DOMAINE DES REMPARTS HOTEL & SPA

Had a great time at this wonderful oasis of a hotel just outside of Marrakesh.

The hotel: the reception area and bar smell wonderful as you come in, the decor is traditional yet modern and very well kept.

The two pools are beautiful, spotless and very welcoming. The best thing about them is the space, the loungers are well spaced out, and you do not feel crowed at all. The poolside restaurant serves very nice pizza and light bites, perfect for lazy lunch by the pool.

The gardens are lush, beautiful but not overly manicured, giving a lovely wild tone to the outside setting.

The main resturant where breakfast and dinner are served is a very charming place with a high end Finnish.
Breakfast is plentiful, traditional morrocan fair and excellent. dinner was morrocan dishes served in a French fine dining style. Well executed and delicious, an unexpected treat.

The rooms: well proportioned, airy and stylish the rooms for the price are fabulous. We do have a few negatives about the room though. The hair dryer was an antique and barely worth using, the shower while nice and functional was not the most welcoming space and one of the taps in the double sink was not working properly. On the whole minor issues which did not spoil our stay.

Also there is a wonderful cat called Atlas who is the star of the property.

We loved every minute of our stay in Domaine. Location was great, pools where amazing, staff and service was absolutely perfect and uncle Hamid was the best of the best. We will most definitely come back with the Queen: Ella!

ABSOLUTE BEST SERVICE AND HOTEL I HAVE EVER STAYED IN! The rooms were beautiful and they treated us like family. EVERYONE was kind and helpful. I loved both Muhammads (Front Desk Attendant & Room Service Attendant) and Oualid as well! He helped us get set up for a new taxi after we overslept then he even went as far as to drive to the train station when we left a very important tribal hat. Muhammad (room service) remembered all my favorite menu items and brought us anything we needed with such genuine service. The best part of my 4 nights in Marrakesh was the hotel and it’s staff. Thank you all for being so amazing and kind hearted !

We had an amazing stay at Domaine des Remparts, for 9 nights in march. The hotel is great, good amenities, the spaces are comfortable, well decorated, and you quickly feel at home. It was the perfect solution for us: not a small riad nor a big resort or chain, close to the city with a free shuttle transfer several times a day (big plus!), but far enough to escape from the busy streets of Marrakech. It’s quiet, a real hidden oasis with greens and birds (and a curious cat we named Atlas). The bedding and room itself is also good, spacious and comfortable, the only suggestion for improvement we have would be changing the shower head (116). There is one big pool, and a smaller one that is heated, awesome for the colder months or grey weather. The food is also good: breakfast is amazing, lunch is healthy at the pool restaurant, and evening dinner is a treat as well with both local and french cuisine. The plates are beautiful, and some products come directly from the gardens (edible flowers, fruit…). But what makes the experience so good and worth 5 stars is the friendly staff and great service. They go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and have answered all of our small requests or questions with a smile and provided the right solutions. A big thank you to the whole team, you made our vacation really special!
Tip: grab breakfast on the grass in the sun in front of the restaurant, and ask them to light the fireplace in your room at night.

Everything was incredible at this fantastic little find. Really did not what to expect but from the moment we came, we were greeted by an incredibly warm welcome, followed by some complimentary Moroccon tea and home made biscuits (which were so nice!). Our room - WOW. It had a fireplace, beautifully decorated - everything was just so lovely. Breakfast was incredible every single day, so much food and it was super tasty. One of the nights we came back a little late and Oualid kindly came and lit our fire for us - really appreciated that, thank you! Also recommend the hammam and spa - it was a great experience.

I came to Domaine des Ramparts for a site visit and lunch for an event from our school and found this to be a haven of pace and beauty. Hidden behind the walls and invisible to the passer -by on the countryside road just outside Marrakech, Domaine des Ramparts surprised me with a beautifully appointed lobby, leading off to an inviting bar with billiard option and beautiful decor, or out into a peaceful and well maintained garden with pool, heated pool and poolside restaurant as well as a Spa on the grounds. An authentic Berber tent invited to a cozy sit down while cabanas placed around the main pool tempted me to just lay down and relax. The rooms at Domaine are located around the garden with easy access to all amenities. The people I met in the lobby and poolside restaurant were super friendly and authentic and the food we ate, was delicious. The owner and his wife, whom I came to know, are very engaged in the property and very friendly, which is reflected in how this place is run. I will definitely come to visit their dinner restaurant, another beautifully designed locale, all with organic, plant based decor, and am sure our planned event there will be a success.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and so relaxing ! The food is delicious. The rooms spacious and beautifully set up. The staff is soooo kind and helpful ! You can enjoy the pools (one of them is heated !), the gym, the tennis courts or the spa for a great hammma or massage ! Ive been there 2 times and i loved it !

Stayed here on my first trip to Marrakech. Slightly far from town but transportation is not expensive. The suite is very spacious. The breakfast was really good. The pool was kinda cold though.

Look no further for ultimate serenity, calmness , Moroccan authenticity and top quality stay !
Absolutely everything deserves 5 stars: personnel ( Hiba, Abdelhamid, Said, Shima to name a few), facilities( beautiful authentic/nomad/Berber culture projected with modern twist to deliver ultimate luxury experience), restaurant, barmen Mohammad ( mind-blowing cocktails!!!!!!), huge green territory, very calm and relaxing, gigantic rooms, top-notch cleaning service, delicious food, both local & international cuisine , super-comfy spa !

I booked the Suite Deluxe with the view on the pool as a birthday surprise for my best friend, and the staff was beyond helpful and accommodating to make the surprise and the stay the most perfect.

The hotel is at 15 min from the heart of Marrakech and is perfect to keep the best of both world : a calm relaxing stay not too far from the city. For city busy bees like us, it was a real refreshing weekend getaway.

The room is beautifully made and furnished, and is quite large and bright; we loved its home-y cosy but still refined design. Extra love for the mattresses that were extremely comfortable : I slept like a baby !!

Special thanks to Adil for the extra attention and beautiful set up for our table dinner, the help with organizing the surprise and the activities in and around Marrakech, and for always being available to our requests. Another shoutout for the wonderful cuisine : the dinner was a pleasure to our tastebuds and we loved and enjoyed every moment of it. The breakfast was filling, tasty and diversified and the service impeccable.

I 100% recommend the hotel, it's excellent.
