Restaurant chez Rachid

This place is awesome, the food is great and at really affordable prices. What attracted me here was the crowd of locals already inside eating. I immediately knew this was a place where the locals eat often with easy access being a minute walk from the square. I was surprised by the quality of the food relative to the level of pricing. The quality and service is much better than the square! Enjoy!

Don't expect chic and nice cutlery and service; but expect very cheap and delicious food. Family restaurant; and most people were Moroccans. Our kids liked couscous and I liked veggie and chicken tagine...

An excellent restaurant with a great and traditional Marrocan cuisine. Nevertheless prices are on a higher side. Views from a rooftop are very nice. Service fast and professional.

I ate here a couple of days ago with my two children and husband. I didn't check reviews, I just found the place in marrakech. The servers and owners where fantastic! I couldn't find a cash machine as it was our first night there and I didnt know where to go, and they allowed me to pay in pounds, and even offered my husband to give him a ride to the cash machine. I was panicking and felt embarrassed as I didnt know that 99 out of 100 places in marrakech dont take card. The food was delicious! We had the beef with apricot tagine, couscous and the children had the skewers and all was delicious! (I'm a food freak) all seasoned well full of lovely spices. I travelled all around morocco and hasnt tasted a tagine this good! Terrace is beautiful! Definately worth the visit

Un des meilleurs restaurants tradionnel de Marrakech. Très familial. Tres bon.au niveau prix imbattable. La clientèle est marocaine donc c est bon signe.

This place may have been decent in the past but now it's just plain bad. I had the mixed grill platter and everything other than the chicken was blank and overcooked. The quality of the meat wasn't great either. Avoid for sure.

Food is tasty but way too expensive, for two main dishes, salad, one dessert and water they charge us 510 dirham and expected tip on top of that.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Herr war freundlich. Er zeigte uns auf der Speisekarte ein Essen um 110 dh. Die Endsumme überstieg es um ein vielfaches! Sehr überteuert... Schade....

We ended up getting scammed by the waiter who brought us out a dessert with chicken in for 90 dirham each. He knew that we did not want chicken as we had just eaten at another restaurant. Ended up costing 240 dirham for 2 chicken cakes that are disgusting and we couldn't eat and 2 cans of coke. Avoid this place like the plague unless you enjoy getting ripped off by scam artists!!!!!
