We were a group of 10 and stayed here 5 nights for a team retreat and took the full-pension option.
Absolutely gorgeous building, very spacious with comfortable, tastefully decorated rooms. It was always a pleasure to come back to the peaceful, cool oasis after a day of walking around the bustling souk.
Unusual for a riad, but very appreciated, was a rooftop terrace with plenty of naturally shaded areas, giving us many nooks to work and relax in.
Meals were delicious; local and freshly prepared every day. I especially appreciated the freshly-baked breakfast cakes every morning.
I would definitely recommend for +-10 person groups; families/team-retreats/friend holiday - it was a real treat to be taken care of so well and to not have to worry about what to do and where to eat.

Gorgeous riad that keeps a lot of it's traditional features without losing any luxuries.
All the staff was super helpful and nice.
Superb location inside the Medina but quick walk to the main road/car accessible roads.
Wish we had spend a little longer to enjoy it's many terraces and rooftops oh and the gorgeous swimming pool!

If it was possible to give 100 stars, I would!! Our stay in Riad Dar El Aila was beyond expectations. The riad is unbelievably beautiful and gave my family and I a feel of the old Morocco. You walk through tiny alleyways (too small for cars) and enter through a little wooden door, which once inside, opens up to paradise. There are two gorgeous courtyards, winding staircases, multiple rooftops of varying levels, unique rooms of all shapes and sizes, plus a dining area large enough to accommodate all guests.

My family and I (26 total) were in Marrakech for my wedding and found Cedric's place to be the perfect accommodations. Not only did we have a beautiful place to stay for the week, but they also organized travel (for all my wedding guests, not only the ones at the riad), helped book excursions, and personally walked our guests to and from restaurants and attractions to ensure their safety. They made food runs, served atay (Moroccan Tea) upon request, made beer and wine runs, and cooked perfect meals when we didn't want to venture out.

Cedric and his team were professional, responsive, accommodating, and went above and beyond for any special requests we made. I can't thank them enough for sharing their beautiful riad an making our stay better than we ever could have imagined. Trust me - if you're looking for an authentic Moroccan experience with the best hosts possible, stay here!!!

I really loved staying in this hotel with my friends. All the workers are super kind and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The food was also very good. My favorite thing about the Riad was the pool 😍. I will definitely recommend my friends if they come to Marrakesh to stay here. 😃

Excellent and professional service. All was very polite and ready to help us in any way the could!
They gave us excellent recommendations on were to eat,drink,sightseeing and they provide us all helpful infos for our stay in Marrakesh.
The Riad was very nice,clean and tidy. In our room we had everything that we might need.
Also, there is an available spa in case that you want to relax.

The only minus was that the service at restaurant was not so fast. We were waiting more than 45mins to serv. our main dishes.We understand though that this might be a common problem in all Riads design.

Great little place in heart of medina. Nice getaway from busy streets full of locals rushing around. Rooms are nice, clean and big enough for everyone. Staff was extremely helpful with anything we needed. Having coffee on rooftop during sunset made my day complete. In the morning breakfast there was one of best i had in Morocco. Fresh fruits, orange juice, fresh moroccan pancakes with delicious marmalade. Needless to say coffee was excellent too. My only regret is missing opportunity to try the spa. But that’s for next visit.

Now this Riad deserves 5 stars and let me show and tell you why.
First, the staff, it's amazing, for example 3 of our hosts, Soufiane, Hussein, Michelle were extraordinary hosts, the will stay at your disposal with everything, they are nice and kind and very polite. Also the reason why I recommend this Riad is because it's very close by foot to all the center attractions, the market, the garden, the old/new town, all in 20-30 minutes walking distance.
Now keep in mind this is a Riad not a luxury hotel, Riad means house not hotel, that is why it is done and decorated in the old stile which for us was an amazing experience, there is no TV but there is wifi, honestly the TV it's not worth to have in such a beautiful place, you are there to explore and relaxation not to watch TV. They also have a beautiful terrace with a spectacular view, for example we booked the table there for my wife's birthday the servings and food is very good. Do not worry when they take you to the Riad, you will think it's not safe because of the narrow streets and you would expect a big entrance, as I mentioned this is and old stile Riad, so it will be situated in the old district where you can truly experience Marrakesh 😊So 100% recommended!

Really beautiful riad with amazing views across the city, right on the edge of the medina. We were lucky enough to get the only room that's actually on the roof of the hotel, and although the roof terrace is open for all guests we found that most evenings we had it to ourselves. Marrakech is a city like no other and there's so much to see, but it's pretty full on and Riad Dar El Aïla is the perfect place to retreat to when you need a break!

I liked this riad very much. Though it`s not easy to find and better to book a transfer! People who work there are very hospitable and friendly! They treat you with respect and friendliness. Big thank to Haucim Iqban, who helped us a lot !!!!! Inside its beautiful with birds signing and tortoises crawling:) The breakfast was very delicious! The best I had in Morocco!

We were in September and everything was perfect. The Staff is very kind, helpful and recommend you what is better no to do and places you can visit too.

One of my friends tried a Hammam and she would repeat It again.

I’ll recommend you choose this one, take a Moroccan tea with pastries and relax in the pool.

I would like to highlight the treatment received from Simon, Soufiane, Hussain and Hassan. They were very professional in many situations like:

- Preparing a breakfast out of “the scheduled
time” because we had an excursion.

- Being careful with our allergies and alert us
when something contains it.

- Taking care about us for example when one
of our friends hit with the door.

- Offering more services like Hammam.

It’s near of everything and if it’s necessary the staff can help you to request a Taxi and also if you need some transfer to the airport too.

We had an pleasant stay here ! In the middle of the Medina we could relax in this beautiful riad where it was quiet and peaceful.

A very cosy Riad in the center of Medina Marrakech. Close to the fanciest restaurants in Marrakech. Great service thanks to Saidou who made our stay comfortable there. Magnificent view from Terrace at night. Clean swimming pool.

We loved this hotel so much we have booked to go back in November after our stay in May. It is beautiful and they are very kind and helpful, there is so much more I could say, but I don't have time. I hope you enjoy yourselves as much as we did.
