Restaurant La Terrasse du Marché

Surprisingly good. It seemed very average, and for some reason I saw very few people inside. However, the food was delicious, with a strong kick of taste, which I often missed in other restaurants. The portions are quite big as well.
The young staff guys could get around the customers a bit quicker. They all sat on the street side and didn’t observe inside very often.
It is really a budget place, but the quality/price ratio is the highest I tried on the square. Cheap and tasty. I will round up 4.5/5 to 5/5.

I had harira soup (tip: add lemon for extra flavour ;) ) and tajine chicken with lemon. Both dishes were very delicious 👌. People were friendly and they served us also tea when we finished our dinner. Recommended! The location is also quieter than the rest of the medina even though it is very central.

Our best eating experience in Marrakesh! The service was fantastic! They even played a salsa for us to dance to cheer us up on a hot day. 🥰 Super friendly but not pushy like it is normal here. They offer Internet with the sweetest password (also not usual). Food was fantastic. The best we had here. Clean, comfortable place to cool down. Have to bring cash, no payments with card. But totally worth this little inconvenience. Loved eating here. Certain you will do too 😊👍

Best food which we ate in Marrakech. We feel in love in moroccan food, especially Tagine. Taste of the food, atmosphere and service was amazing! For sure we’ll come back here❤

The manager helped us find our transport, as it is located at a busy junction where there are a lot of pick ups for trips. The following day we returned to have lunch. What a fantastic decision, the friendliest service, and great food. Also you get to watch Marrakech traffic at its most fascinating. Like a grand Prix of Dacia Taxis, horse drawn carts and motorcycles. Top place to experience and unlike the main square no one is trying to sell you a Rolex.

I went to the restaurant because of the reviews. I ordered the "Pastilla Poulet" for the first time. It was delicious - not too small, if you have a large appetite you may need an additional dish. The wait staff were delightful. Watching the town life is interesting. Price is reasonable. I would go back for more 🩷

Murad is a great guy, really made us feel welcome but without being pushy. Said they didnt do breakfast, but made us a special morroccan omelatte (which wasnt on the menu!) Only place we went more then once in Marrakech

Super awesome food and service. Location is perfect to sit and hang out and watch the people and different transportation sources in the main square. Very relaxing environment and great service from Issam and Mourad at the restaurant. Very strong coffee by the way!

Very good food and experience. Had a great friendly welcome from Mourad. He’s so passionate and willing to help all guests. I would recommend all my friends if they are in Marrakech.

Although we were only in Marrakesh for a week, we came back to eat at this place again at the request of our oldest son. And it wasn't close to our Riad. This is our best review. The food was delicious and fresh.

Ate here with a bunch of fellow travellers. Mourad was so kind and helped the group choose a collection of lovely dishes. Many places in Marrakech have made me feel like I’m going to get ripped off but here I felt at ease and among friends.

I tried the fixed menu and thought it was both tasty and excellent value. Best Tagine I’ve had so far!
