Riad Zaouia 44

The riad is very beautiful and the service is wonderful. Imad and Mohammed were very attentive and super nice. The breakfast is varied everyday and delicious. The location is in a more quiet and local area of the Medina. Also, a car can approach the very discreet back door, which is very convenient. Highly recommend!

ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL!!

Had a very enjoyable stay at this riad- the courtyard full of beautiful greenery and a small pool feels so very peaceful and soothing, providing a complete shield from the rush&madness of Marrakech streets! :)
The room was also lovely (stayed in Menzeh Jour Suite)- many authentic architectural features but not ‘over the top’, which was a great fit for us. Very Spacious, comfortable and practical.

The staff were all absolutely lovely and caring; looking after us very well! Namely Mohamed- the House Manager was fantastic!! Very friendly and helpful- he helped us arrange various things such as private guide, trip to desert, etc. even prior arrival; transportation and overall support with getting around or anything you may need once arrived; and caring- he would personally wait until all his guests return to the riad late at night to ensure everyone gets the support they might need, quite unseen! Mohamed is an absolute superstar and a great asset to the business!
Overall a wonderful experience, absolutely recommended and would definitely come back!!

It's a fantastic riad with a very familiar and friendly feeling. The staff was incredibly attentive, the room was cozy and clean, and the food was super tasty. We can only recommend it!

I had an excellent stay in Riad Zaouia 44. Our two hosts, Mohamed and Mohamed, were extremely hospitable and helped us with any queries we had. This was especially helpful as I was travelling in a group of three women and we were made to feel incredibly safe throughout our whole stay. The breakfast, which was included in our stay, was delicious and a great bonus to the already great location and service the riad provides. I also loved the terrace which has great views. Strongly recommend!

One of the best spots in Marrakech. Amazing people working there, very polite and helpful. I've visited couple of Riads and I can admit- this one for value is the best. Totally clean, smells fresh and sweet, breakfast is always nice and simple, staff always offers tea. The inside garden is always open and the basin inside is just cute and wonderful, you can also see the sky. Totally worth the money. Mo the Manager is the best person which I met. Sir must get a payrise, great recommendation for him. Loved the honesty there as you can really trust people there.

We were given this riad as an alternative when the one we had booked had to undergo emergency works days out from our stay. What a blessing in disguise. Great location away from the craziness but only a short walk to everywhere you need to go, included breakfast was amazing, and the room was great.

The real star of the show, however, is Mohamed. He went above and beyond day in and day out to make us feel welcome and comfortable. I would, and did, even go so far as to say he was my favourite thing about Marrakesh.

Cannot recommend this place enough.

Myself and my friends were initially nervous about coming to Marrakesh as young women in a smaller group, but this instantly went away as soon as we arrived in the Riad.

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by our amazing guide Mohamed who went above and beyond for us throughout our entire stay. Mohamed was incredibly warm and friendly and always accommodating to any queries we had and always made sure we were safe and went above and beyond to make sure we knew about all the tourist scams etc. Thank you Mohamed for your amazing help.

Breakfast is included which is amazing value as it is a delicious spread of a traditional Moroccan breakfast with plenty of mint tea! We also ate dinner in the Riad one of the nights which was super delicious.

Private airport transfers at a reasonable price can be organised for you to and from the airport which is super assuring when arriving in a strange country at night time.

We had a very lovely stay at Zaouia 44. A nicely spartan designed hotel situated a little off the beaten track, but certainly great value for money!
The hotel staff, with Mohamed in particular made us feel at home from the first secondes we entered the facility. Mohamed is definitely one of kind and would fit perfectly as a host in a 5 star superior plus hotel anticipating on all our needs. Thanks again!

Very nice Riad. Very still full. A bit far away from the caos of the souk. Not so many tourist around here.

This place was amazing. Beautiful garden, excellent roof top area and the best service. Mhamad was very friendly and nice to talk to. We would recommend this place to anyone visitting the northern part of Marrakech. Love Mathilde and Christian

Amazing Riad with beautiful architecture, decor and peaceful nature inside. Very clean rooms, very kind and helpful hotel staff, nice terrace. Tasty breakfast and good wine :)

We didn't initially book at Riad Zaouia 44 for our stay, but were placed there when our originally booked riad contacted us to tell us that they hadn't been cleared for occupancy yet since the earthquake. Honestly, we probably wouldn't have chosen Riad Zaouia 44 based on the pictures, which looked a little plain and sterile compared to other riads with more colorful and detailed pictures. But WOW. How wrong we would have been, This Riad was GORGEOUS and had such a feeling of luxury. Our host, Mohamed, was so accommodating and kind. A wonderful example of Moroccan hospitality. The guest rooms/bathrooms are spacious and comfortable. The courtyard is lush with greenery and feels like an oasis from the busy, dusty city streets. This Riad is a little difficult to find, but worth the effort. Thank you Mohamed, for a wonderful stay!

We stayed for a weekend and the experience was perfect. Beautiful and cozy riad. The staff was also really nice and helpful and breakfast delicious. Would definitely repeat.
