We came here for our first dinner in Marrakech and it was exceptional. We started with a nice drink on the rooftop before enjoying the great dinner. We started out with a variety of traditional salads before receiving the main dishes of chicken tajine and beef tajine. Everything was very good and very flavorful. They also had love music and belly dancing which was a nice touch but the standout was the amazing food. This is located directly next to the main square and the police station. All of the staff were very nice and helpful.

We went to Al Baraka to escape the busy and somehow chaotic Yamaa El Fna square and were amazed at how quiet and peaceful this restaurant & bar is despite being so close to the square.

Many of the seating is outside in the inner courtyard but there are several rooms with further dining tables.

The prices are a little high but drinks come with several snacks like black and green olives, toasted chickpeas etc. The service was great.

Good food near the jemaa el-fnaa in a raid setting with lots of plants. There were shade for the sun, but at dinner time, they reflected the flame lamps sitting on the tables, which made a pretty ambiance. There was some good live music and then a dancer. It's not the best tijne kafta we had, but it's still pretty good. The lamb couscous and chicken kabobs were fantastic!!

Ate here on Feb 23, 2022, after receiving a recommendation. The ambiance was nice, classy, upscale. I had the prefix menu “Pacha”. Which was lamb tajine, salad, desert. It was just too much food. It would’ve been better to split it with someone else. I took the desert and oranges to go. No point in wasting it. The only negative, it was cash only. Service was above average (perhaps it was late and I was there only patron?)

We walked through the souks and looked at the food stands first before coming to this place as this is our first night here so we want to eat with some comfort and nice ambiance.

The decor is unique and full of Moroccan flavour. We have couscous with lamb and tanjia which is a special dish from Marrakesh. Both of them were very testy. The staff was very pleasant and helpful! The musician and the dancers are also part of the whole dining experience.

I would highly recommend this place to other visitors.

Tomorrow we will be heading the to food stands for some street flavour.

We stopped here for dinner on our first night in Morocco based on a recommendation from our Riad host. It started getting pretty busy soon after we arrived. The food we ordered was good and they also served beer and wine. Then the entertainment began. Wonderful! We were treated to musicians and then a belly dancer. A guide later told us the place was a little touristy, but I say embrace it. We are tourists and this was a great introduction to Morocco!! Five stars

Fantastic meal with great food and service. Just nipped in with the family to escape the hustle and bustle and couldn't believe how tranquil it was. Great view of the market from upstairs too.

We visited AlBaraka on a suggestion from our hotel. We took a taxi there and back. Helps if you have your hotel name on a piece of paper. Maybe in English and Arabic. Loved the Tagines.
