I would say it’s the best hotel I’ve ever been. Especially if you love horses, you must visit it.
Friendly staff, full attention to every guest and feeling like you are the only guest in the hotel while it’s fully-booked. Nice territory and amazing signature experiences. Signature breakfast worth its money, it was amazing

The service is top notch, showing just right level of attention and respecting your privacy. Just what you need to escape from the busy hot streets of Moroccan medina. Only if the rooms were a bit more spacious…

Amazing!! Truly. The property is absolutely stunning. There are stables where you can visit and meet the horses. We were there on a day there was no horse show but someone else hired a private show which we could see outside out villa. We were told not to watch...because it was a private show which seemed kind of ridiculous because the show was right behind our villa. We shared the 2 bedroom Villa and it was huge with a private pool which was nice because it was 107° when we were there. It's a quiet place. The spa was wonderful and we all had amazing spa experience. Tea service with traditional moroccan tea would have been nice. There was fresh fruit, nut assortment, dates bottled water each day. You feel like your sleeping in a luxurious tent! It was glorious minus the horse show part. But that was clearly the ego of the people that ordered the show and dinner. You're in a resort. It's not going to be exclusively private. Ijs.

The absolute most magical place in Marrakech. This hotel is like no other. Beautiful grounds and the most stunning horses. Ismael and the team go above and beyond to accommodate the guests and visitors to make every experience very special. What a memorable team and fantastic option. A must stay!!!!

Long story, but please read on. My husband and I arrived at Marrakech excited and nervous for our son and new daughter-in-law’s Moroccan wedding ceremony, after a beautiful ceremony in the States. We made it all the way from North Carolina, USA but our luggage did not, after weeks of careful curation of the perfect outfits. Uggh! A Selman Marrakech driver was waiting at the airport to take us to our luxurious accommodations and it was so easy. Then, after more than an hour on the phone with American Airlines about our lost luggage and a third call to Verizon about my International plan not being added, I was ready to go back home. Instead, we scheduled an authentic Hammam experience at Selman Marrakech, followed by a message, and our world suddenly looked brighter. Seriously, the best message ever. I had no comparison for the Hammam but I can’t imagine it could have been better. We meandered around the gorgeous grounds and the stables full of amazing Arabians and then had dinner overlooking the beautiful pool. At every turn, beginning at our arrival, the service at Selman was first class! My next big stressor was looking for the perfect dress for the upcoming wedding and I was at a loss. I had contacted Selman concierge previously and they were going to arrange for their car to take me to a couple of stores the day after our arrival. Even better, however, the owner of Selman Marrakech was relaxing on the terrace while we were dining. I thought - who better to ask where to shop for the perfect mother of the groom dress! So, I did. She was dressed so elegant and she was so very gracious and helpful. She arranged for the the boutique at Selman Marrakech to be opened right then. She accompanied me to try on a few dresses, offering her much needed opinion. I found the perfect dress and earrings, granted at a premium price, but this was a premium dress with far superior service. The dress was handmade and so stunning. I found coordinating earrings and again, life was much brighter in the midst of missing luggage! But it doesn’t end there. Our wonderful waiter, mentioned to his manager we didn’t have luggage, and bathroom necessities were delivered to our room in short order. I cannot express enough my gratitude for the kindness shown to us on our very first day at Selman Marrakech. I’m not sure you will find better in the world. I would recommend Selman Marrakech to anyone traveling to Marrakech. Only negative is you might miss much ofMarrakech, because you don’t want to leave Selman!

This place is almost unreal. It is Majestically magical . The attention to details is meticulous. The luxury is seemingly effortless. We had a villa and that was the best decision I have taken in a long time.

This is my favourite hotel in Marrakech. The pool is amazing, the entire hotel is beautifully decorated and they have the most beautiful Arabian horses you can ride or just admire . I think the decor of this place is so much nicer than other hotels like La Mamounia for example .
I received the best service during my stay and you don’t really need to even leave the hotel if you don’t feel like it - they have it all .
I will be returning with my mum one day .

I had the most amazing experience at the Selman Hotel this Ramadan. From the moment I arrived, Salima Tazi made me feel so welcome. She took care of all the reservations and was instrumental in ensuring we had a wonderful evening.

Salima was so helpful and friendly and really made sure we had the best evening possible. She set up the most beautiful table for ten people in a special place and made sure everything was perfect for us. The horse show and Ramadan tent were absolutely stunning, and made for the perfect backdrop to our iftar.

Thank you Salima for making our evening so special. I highly recommend the Selman Hotel for an unforgettable Ramadan iftar experience.

Very high end luxury hotel, great service and amazing architecture.

The place is amazing and very good quality/price for Marrakech. The service is very good and the Horses are great! The only problem they will charge you same price for a room with very bad view on the back. Ask carefully if the pool view room is a available!

Having stayed close to the Medina at the start of our trip, we stayed at The Selman for three nights at the end of the trip. The hotel is a ten minute taxi ride from the Medina. The hotel is stunning. The pictures don’t quite do it justice. From the moment we arrived we didn’t want to leave. Our room was beautiful and included a separate seating area as well as a large terrace with wonderful areas to either sit at a table or lounge on a huge daybed. As beautiful as the hotel is, the staff were wonderful. Breakfast was really enjoyable in the beautiful restaurant. Pool and pool service all were wonderful. Do take time to go and visit the stables to see the magnificent Arabian horses.

Outstanding hospitality, rooms, staff especially Mr. Abdulrazzaq. The owner madam Najat Bennani is the CEO who has been supernice and hands-on managing the needs of guests.

Very family oriented, beautiful garden, spa and hammam.

You get to enjoy seeing beautiful Arabian horses, mandarin trees and olive trees in the garden.

The architecture is super authentic Moroccan style.

Every morning there is open buffet of breakfasts of both Moroccan and continental breakfast with amazing Moroccan bread and delicious olive oil/ Argan oil. The ambience is so refreshing in the morning with nice Moroccan music.

We had ordered Moroccan food dinner time of Tanjia, Tajine and delicious Moroccan Salads.

Conceirge service helped us in arranging our daily tour in the old Madina.

Heaven on earth with the most beautiful architectural representations of great taste, magical horses and stables , but the staff are the best and gentlest people I’ve ever seen in all my travels

The location for our wedding couldn't have been more amazing and magical than at the Selman. The location itself is just beautiful and warm. We feel like coming home when we go to the Selman. Also the staff functions as one big family. The level of service is uncomparible with any other five star hotel we've stayed in Marrakech, it is outstanding!
Our guests were absolutely amazed by the hotel and by how they were welcomed there. The style of the hotel, the theme of the horses with also the stables on the premises, it all adds to the magic of this place.
The food in all of their restaurants is also amazing. If you are there on a Sunday, try their brunch, it will blow you of your feet.
If you are considering to do your wedding in Marrakech, make sure you take a very good look at this place. You will not disappoint your guests with this choice :-)

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in .and we have been lucky enough to enjoy some top hotels in the world . You feel amazing here, the level of detail is Amazing .I love that the hotel is centred on there beautiful Arabian horses which we where lucky enough to see between our delicious evening meal

The welcome and overall service is exceptional. It is a quiet, understated yet attentive service that brings you to a full stop for a relaxing vacations. Plenty of sports activities related to water such as kayaking, paddle boarding and surfing. Food at the restaurant is exceptional. However, there is no town or city to go to for a visit or an alternative outing. This is a location meant for relaxing and detox. Three nights is the perfect length of stay. My only suggestion would be for the hotel to add a kettle in the room for making tea or coffee.

One of the best placess in Marrakech. Nice staff, the owner is always around with nice smile. Selman is full of hourses and they offer my kids a hourse to ride. I like it for relaxing and diffently I will consider it next time.

I cannot begin to describe all of the glory of Selman Marrakech! Upon arrival we were blown away by the beauty and wonderful touches. The service was impeccable. Our room was stunning. The pool was the perfect escape after spending four days in the Medina. Everything about Selman was a dream. Thank you.

This hotel completely exceeded our expectations. The level of service from when we entered the property to when we left was second to none. Notibly, Adil who worked at the bar made us feel like we were at home and catered to our every need and every request was met with the highest level of professionalism and service. We will continue to recommend the Selman hotel and cannot wait for our next adventures in Morrocco at this amazing hotel.
