Kasbah Azul

Mohamed and staff are amazing and provide an authentic service. The kasbah is quiet and beautiful both inside and out. Our room was very comfortable and the heater held back the cold Morocco night. The water took a long time to warm up (it never really got hot), but Mohamed gave us fair warning about this so we planned our showers accordingly.

We came here as ‚outside-guests‘ from a kasbah close-by for a hamam, massage and dinner. My girlfriend and I absolutely loved it!!! The massage was one of the best we had, and the relaxing after the massage on the terrace with the amazing green, biodiverse garden, was breath taking. The team there was very attentive and we felt very welcome‘. We felt so at peace at the hotel that we decided to come back for dinner which we did, the next evening and we enjoyed a special dinner on our last evening in the area. Next time we will definitely stay at Kasbah Azul! Don‘t miss your chance to go there also if it is just hamam, massage or dinner!

This Kasbah has been one of the most wonderful places to stay during our journey! 🩷 It is a little paradise with wonderful hosts, delicious food and beautiful rooms. Everything was perfect and we will return to this place ☺ Thank you for everything!

I wish I could give six stars. Arriving at Kasbah Azul was like something out of a dream, the garden is a sensory paradise, the hospitality wonderful and the food divine. We only wish that we could have stayed longer. It is a magical setting that felt surreal it was so beautiful.

Kasbah Azul is a little paradise where you arrive and don`t want to leave again. Driving here through the very dry landscape it was an absolute joy to arrive at Kasbah Azul with its beautiful gardens, a nice refreshing pool and unique atmosphere. A big compliment to Nassr and the entire team. We really looked forward to breakfast and especially dinner every day. The menu always contained little surprises and tasted delicious. The staff was very nice, attentive and really made an effort to make sure we had a great time. Everything was very clean, and the rooms have a great atmosphere. We stayed at the 1st floor to have a wonderful view on the garden. It is truly a little paradise and for sure worth staying a few days. Shukran!

We really enjoyed our stay in this oasis of tranquility. The Kaspa is beautifully built and nicely furnished, with a very nice pool and rich garden. The food is delicious, the hosts and staff are very friendly and attentive. We can highly recommend this beautiful place. Gladly again.

‘Small paradise’, that is how the owner called this beautiful gem. Nothing else to be added - the family room was perfect, everything was clean, the garden, the pool, balanced and a real treat. The dinner is something worth while, just as a poolside breakfast.

Our best hotel during our stay in Marocco. Shame we only spend one night here.

2 tips:

- road here goes through an abandoned kasba, assuming you come from the main road follow the most right suggested Google route instead of the plotted route left. You’ll soon see a sign pointing to the hotel.
- the abandoned kasbah is worth exploring. Careful, some floors seem dodgy, but find the hidden rooms and end up in parts still in use. Urbex exploring opportunity.

If you wanna visit paradise on earth, that’s the place to go for plus Mohemed will give you a royal treatment…..all in all a unique experience

We stopped for one night on our way to the desert and we loved it. The place is beautiful and quiet, surrounded by a green garden and palm trees. Friendly staff and awesome food!

Beautiful kasbah in the palmerie of the Draa Valley near Agdz set next to an even larger ruined kasbah. Food and service was outstanding. Rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Explore the ruined kasbah next door. All of the food is homemade and local. A great respite on the way to the dunes.

A beautiful Kasbah and we had a really delicious meal! The road to the Kasbah isn't the best one and you have to drive on to find this beautiful place.

Wunderbare Kasbah mit schönen Zimmern, grosszügigen Pool mit Sitzplätzen zum Verweilen, einem lauschigen Paradiesgarten mitten in der Oase. Spaziergänge im Garten oder in der Oase und die vielen Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten, auf der Terrasse und am Pool laden zur Erholung ein, ein idealer Ort, um dicke Bücher zu lesen oder zu schreiben. Nachtessen und Frühstück sind grandios, die Köchin Fatima komponiert feine Gerichte, und Majuba serviert extrem nett (das exzellente Dessert habe sie zubereitet🤩). Kleine Einschränkungen bei der AAA-Bewertung Punkte gibts, weil wir wohl im Unterschied zum letzten Mal Pech hatte : Warmwasser kam erst zögerlich nach Minuten (da gabs eine Entschuldigung wegen des Klempners), und wir haben deshalb kalt geduscht. Technische Details sind optimierbar: Wifi mit Wechsel Netz mit jeweils neuer Passworteingabe und Zonen mit schlechtem bzw keinem Empfang (da gibt es kostengünstige Meshsysteme ohne solche Brüche und toten Winkeln), Lampe Schminkspiegel defekt, Batterie Safe muss ersetzt werden, Druck Toilettenspülung optimierungsbedürftig. Insgesamt ein wunderbarer Ort für einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt. Vor 6 Jahren war ich bereits da und habe seither die Kasbah Azul immer wieder als Zwischenhalt im Paradies empfohlen. Nach Behebung der kleinen Mängel ist es nicht nur ein Paradies, sondern auch perfekt.

Eine sensationell schöne Kasbah im Grünen gelegen. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön eingerichtet mit Terrasse oder Sitzplatz. Der Innenbereich ist geschmackvoll und heimelig. Der Garten mit Pool ist ein Paradies. Die Köchin Fatima und die Bedienung Majuba sind großartig 👍
Einen Abzug müsste man für das wackelige Internet machen. Zeitung im Frühstücksraum lesen ist schwierig. Man muss sich immer wieder in der Reception einloggen. Duschen war eine Herausforderung. Da es am Morgen und Abend recht kühl war, wäre eine warme Dusche sehr angenehm. Nach einer Nacht in der Wüste, freuten wir uns darauf, uns waschen zu können. Auch nach zehn Minuten kam es nur lauwarm heraus. Am Morgen haben wir dann auf das kalte Duschen verzichtet. Der Kommentar des Managers: Wir müssen halt das Wasser zehn Minuten laufen lassen, dann kommt es schon. Naja, für lauwarmes Wasser, zehn Minuten Wasser laufen lassen an einem Ort mit extremen Wassermangel. Darauf hingewiesen wurden wir erst vor der Abreise.
Aber trotz den kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten, ein traumhaft schöner Ort!
