L'mida Marrakech

We had a lovely time and enjoyed the food here. Loved even finding the restaurant, the entrance and then to the rooftop at sunset was just so special. Service was slower to start but was during Ramadan so we were happy to be patient and was in no rush to go. The view and atmosphere kept us entertained. The cocktails were delicious I had the beetroot one. The starters were lovely and so were the mains. The tagine was okay, all the dishes were presented beautifully. I think the tagine lacked something but half way through I was offered some hot sauce which gave it a good punch. Really enjoyed it and would go back.

We went there earlier than 1pm and got seated immediately (my advice: either rock up on the earlier side or make a reservation!). The waitress was so caring and the overall service was lovely! The food was delicious, flavoursome, and incredibly well made! I really recommend this restaurant as a reliable dining option, which doesn't cost an arm and a leg (I.e. this is not a tourist trap!) and also being situated in the middle of the souks. Simply gorgeous, don't wait, go now!

Excellent eaterie, very good value for money. Lovely mocktails, delicious food (I would recommend the chicken skewers). We will have eaten here 3 times by the end of our holiday.

Alcohol is not served, but there is no downside to this, as the atmosphere is great anyway.

Ideally booking is recommended, especially if you would like a table on the terrace.

The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous, and as with so many Moroccans, nothing is too much trouble.

Finish off your meal with ice cream, the chocolate flavour is fantastic.

Love love love! The scenery and ambiance are breathtaking. We visited on a Wednesday evening, easily secured a rooftop seat, but it gets busy, so consider booking. Tried the fish tagine—bursting with flavours—and the potatoes on the side were equally delicious. The continuous supply of fresh bread was a nice touch. They accept card payments here.

My fiancée and me made a reservation for 4 pm @L'mida Marrakech. It is a chic and trendy moroccan table restaurant in the heart of the medina indeed. We both are traveling Morocco fir the first time and our 2 weeks vacation almost comes to an end. We Both had quite some great foods being served to us in this time but this has been so far the best. Wow 😮. In combination with the great service they provide and the view over the snowcovered Atlas Mountains at Sunset is just unbeatable. Thanks to the Chef Nargisse Benkabbou and his crew and the whole staff at L’Mida making sure to keep Marrakech and their cuisine in our hearts when being home dreaming ourselves back to this magical evening we had on 27th March 2024. I went twice both lunch & dinner in the weekday & booking was not necessary. The staffs were very gentle & accommodating. Food and drinks were very tasteful. I tried the lamb and fish tajine both were wonderfully cooked & presented. I would like more quantity of the lamb though may be I liked it too much or was too hungry! Terrace is nicely decorated with a view over Medina.

Gorgeous restaurant. The waiter we had was well versed in gluten-free and able to help us find the gluten free options. He even knew that soy sauce had gluten (unless it is gluten-free). I had chicken teriyaki and roasted cauliflower. I didn’t like the cauliflower. I thought it would be crispy. The chicken and salad were delicious. All of the mocktails looked so good that I ordered 2. Lemon mint water and cucumber, coriander and mint. My family tried my drinks and ended up drinking all of them because they were so delicious. We also ordered ice coffees and they were delicious. I didn’t even get milk in my coffee and it was great. Maybe they added sugar without telling me 🤭. Not sure.

Everything was amazing. From the food, the view and the service we received. The woman at the desk managed to get us a rooftop seating since we was placed inside, which was amazing. Our server Nabil was amazing, always making sure everything was perfect for us. Also I suggest you get the carrot cake, the portion of it was very big.

Cool place! Amazing food and nice decor/setting. One of the best meals we had in Marrakesh! Would really recommend popping by! The starters were amazing same as mains, the tajine was very traditional yet so flavoursome unlike in other places in Morroco. Must visit! Was a bit overcrowded by the entrance and the whole restaurant was super full, but I guess it is a very popular eating spot. The service was on point & very friendly.

Delicious food! Well worth a visit and so glad we managed to get a booking for our final night. Highly recommend the chicken skewers and lamb. The harissa and miso coleslaw was also incredible. We finished with a Beautiful fresh Moroccan mint tea! A must visit :)

Great food, view, and atmosphere. The only downside is that they were not serving alcohol otherwise perfect. The decoration of the venue is beautiful. Very friendly service.

Great service and friendly staff. Fantastic view and perfect temperature. We had the aubergine starter, veggie pastilla and the lamb main dish had a delicious mint sauce 🌿 would love to visit back if I ever go back to Marrakech

It has a very nice terrace. The food is delicious and service is courteous and friendly. I had the beef tagine. The beef morsels melt in your mouth. And the mock cocktail is a must.

Great place with a lovely staff and amazing food! We loved everything we had and came back for more. High quality dishes based on quality ingredients - some of the best dishes we had in Marrakech! Definitely make a reservation and try out the rooftop :)

Service is impeccable, really nice and professional team.

Unlike other popular places in medina, this one was really good! Rest of popular places we found in online guides were overrated, and this one is fab.

We didn't get a seat on the terrace, but there was a table inside even during a rush hour.

I got a really good tuna poke, we also had chicken skewers and hummus. All were nice!

If I could give more than 5 stars I definitely would - the food is extraordinary, the service is great and quick, the atmosphere just perfect. The chicken skewers were so delicious I would have gotten more. So so so recommended

We ate delicious food on a very aesthetic rooftop! The chicken skewers and the gnocchi in particular was very tasty, as well as the monkfish curry. The staff were very friendly and warm as well - we really enjoyed the atmosphere of the place.

Had a lovely dinner on our first night in Marrakech! The food had great flavours and was presented beautifully! The service was a little slow, but very friendly, would definitely recommend for anyone looking for an upmarket spot in the medina!

A perfect meal from start to finish. Kind, friendly and knowledgeable waiter. The food was out of this world. The setting was modern, cosy and beautifully decorated. We will be back before we go home on Monday!

The best restaurant in Marrakech!! So many delicious options and drinks! Beautiful space indoor and outdoor. For drinks I tried the Mhraba and Bessaha. For food I tried the beetroot salad, zalouk, and burrata ; vegetarian pastilla, and gnocchi Berber. Miso and harissa slaw is fab also. Everything was absolutely amazing! They do get packed fyi. Service is really great too!
