Riad Dar Darma

We had a fantastic time at Riad Dar Darma. The rooms are beautiful, the beds were comfortable and the staff, especially Hisham were so helpful.
The whole place is stunningly beautiful, tastefully decorated and very stylish. We would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. It almost feels like stepping into someone’s private home. Initially tempted to book somewhere else, but as soon as I saw Dar Darma, it was love at first sight.
The blue suite is absolutely beautiful and the riad is so unique.
Staff is attentive and super kind, the atmosphere is relaxed and the area so peaceful (despite it being in the heart of the medina). Absolutely recommended! 10 stars and more

This hotel was a pleasant find in the heart of Medinah and near all the shopping for the locals and tourists. The staffs (Maria, Hisham, Mohamed, and Yasin) were amazing and made my family felt welcome and safe the moment we came off the train station. The hotel room we stayed in was beyond our expectation and was great to have 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms for our teenage girls with some privacy. Thank you all at Dar Darma and for certain it will be our destination on our next visit to Marrakech, Morocco.

cannot express how wonderful it was to stay here. although a little hard to find initially (off the main road down an alley) the staff were amazing and came out to find us. we stayed in the red suite which was lovely. perfectly centred in the middle of everything to have your fill of culture but also quiet and serene inside. although i have nothing bad to say about the hotel the best part was definitely the staff. smiling and friendly at all times, so attentive and cannot do enough for you plus the food was gorgeous and enough for at least 7 when we were a table of 4!

We visited the Riad Dar Darma for a lunch break. The Italian style of the hotel is really impressive and special - worth a visit! We had a warm welcome and Mohamed was so kind and did a really good service for us. He gave us some information about the place & the hotel and the food was traditional and so delicious. We really recommend that place!

Each morning, I would make my way to the rooftop terrace and indulge in a delightful feast prepared by the talented Ghizlan. The tagine egg over tomato sauce was a particular highlight, bursting with flavors and spices that awakened my senses. The combination of the delicious food, the warm sunlight, and the panoramic views made for a truly unforgettable dining experience.

The exceptional service provided by the staff at Dar Darma further enhanced my stay. Ismail, with his kind and helpful nature, was always ready to assist with a smile on his face. Whether it was offering recommendations for local attractions or ensuring my comfort during my stay, his genuine hospitality made me feel truly welcomed.

Esham, the heart and soul of Dar Darma, went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. From the moment I arrived, he made me feel at home, taking care of my every need and ensuring that I had a truly authentic Moroccan experience. His attention to detail and commitment to providing exceptional service were evident in every interaction, leaving me with a sense of gratitude and appreciation.

I highly recommend staying in the Medina to fully immerse yourself in the vibrant culture of Marrakech, and if you choose to do so, Dar Darma is the perfect choice. Dar Darma was fabulous! This easily surpasses 4 star hotels. The value is amazing for how gorgeous and immaculate it is and the service is unmatched. Staying here was the highlight of my trip!

If ever you're travelling to Marrakech, Dar Darma Riad is the place to stay. Total elegance, luxury and tranquility, in a busy city. The service was impeccable and the surroundings were truly sumptuous. Nothing was too much trouble for the amazing staff.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and will be coming back, God willing.

I rarely write reviews but this special place deserves it. Not a first-timer in Marrakech, I visited this riad with a small group of friends. Dar Darma is an elegant and sophisticated riad. A real oasis of peace in the chaotic medina. The huge rooms (suites) and common areas are breathtaking still not intimidating or formal in any way. The rooftop is a great place to chill out, have breakfast, drink some mint tea or simply take a break between the visits around Marrakech. Hicham, Maria and all the staff welcomed us and made us feel at home right from the beginning of our visit, helped us throughout our stay and basically fullfilled any request we had. Opted for an inhouse dinner which was absolutely great. Will definitely book there next time I’m in Marrakech.

Unlike any other place I've stayed. So beautiful and a tranquil oasis from the busy chaotic streets. Gorgeous interiors, great staff, comfortable bed and spacious room. What else could I want on a trip?

From the moment they opened the door and brought us inside, the experience was nothing but wonderful!!! Maria, Esham and the cooks were like family by the time we left. They served us a breakfast and dinner that would be fit for royalty on the rooftop cabana. They worried about our finding our way thru the maze of streets and sent guides to help us. Our room was an authentic Arabian palace and we had privacy and our own key to enter our suite anytime. What a wonderful trip to Marrakesh all made perfect by Riad Dar Darma!!!!

This Hotel you just must have seen otherwise you don't believe it. Such a beauty in the middle of the Medina.
There are only 6 Suits, all individual designed, we had the amazing Mirror Suite. All very clean, we felt very welcome.
The Staff, especially Sahid, where very nice. They offered Tee, some Snack, provide us with Ideas, all very polite and very kind! Thank you for that.
As it is in the middle of the Medina, 5 min walk from the Rahba Lakdima (Market and Souks) cars can't arrived in front of the Hotel.
On the roof you find 2 smaller pools and a lounge with a spectacular view over Marrakech
A Shuttle brought us as far he could get, the our suitcases where taken over by a man, and he guided us to the Hotel. As it was already late and dark, it was quite an adventure but you don't wanna miss that!
The breakfast was amazing and as we booked on short notice and didn't know what to expect we booked also dinner in the Dar Darma.
If you are not sure: eat in the Hotel, it are homemade dishes and one was nicer as the other. Thank you very much Maria!
From the Hotel it's only a 5 min walk to "the Souk" a market where you can shop till you drop. People will try to show you the way for some cash. First you pass the normal Food Market, then you arrive at a Market with in the right corner you enter to the covered market (there is a ATM for Cash, make sure you take some cash at the Airport), where you find even more Stores. On the Market into the Left corner you arrive tho the big square.
