad, bean soup and veg tangible omlette which gets rather repetitive! Go out to eat at Soffi cafe in town if you have a car, which you need here. Breakfast is olives, eggs, dates, peanut butter, honey, bread, croissants, fresh orange juice and choice of teas or coffee.

I love this authentic Kasbah Itran, beautiful location, Valley of the Roses. Multiple places to sit outside, amazing views.
