Riad Zahri

We had a wonderful stay at Riad Zahri. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially Youness, who made our stay feel like a home from home. Great location, excellent food (definitely try the tagine and also have breakfast here!), and a lovely quiet place to enjoy a rooftop sunset from too. We'd rebook without a second thought. Thanks to all the team.

The best Riad I have been to in Morocco. Great location, very good breakfast, wonderful terrace with a view of Koutoubia. However, the element that distinguishes this Riad from all others is the people. At the interpersonal level, it is no longer service but family. I felt at home and I will definitely come back here. I recommend it to everyone.

What a find! Excellent little Riad, rooms clean, beds comfortable, staff friendly and helpful, and a 1 minute walk to the "Pergola" restaurant and Jazz club! Perfect for a stay in Marrakech. Highly recommended.

We had a family holiday here and it was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were great, the common spaces were comfortable and inviting, the location was great, close to the excitement, but tucked away enough that it's very peaceful and quiet. I'd go back here in an instant. The hosts and staff were genuinely friendly, helpful and welcoming, they really made us feel at home and went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The pool was a bit cold, but clean and lovely.

Fantastic Riad located in the heart of Marrakesh with great staff and a great breakfast!

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights.

The Riad is located in a quiet little alley just a 5 minute walk from the main square!

When you walk in the main door, you are greeted by a traditional and colourful interior with a beautiful little pool in the centre.
There are lots of colourful pillows as well as a fireplace downstairs which was lit every night! There is also an upstairs seating area, as well as a rooftop with two sun beds and a table with chairs.

The bedroom was small and simple but did the job! There was heating and air conditioning in the room which was great.
Unfortunately the bathroom was a bit rundown and the shower temperature kept fluctuating. There was also no soap in the bathroom.

The breakfast in the morning was really good. Lots of fruit, pancakes, croissants, jams and yogurts all served up by one of the lovely staff members! This was always a great start to the morning.
There’s also complimentary tea and coffee available throughout the day.

There’s also the option to have dinner at the Riad. We didn’t avail of this but handy to know it’s there!

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The first thing they did when we arrived was make us a traditional tea before showing us to the room! This was a nice touch.
They also help you to book any tours if you need.

One of the staff members, Moha, was very kind and helpful. He even played us some of his favourite songs on his guitar and we had a singalong with him by the fire which was such a great experience! Thanks again Moha!

You can also avail of bottles of wine for €15 in the Riad which is great as it’s hard to purchase alcohol in the area.

Finally just to say, we arranged for the Riad to collect us from the airport for €15 which was handy as the riad is hard to find at first (it’s easy to find once you know the way) but it’s worth knowing that you can get a taxi for as little as €5! We arranged our own taxi back to the airport and paid 50 Durham (around five euro).

My wife, two kids (11 and 14) and I stayed at Riad Zahri for two nights as we began our 6 day tour in Morocco and it was a perfect start.

Some things we loved were the rooms were clean and everything beautifully decorated, the breakfasts gave the family a great start of the day before heading out and we really loved the location.

The owner met our driver to help us find the Riad, as we were arriving late at night. The staff was friendly, Wi-Fi was actually the best there of any of our following Riads. We also enjoyed a bit of time on the roof overlooking city.

I would recommend staying at Riad Zahri.

The guys running the place Hassan and Mohamad are probably the best hosts we have encountered in our lives. They would have a friendly chat every time they see you and use every chance to give you great tips on how to spend your time. Their berber hospitality clearly exceeds expectations and one can always feel at home. On our last night at 11 pm, prior to a early morning flight the next day, Hassan went out to print our boarding passes as their printer was out of service and we had them in the morning.
The riad itself is a cosy well maintained and very well located place delivering a great sense of tradition and comfort. Our room named Merzouga was simply gorgeous. Only thing we did not like were the overly stuffed pillows and the hard bed. To be honest I am sure that had we asked for different pillows Hassan and Mohamad would have delivered.
Marrakesh is not our place, however should we ever go back there we would definitely stay at Riad Zahri.

Beautiful Riad with cozy rooms, staff was nice and helpful and we felt really welcome and safe. Also close to Jemaa el Fna, but still quiet as it‘s located in a small side street.

Clean and cozy. A bit on a quiet street about 1min from all the rush. The host explained basics of surviving among all the sellers in medina - never happened in Morocco. Big thumbs up.
BTW came here because I was shocked buy other riad and now my first priority is clean.

In between the main square and the Palace only couple minutes walk nice typical moroccan vibe and a swimming pool

One the best riad in marrakech medina. Lovely architecture and amazing luxury rooms. All the best.

Localização perfeita, dentro da Madina, a 3 minutos a pé da Praça Jemaa el-Fnaa.
Muito bom pequeno almoço, bastante diversificado.

Alojarnos en este Riad marcó la diferencia en nuestro viaje a Marrakech. La hospitalidad del personal realmente te hace sentir como en casa, mención especial a Jonas y Abdul. Desayuno abundante y riquísimo. Habitación cómoda y espaciosa. Ubicación cerca de todos los atractivos turísticos. Un 10/10.

Le séjour a été exceptionnel, nous avons été très bien accueillies par Youness et tout le personnel a été au petit soin avec nous. Nous nous sommes senties comme à la maison 🙂 le riad est très beau, la chambre aussi et le lit était très confortable. Tout est très propre, l'endroit est calme et le petit déjeuner bon et copieux. Je vous recommande fortement cet endroit!

Nous avons séjournés dans le Riad Zahri du 9 au 18 septembre. Nous sommes arrivés le lendemain du tremblement de terre.
Tout c'est super bien passé. L'équipe est présente pour nous aider, nous guider. Ils sont tous très gentils, le petit dej est copieux et bon.
Je pense que c'est le meilleur service qu'on a jamais reçu dans un hôtel.
Un excellent rapport qualité-prix.
Une belle terrasse sur le toit avec la vue sur la Médina et le minaret de la Koutoubia. En plus vous êtes à 5 minutes de la place principale tout en étant au calme.
Allez-y, vous ne le regretterez pas
