The staff make up for any short comings.
We was only here for 4 days. We was offered an upgrade for £75 but we declined . The room was fine although no kettle and tiles missing on floor outside was dangerous with some works going on.
However food and pool area was fantastic.

To be honest the room wasn’t the cleanest, and the hotel is slightly dilapidated. But hey it’s Marrakesh, and it fills just how it should feel! Friendly staff with a 24 hour concierge and the location is perfect and on the straight road directly heading to the Medina market. Thank you to everyone ⭐⭐⭐⭐

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this hotel. The professionalism of all staff, from receptionist to housekeepers' was second to none. The food was delicious as well and the guys playing music during evening meal created a wonderful ambience. Only downside is that it does appear to look rundown from the outside, but otherwise I would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

I came to Marrakech with my 2 best friends. And honestly, i’m more heartbroken about leaving the staff!😂 They were lovely. Each and everyone one them were so catering and welcoming. Mashallah. The hotel itself is quite traditional, it’s not westernised like others but that’s what you would want in Morocco. I’m happy that it was clean and me and my friends had an amazing time. Thank you to the Diwane staff! You guys were incredible. Until next time Morocco ❤ Also the pool area was so clean and amazing for photo’s!!!

This was a great vacation at Diwane hotel! First CLASS treatment from every staff. Great pool area! The rooms have good size, clean and everything you need ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Great place to stay and experience the truly Moroccan experience! The breakfast buffet provides great variety of food until 10am each day and during nights you can hear a band of local musicians playing beautiful folkloric music. The Argan based shower gels are an splendid detail to help you relax and enjoy your trip to Morocco.

The spa was closed during December 2023 even though the website says it’s open, double check before planning. Watch out, they will recommend the hamam next door, but might not be the cleanest, better find a better one.

The wifi was fast enough to hold a zoom videocall.

Stayed here again. In my many experiences in hotels in Marrakech, this is by far the best, and I keep returning.
I now book one of the renovated rooms which are wonderful. The staff are friendly and nothing is a trouble to them.
The hotel is spotless, but if you bring your magnifying glass with you,as some reviewers seem to have done,you might find a stain somewhere.
The rooms are bright and very pleasant and the food is excellent.

Good location, great value for money and helpful staff. Nice big rooms and a good selection of food for breakfast.

For what you pay and where it is, you can't really fault it. The food is good, the staff are really helpful and although the rooms are tired, you don't go on holiday for the room!!!

Well! I've just returned from another excellent stay at the Diwane.Lovely hotel in a great location.The rooms are equipped with air/con,a mini fridge and a free safe deposit box.Great breakfast,the pool area is spotless and has a pool bar open until midnight,all the staff are lovely and its about a 30 mins.stroll down to the square.I can certainly recommend the Diwane and can't wait until my next visit.

Been visiting Diwane for 2 years fortunately been able to come 3 times this year ...its become our 2nd home....excellent location...staff are amazing (they are like family) always smiling pleasant professional and can't do enough....Great choice for breakfast ...rooms light and airy ...no complaints at all and would highly recommend

Very good place.
Even if we thought it wasn't the cleanest at first, we were quickly convinced of the opposite. The maids cleaned daily and thoroughly. Also "extra wishes" were fulfilled immediately, without hesitation and with a smile.
The breakfast is not the fanciest but more than enough to fill you up. Dinner was delicious and the drinks were great too.
I have rarely (if not never) seen such nice and warm staff. Whether it was the maids, the porters, the front desk staff, the waiters, the pool man and the rest of the staff, they were ALWAYS friendly, warm and helpful. With every problem, no matter how small, we were helped immediately and given extra tips for the stay.
I fell in love with this city, especially because of the warmth of the local people.
The week in the hotel felt like a second home. I would like to thank the entire staff for that. We will surely come back!

Rooms sleightly dated, but service perfect. We had a very enjoyable time.

An amazing hotel to stay at. The minute we got there staff were so friendly and helpful. Cleaning was done everyday to an amazing standard and service was quick and to a high standard. My kids had the issue of their AC not working and the staff were quick to resolve the issue and they were thoroughly satisfied with the quick room upgrade.

Overall an amazing stay, no faults, amazing staff, amazing food and facilities and will definitely be visiting again!

A true essence of morrocco, beautiful views, hotel staff very helpful and a memorable experience

This is a well-located, clean and friendly little hotel. It offers authenticity, food worth waiting for (the steak and tajines were superb) and is run by a hard-working team. Hotel Diwane is family-friendly and provides overseas visitors with a glimpse of the real Morocco (the live music in the evening and hearing the call to prayer were magical experiences). Will this hotel be a good match for you? If you are from Northern Europe there may be some surprises (e.g. we brought a kettle to make tea in our room, there may be delays, life is slower in the heat etc) but travel is all about new experiences and escaping routine. We enjoyed the decoration, the stained glass, the tiles, early breakfasts on the terrace, afternoon's in the pool and walking everywhere before the sun got too hot. If you can arrive with an open mind, some phrases in French/Arabic and go with the flow, I am sure you will have a lovely holiday :-)

Loveliest people on Earth. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay. Unfortunately l don't know their names individually but l must say they all are equally nice from the housekeepers to the front office or restaurant staff. The hotel is nice and spotlessly clean inside and out. Our room was basic but always spotless . Construction is a bit noisy but didn't bother my 1 year old he napped like a champ. I will definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends. There was plenty of choice at breakfast and we were pleased with the dinner buffet as well as with the food from the Al a cart menu. lovely hotel, clean and very well located hotel.
In regards to the staff I only have the best of impressions, all super friendly and helpful and professional.
Not to expensive !
The rooms are spacious and welcoming.
The lobby is well decorated.

My only less positive point was the fact that during my stay the elevator never worked and my room was on the 3rd floor.

The breakfast is very we’ll served with a healthy and very good variety of choices.
The hotel restaurant I would highly recommend, not too expensive and food was delicious

Hotel is of a lovely older traditional design. 3* by UK standards. I so enjoyed staying there. So gets 5* for my visit. Atrium is beautifully decorated. Comfortable beds. Had room with balcony overlooking the pool and dining terrace. Good bathroom. Good choice of foods for breakfast. Helpful staff. Good location, near to start of city tour buses. Short taxi ride to the Medina.
