We booked a 3 days, 2 nights trip from Marrakesh to Fez via erg Chebbi and would highly recommend it! Incredible sites, a night in the desert under the stars, a charming guide - we could not have asked for a better experience.
The SO Morocco team were fantastic from start to finish - even accommodating a change of plan, last minute, after we messed up our travel dates.
Hmad, our local contact and an extremely talented musician, made our desert experience at his luxurious desert camp truly magical - and we LOVED our guide, Mustafa. Incredibly knowledgeable and interesting, Mustafa is also a really wonderful person. We could not have wished for a better guide, driver, and now friend, for our trip.
We truly felt like we saw the real Morocco (not just the tourist traps) so if you want to explore the amazing country which is Morocco - choose SO Morocco (and Mustafa) and you'll have the most incredible time.

We went to Morocco as a family with a 4 year old. Enjoyed every bit of our vacation. So Morocco were very flexible and accomodative. Our guide cum driver Brahim made the journey so comfortable, he made sure to align with our requests for food and travel. Tiziri dessert camp booked by them was top notch. Overall we highly recommend So Morocco.

Spent 14 days in Morocco on a personal itinerary that SO Morocco helped us build. Best trip ever. Linda listened to what our goals were and delivered in spades. It's obvious they have a well vetted team of guides, drivers and contacts for accommodation and basically anything you wished to attempt. We opted to stay in Riads to fully experience the medinas, souks and people. A couple of cooking classes, a walking food tour and a Hammam rounded out our explorations in 7 different locations. Would not hesitate to recommend this company to friends and family.

I already know this country well enough to not get surprised easily, but the tour that Linda organised have totally changed something in me.

I am trying to find the keywords to describe my experience during this week that I have spent travelling with So Morocco...but I surprisingly struggle to find even a suitable one!

I saw, heard, touched, listened, tasted, smelled, caressed, observed, meditated, and absorbed, even more, the strength of this country!
With no doubts, the most unforgettable experience has been the one in the desert.

The peak of all the feelings I had, enclosed in those pastel-coloured dunes and the whispers of the wind.
I saw canyons, steppe, dunes, lakes, rivers, mountains.
I listened to the wind, to prayers, drums...and the sound of frogs, birds, camels, dogs, cats, donkeys, goats, horses and peacocks.
I ate amazing food, unique and also traditional.
I walked on earth, on every possible color and shade and consistency. Sandy, dusty, muddy, on stone and on grass.
I entered in secret peaceful oasis's and walked through the narrowest and steepest alleyways.
I don't know how to describe all that. I haven't enough words, enough poetry in myself. But my senses are satiated.
I don't want to eat, see, hear anything new until I digested this feeling, at least partially.

Thank you So Morocco for making me fall in love with this magical country for the third time. Thank you for helping me igniting my inspiration <3

Just returned home after a 10-day tour in Morocco organised by So Morocco: WHAT A HOLIDAY!
Very well organised, and as we wished, we got the opportunity to see so many lovely places, get in touch with locals, stayed at great hotels and savoured such a variety of mouth-watering food!

Without doubt, the highlight was the desert trip to Tiziri, but how can one forget the walks in the medinas, the beautiful riads and being pampered at the hammam.

So Morocco is one of the easiest and best companies to work with. Linda was very helpful throughout the whole planning process, giving us options and listening to our ideas and preferences.

So Morocco and Linda were extremely accommodating in arranging a last-minute visit to Jarjeer Mule & Donkey Refuge. She provided timely responses, and had a helpful suggestion regarding an add-on visit to Anima Garden that made the most of our morning. Our driver, Omar, was prompt and friendly.

Especially given that this was a small, half-day trip, the personalized attention was a pleasant surprise. Would definitely recommend!

SO Morocco SO perfect. This was our first ever experience with a tour company/organisation. We have worked in the tourism industry over the years and have always travelled independently, we love flexibility and getting off the beaten path so normally do our own thing. Linda and her wonderful guide and driver Houssaine have completely converted us. We initially planned a seven day trip which became a 21 day trip. We could not praise the whole team highly enough. Linda tuned into our travel style and taste’s immediately, sourcing amazing and varied accommodation and expertly planning our trip for us. I had strong reservations of a longer trip, with some long drives along the way, as I am a bad passenger. My fears were unfounded as I quickly knew that we were in safe hands with Houssaine. He also took us to some wonderful local restaurants, which were some of the highlights of our trip. An amazing guide, who shared his wonderful knowledge and amazing country with us. Everyone that we met along the way has been so gracious and hospitable. We wouldn’t change a thing about our trip, other than never wanting to leave Morocco. I truly don't even have words for this experience. The booking experience and pre-trip experience were both incredible. Linda was SO fast in responding to questions and requests, making adjustments and working with our budget and trip length to come up with the PERFECT itinerary for us very quickly. She also provided so much information proactively that I never felt like I was chasing answers.

Our driver (and friend for life) Mustapha was incredible. He was so attentive and tuned in to our travel style and our preferences and our needs - he made us feel so welcomed and at ease right away. Over the course of the trip we bonded with him and realized just how incredible he is - he shared his country with us so openly, really got to know us, and made sure that whatever it was we wanted to do or learn or see, that we would be able to. We did not want to leave either Morocco or Mustapha at the end of the trip at all.

Each and every accommodation, person, sight, restaurant, and experience was amazing - they gave us a really great variety and showed us so many sides of Morocco. Every single day of this trip had us in awe. This trip blew our minds, through and through. Couldn't have asked for a better experience in any way. We've just completed a 4 days/3 nights tour of the south of Morocco with So Morocco and the experience was absolutely fantastic. Our guide Rachid was very knowledgable and was always happy to answer any question we had about the history of Morocco. Communication with So Morocco was great and they always made sure everything was going great. Our driver always had cold water waiting for us in the car, which in a must in the heat of the summer. The hotel and accommodations were absolutely stunning. All in all this was an unforgettable trip. We highly recommend.

Our 3-day private tour through the High Atlas mountains, Dades Valley, and to Erg Chebbi was by far the highlight of our entire trip to Morocco. Our driver & guide, Hsini was extremely friendly, spoke perfect English, was knowledgeable, did an insane amount of driving by himself (and during Ramadan), and we bonded with him since he was of a similar age. Linda made the process of organizing this trip a breeze and was extremely responsive to all of our needs and questions, and I am so thankful to her for recommending that we stay one night in the Dades Valley, originally an area I wasn't very interested in visiting. The beautiful scenery along with the unique and exquisite accommodations she organized for us at Dar Blues was the most unforgettable part of our trip that should not be missed! We fell in loved with the Dades Valley and in particular the entire experience at Dar Blues, so much that we are considering going back just to spend more time in this area. Our 4-wheel drive for the very long drives through the mountains and desert was very comfortable, the perfect vehicle for the terrain, and in great condition.The level of detail in the itinerary and upfront information provided about what to expect was extremely informative and helpful, and shows just how knowledgeable Linda and her team are about Morocco. So Morocco trips are also very reasonably priced and a great value for the level of service and high quality of the trip vs. other companies I researched - and especially given the trips are completely private. Me and my hubby booked 4-days desert tour with So Morocco. After reading so many stories about tourists getting scammed by local tour agencies, we were determined to find the trustworthy company that will help us design the perfect trip catered our needs. And we found So Morocco. Linda (owner) responded right away to our inquiry and answered all my questions with lots of details. Right away, we could feel that Linda was genuine and professional. We booked a private tour so it was just us and the driver. Car was 6-seaters AWD vehicle, clean and comfortable. Our driver (guide) was professional, polite and we felt safe being driven by him. All 3 hotels Linda booked for us were amazing. Boutique, authentic, beautiful. Words can't describe the amazing stays we had at all 3 places! Dinner and breakfast were provided and everything was delicious. Thanks to Linda, we were able to experience rich culture of Morocco and see how locals live. So Morocco! Just book it!

My friend and I had the pleasure of using So Morocco (very well-organized company) on our recent 10-day tour (January 2019) to Fes, Meknes, Chefchaouen (the blue city - a must!), Rabat, Marrakesh (the souks!), and Casablanca. Linda exceeded all our expectations. She is an extremely gracious, professional woman who worked with us in arranging the best customized trip for our budget.

Once we arrived in Casablanca, we were off to enjoy our adventure. Our personal guide, Ali, was extremely friendly, spoke very good English, was very knowledgeable, reliable, accommodating, and indeed a fantastic driver and human being! Kudos to Ali!! The accommodations varied between a Dar or a Riad – and they were all spectacular! We had breakfast and high tea at the Dar / Riad – and then occasionally would stay for dinner. The food was outstanding, local, and fresh.

There is no way we could have arranged this type of trip and accommodations ourselves. We were thankful to have So Morocco take the guess work out of it and provide us with the most amazing trip that we will never forget! Thank you Linda and Ali!

I cannot praise So Morocco enough.
My husband and I wanted to go to Morocco for our honeymoon. I simply found So Morocco on Google. After I saw their fantastic reveiws here on Trip Advisor I gave Linda a call for more information. She spent a long time on the phone with me on a Sunday happily answering my questions and suggested she could send me a dummy itinerary for us to look at. This was all done so efficiently and professionally.

Her knowledge and wisdom of Morocco was first class and she listened to our wants and needs and designed our trip based upon our personalities and all on that same day we booked our trip with So Morocco.
We only had 5 days 6 nights available to spend in this country yet Linda designed our tour so we could fit as much in without feeling hurried.

We managed to see 1 major city, 1 fantastic village homestay with a Moroccan Berber family,  2 huge mountain ranges and all they had to offer, 3 seperate and very different villages and 1 magical afternoon, night and morning in the Sahara desert at an incredible private luxury honeymoon camp deep into the sand dunes, 1 very fun camel ride and all that was in between.

Everything that was promised to us was that and more. The food we received at every riad was spectacular and home cooked. Every riad was exactly as Linda described and more.
The best bit about this was Linda has stayed in every place and tasted every dish and driven ever road that she booked for us and because of her warm and friendly nature she already had our trust from the get go so whatever was good for her was good for us.

The drivers appointed for us were friendly, professional, punctual and had incredible knowledge of this country. Their driving was a class act particularly some of the off road drives.
We felt safe and secure and Linda was available 24 hours of the day or night to contact if we needed her.

There is absolutely no way we could have experienced Morocco the way we did, if I tried to book all of this myself.
SO Morocco take the hustle and stress and time out of your hands and present you with a trip of a lifetime never to be forgotten full of new memories and more knowledge and great people. I almost fell over backwards at the price of our tour as I was expecting to pay at least triple. Its extremely affordable.

I would recommend So Morocco in a heart beat.  Im already planning my next trip with them to see what we couldn't fit in this time round.

Linda (So Morocco) is without a doubt the most pleasant person to deal with in regards to customer service. She handpicks the accomodation herself and every one we stayed at was beautiful in its own way. Morocco proved to be very difficult to travel in a DIY fashion so would 100% suggest that if you're thinking of having a travelling holiday to Morocco, you should use a tour company such as this one. We had the best time discovering Morocco and I would definitely organise a tour with So Morocco again!! Linda helped plan our trip to see everything we wanted to, whilst thinking about budget constraints. She was in communication while we were there too.

We started our tour in Marrakech and thought that would be the highlight but each day got better and better! Our driver Amed made the experience- he quickly became a friend, he shared so many stories of his life as a Moroccan and we listened to beautiful local beautiful throughout our road trip and spent ours laughing together.

We started our trip after Marrakech and headed through the Atlas Mountains, we spent a night in an amazing cave hotel in Todra Gorge and made our way into the Sagara Desert on camels! We spent a moving night 'camping' in luxury tents which had power, a shower and toilets in the Sahara! And the headed to our final destination for some chill out time at the beaches of Essaouira

Travelling during Ramadan wasn't a problem and we thought the shops owners in Marrakech were probably calmer!! Most Riads sold alcohol after sun down.

We cannot wait to go back one day. Our trip was so much more than we ever imagined!

So Morocco costumized an amazing 4 day desert trip for us with everything that we dreamed of doing as we got to explore everything from Marrakech to the superb Sahara desert. We simply can't pick one highlight from our overall experience as everything was unique, authentic and unlike anything we have ever experienced.

Erg Chebbi desert was fantastic and I cannot recommend the luxury desert camp enough. It was so much worth it.

Lastly, our driver/guide/friend Hamid was beyond wonderful and from our whole 12 days in Morocco he was the nicest, most knowledgable and fun person we met. Thank you, you made our trip :)
