Wir haben uns im Hotel des Village Touristique Bougafer am Rand von Tazzarine 3 Tage (im Juni) rundum wohl gefühlt. Wir waren überrascht von der so liebevoll (auch künstlerisch) gepflegten, riesigen Anlage mit Zimmern, Pool, Gärten, Terrassen, Restaurant und Bars (Alkohollizenz, abends teils Livemusik). In das angenehme Städtchen mit vollständiger Infrastruktur gelangt man in 5 Gehminuten - einfach über die Brücke des Oued Tazzarine (führt Nov-Feb Wasser).

Das Village Bougafer ist ein wunderbarer Ort für Menschen, die nicht den Fehler suchen sondern den ganz besonderen Charme des Anwesens genießen können. Im Hoteltrakt fühlt man sich fast in ein ehemaliges, schickes mitteleuropäisches Jugendstil-Kurbad versetzt. Die gesamte Anlage weist auf deutlich belebtere Zeiten hin und das Improvisationstalent der Verantwortlichen vor Ort ist offensichtlich immer wieder gefordert.

Wir waren teilweise die einzigen Hotelgäste und genossen die Ruhe tagsüber am Pool und und beim leckeren Dinner unter‘m Sternenhimmel. Dennoch wünschen wir der Anlage und ihren so angenehmen Angestellten super-viele Gäste, damit das Village mit den richtigen Investitionen rentabel in eine erfreuliche Zukunft führen kann.

Dropped in to pick up some overpriced take out bottles of wine from the bar. Nice pool but the rest of the place was tired. No guests in residence.

About Tazzarine
City in Morocco

Tazzarine is a small city and rural commune in Zagora Province, Morocco. It is located at around 30°46′20″N 5°32′45″W in the area of the Jbel Saghro. The commune includes the small villages of Tamsahelte, Timarighin and Oum raman. The neighboring municipalities are N'kob in the northwest, Taghbalt and Ait Boudaoud. The town has about five marabout tombs. All these graves are for spiritual leadership. Nearby Tazzarine is the petroglyphs site of Ait Ouazik. These rock carvings date from approximately 5000 years BC. According to the 2004 population estimation, the town has a population of about 13,721 people. It features prominently in the 2006 film Babel. source
