Nous venons souvent à la mamounia et adorons le restaurant marocain. On a le choix entre les spécialités traditionnelles et des plus originales.
Mention spéciale pour notre serveur Mohamed Bouzar (a plusieurs reprises) qui est d’une gentillesse sans égal, et avec le sourire en permanence, et tj aux petits soins : cela fait plaisir!

Magnífico y precioso restaurante dentro del Hotel impresionante Mamounia.
La comida extraordinaria, el servicio fabuloso, el espectáculo de música alucinante.. simplemente preciosa experiencia, muy en la expectativa fijada. Enhorabuena 👏

فندق رائع من الناحية الضيافة ولاكل

Went on 25/12/22. Thought it was better than the reviews said. Food was good with some dishes much better than others (amazing pastilla and delicious lobster). Couscous with mixed grill was nothing special. Service is **slow**. Dinner was nearly 3 hours long for 4 courses. It was 45 minutes between courses at some points. Drinks were fine. Music a nice touch. It is expensive but a nice evening.

Pensavo di più vedendo tutto il contorno. Il servizio è buono ma i piatti non hanno soddisfatto le aspettative… bello il ristorante , elegante… Prezzi ovviamente altissimi ma pagando così tanto ci si aspetta di più … vorrei riprovare per capire se mi sono sbagliato

Cela vaut le coup d’aller à la Mamounia pour visiter les jardins et les grandes salles (très modernes). Les cocktails du club sont travaillés et méritent d’être goûter ! On n’a pas pu essayer les thés, qui étaient en rupture de stock (?). Il ne faut pas s’attendre à un service d’hôtel 5 étoiles : ils se sont trompés sur la commande, il a fallu quémander la carte pour commander un complément, les serveurs sont globalement perdus…

Overpriced, not worth money. The soup was good, the portions were huge, this is why I put an extra star)

This is a review of the RESTAURANT La MAROCAIN, not the bar. Couldn't find the restaurant in maps.

The Good: Food was tasty and very well presented. Considering we were already on our last day of a long trip through Morocco and tried various local food, it was nothing outstanding, especially for the price.

The service was good. It was my wife's birthday and they were kind enough to out a candle on the dessert and have the local singers perform the birthday song at the table. A nice touch!

The Bad: the main reason why I've given it only 2 stars... at the end of the meal, we were couldn't finish our dishes. We each had exactly half of the food remaining on the plate. We decide to have it packed so that we could give it to someone on the streets. We anyway didn't have a fridge in our riyad ( we were not staying at Mamounia).

The waiters did NOT allow us to pack the food! They said that only house guests (those stating at the Mamounia) are allowed to pack food.

There are two MAJOR issues here.
1. Food wastage: Why would you waste perfectly good food!!
2. My order, my choice: I have paid 1100 MAD (110€) per person just for the 3 course dinner and it is my right to decide what to do with the food. Why is one rule followed for hotel guests and another for outsiders? Both pay the same price.

This did not go down well with me and none of the waiters cared despite my polite protest.

It left a sour taste from what was otherwise a very nice meal and nice evening.

In 2022, I expect a 5 star and world famous hotel to be much much more aware of the world we live in. Food cannot be wasted, period!

The Place is really nice, the food is really bad. You can have a better tajin at the suck.
Really doesn't worth the price they charge you.
Also pay attention to the bill...they could add on it things that you didn't order.
That's incredible for a 5 star hotels.

n'y aller pas le resto est une honte. nous sommes tombés malades moi et ma conjointe après un "repas complet haut de gamme", une honte

Nourriture plutôt bonne mais pas Incroyable
Service qui laisse vraiment à désirer (pas de prise en compte des restrictions alimentaires, peu aimable...)
Allez y juste pour prendre un thé!

Don’t go to the restaurant le marocain of La mamounia. The place is beautiful and the waiters are very nice but the food and cocktails are awful. I asked the waiter to take back the cocktail because it was really not good and he told me that I still have to pay it even tho I hated it so he said you better remplace it which I did but again not good. I had my stomach burning for the whole night and the morning after so I think plus the fact that it’s not good its not even a good quality. I really really not recommend its also overpriced. You better go to Al fassia, its my favourite moroccan restaurant in Marrakech it’s really delicious and you’ll be able to discover the real moroccan gastronomy.

Worst service considering the price and the hotel supposed to be 5 stars. Worst tomato juice and sardine of my life. Very expensive for a very bad service. The maitre/garçom took my wife from our table in an impolite away while I was at the toilet. Incredible to happen in this hotel.

The place is beautiful but the level of service is not up to the place: cocktails are not done the right way (we took Negroni Sbagliato and Americano). Prices very high compared to the quality.
