Riad Rafaele

Beautiful Riad with everything on your doorstep. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, the breakfast is lovely and dinner was also excellent. Incredibly comfortable beds and a great hammam & spa. Very reasonably priced for what you get (location and services). I'd definitely come back here to stay.

Thank you Riad Rafaele for a wonderful stay in Marrakesh. We booked 5 nights and fully enjoyed from the beginning till the end. The place is stunning, very well taken care and quiet although in a very central location at walking distance from all the amenities.
Service is excellent, we were always helped with a big smile.
We loved the breakfast on the rooftop as well as lounging in the central area at the ground floor sipping Moroccan tea.
The room was spacious and clean, great bed and shower. Our bed was at the mezzanine floor which meant sone stairs to reach the bathroom but for us it was not a problem.
Only suggestion I could possibly give is to add a mini fridge to keep the delicious fruit we would buy at the street.

We loved this riad! Not too sure I could come up with anything negative about it. We arrived late in the evening - the owners sent a car for us and even with the delay, the driver was waiting. We were greeted warmly by the staff - Ellhoussaine and Rioudan The food (both dinner and breakfast) was delicious and plentiful and they had drinks available as well. The riad itself was stunning with beautiful interiors. Our room was gorgeous with excellent air conditioning, a super comfy bed, a great bathroom and shower and plenty of space for the three of us. Location wise the riad was great. All around an excellent stay and if you want to experience an authentic riad this is the place. We would most definitely stay here again!

Oumaima and Nawal did my reflexology massage which was fantastic, I would definitely recommend after walking the busy streets. The spa is included if you book a treatment and was very quiet and relaxing, you can spend the whole day there without hearing the noise of the city.

It Was a charming riad.
Had mini massage at the spa and swam in a cute courtyard pool, it was like warm so nice to swim in middle of winter! Staff Hussein did everything for us and the breakfast chef also lovely. Could do with more music and atmosphere up at the terrace 😀

We stayed here for a night and we were blown away by the hospitality of the staff here. Tucked away amidst the labyrinthine streets of the medina, this charming riad exuded an atmosphere of tranquility and charm from the moment we stepped through its doorway. The place is very well maintained and I can only recommend it highly.

We ended our trip in Marrakech by staying one night at he Riad Rafaele & Spa and had a lovely time.
The hotel is charming and extremely well decorated. The staff is friend and welcoming. We absolutely loved our room and the haman + massage experience.
We highly recommend it!

Riad Raphaël the best Riad I’ve ever been privileged enough to stay at. Gorgeous set up and it only gets more breathtaking when you walk in. High quality rooms and high quality service. Also, the staff was friendly, caring and accommodating. Valerie the owner is divine and full of life. She definitely makes your stay special. A true Marrakech experience nestle in the Medina. Bravo !

This Riad is fantastic! My friends and I stayed in the big suite for 2 nights and it was perfect. The hotel, rooms, rooftop are gorgeous. The location is smack in the Medina near the souk. They also had a really good breakfast and you can get a bottle of wine at night .. which is basically impossible anywhere else in the Medina. Tomas and Valerie gave us lots of good tips. Definitely stay here and you’ll be very happy!

We stayed for 6 nights and visited different riads and there is simply something magical about this place. From the stunning courtyard immersed in the vegetation, to the beautiful decor of the rooms (which are spotlessly clean)and the courtesy of the staff (shout out to Abdul), Riad Rafaele is a quiet paradise in the middle of the medina with a unique vibe in Marrakech. Valerie and Thomas make you feel at home and try and help you with everything you need. They are fantastic hosts. All I selfishly hope for is that it stays an exclusive hidden gem and doesn't get discovered too much so that we can keep booking it in the future.

Such a hidden gem! I did a lot of research and ended up choosing this place. The interior is beautifully decorated and the details to the rooms are amazing! Definitely staying here again! The staff was so helpful, kind, and friendly! Even met the owner and he personally helped us!

This was our third visit to Marrakech and without doubt, Riad Rafaele was our favourite by some distance. It's a beautiful oasis and is exactly what you expect when you think of a Moroccan riad. It is traditional and yet also somehow modern. The bedrooms are exquisite. In fact the interiors throughout are incredible. There's a plunge pool on the ground floor and on the roof is a terrace where you eat breakfast or chill in the sun on loungers. There's also a bar making it a perfect setting for sundowners. We really loved everything about this place. the service was phenomenal. Nothing was too much trouble. Even Thomas the owner was warm, friendly and welcoming. It's also really good value for money we felt. We highly recommend Riad Rafaele.

The Riad Rafael was everything we hoped for and more. Great location
within the Medina, exquisite decor, pool, spa & rooftop bar. Hosts Thomas and Valerie were simply fantastic; nothing was too much trouble, they were very attentive and great company too!
I’d recommend the walking tour (organised by Thomas) to take in all the history and magnificent sights Marrakesh has to offer!!

Might I be bold enough to say that the pictures don’t do it justice?

To begin, Thomas and Marwan spoiled my husband and I every second that we were there, looking after us to ensure we had a tour guide to explore the Médina with just a few hours after arriving.

As for the Riad, Thomas has truly brought it to life with his stylish taste and impeccable, uncanny attention to even the smallest details. It was a tremendously stimulating experience for us. Prior to booking, we toiled with the question of whether or not we should stay in a Riad or Hotel and came to the conclusion after doing much research that we can stay in a hotel anywhere! A Riad is the only way to go as it’s a truly authentic Moroccan experience! The room we stayed in is absolutely divine and overlooked the entire courtyard. The decor is stunning and everything just flows seamlessly together into such a romantic and dreamy aesthetic that you’ll be pinching yourself to wake up, wondering if it’s even real!

We wont ever forget our stay at the Riad Rafaele and hope to have the opportunity to visit again in the near future!

Happy New Year!

My daughter and I spent 3 very happy days at Riad Rafaele. The building and rooms are beautiful, a haven of peace in the heart of the Medina. The staff and owners are very kind and thoughtful and take a lot of trouble to make you feel welcome and relaxed. We didn't have dinner but the breakfast was always good with plenty of choice (with different options each day) and presented beautifully. The Riad is very old and atmospheric, with stunning craftsmanship everywhere you look. We loved it.

We stayed in 2 rooms in June 2022 and immediately fell in love with the riad. The decor is stylish and tasteful with a great combination of style and practicality. The owners and staff are attentive, helpful and very welcoming.

The bedrooms in the riad are spacious, well equipped and cool.

The pool area/courtyard is perfect for realaxing with seating and soft loungers and gets the sun for a good portion of the day.

We couldn't have asked for a better location within the medina as the Riad is located to so many nice restaurants, shops with easy access to all the attractions Marrakech has to offer. We walked to the majority of places and it's also easy to catch a taxi close to the riad.

A wonderfully luxurious Riad that we will certainly be revisiting!

Beautiful Riad in an excellent location with attentive service. Moran, a gem, is shown pouring us mint tea upon arrival, and we learned the higher the pour, the more welcomed you are ;) Valerie, the owner, is a breath of fresh air. Lastly, having breakfast in the breezy rooftop terraza is a great way to start the day. Would definitely recommend.

My wife and I spent a wonderful few days at Riad Rafaele . Thomas and Valerie are excellent hosts and looked after all our needs from ordering cars, arranging a couples hammam and catering for a romantic dinner on the roof terrace. Our suite was beautiful and the riad is well positioned on the edge of the souks and a quick taxi ride to the new town . We plan to return next year with a group of friends as the riad would be great for a party .
