Wow. What a beautiful Riad and memorable stay. From the moment the staff greeted us at our car to the moment they left us we had an unbelievable time. The staff couldn’t do enough. They arranged a cake for my birthday at breakfast and made our stay so memorable. Breakfast was lovely and we had drinks on the rooftop. The room was amazing and the view to the courtyard is spectacular. The vibes, food and staff were perfect. Rachid was so lovely and helpful. Don’t let the reviews about the surroundings put you off. Walking distance to all of the sights and relaxing at the riad after all the madness of Marrakesh was what we needed. We even got to briefly meet Bobby the dog. 🐕

The atmosphere of the place is amazing. Riad feels like an oasis of calmness. Breakfast on the rooftop, option to lit fireplace in the room, beautiful interior details, classical music in the salon. The staff is helpful and friendly and makes you feel at home. Special thanks to Karim and Mohamed for the hospitality! There is an option to book a massage, which is great, highly recommend it.

Kbour & Chou is 100% worth every penny. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Breakfast is delicious. Great wines. Beautiful rooms. Highly recommend!!!

Tip: You need to get past the fact that it’s really tucked away in an alley, making it hard to imagine you’re going to the right place. The second you find it, it’s an oasis within the old city. Don’t let it sway your decision.

Staying at Riad Kbour Chou in Marrakech was an absolute dream. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were enveloped in the warm embrace of both artistry and hospitality. Every corner felt like a masterpiece, as if we were living in a living, breathing art gallery.

But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the incredible team. They weren't just staff; they were a family. Their genuine care and attention to detail made us feel like cherished guests every moment of our stay.

And then, on my husband's birthday, they went above and beyond. The surprise cake and flowers they arranged were the epitome of thoughtfulness. It's those little touches that make Riad Kbour Chou stand out as more than just a place to stay; it's a place where memories are made, and hearts are touched.

Moreover, the peace that permeated every corner of Riad Kbour & Chou was truly remarkable. Amidst the bustling town of Marrakech, this riad felt like a sanctuary. Despite not having a view from the rooftop, it still offered us a much-needed escape from the town's hustle and bustle, allowing us to unwind and recharge in serene surroundings.

Incredible riad just outside the centre of the medina within walking distance of everything. Stunning interiors, truly a tranquil oasis with amazing staff who go above and beyond. The traditional tagines and salads we ate here was the best of our whole trip, and the breakfast each day was delicious. Truly couldn’t recommend more, you will feel so safe and relaxed here!

I’ve loved every single detail of this riad. It is simply very beautiful and soooo stylish! From the owner to the frog in the pond everything was perfect! Standing ovation for the breakfast served over the long wooden table on a rainy morning… candles in the morning, I loved it!

I have been to Morocco plenty of times, but this is the most wonderful riad I have ever stayed at. So peaceful, very quiet and a great area! It's in the Medina but in a not so touristy, more calm area, which is lovely to walk around. It's about a 25 min fun walk to Jamelfnza.
Big thanks to the amazing staff. Mona, Naziha, Karim, Jacques and the others, who made us feel so welcome.
Last but not least, the food, waaw!! Definitely eat dinner here if you can, and the breakfast is the best I have ever had.
Can't recommend this riad enough!!

Hidden within some dusty, narrow alleys, you’ll arrive at a small wooden gate. Once you open its doors, you’ll instantly find yourself in an immersive fairytale.
The riad court breathes a calm, intimate yet elegant atmosphere, with impressive trees, plants and a little pond -all gently lit out.
The arrival/dining room on the ground floor immediately introduces you to the owners’ conceptual approach concerning the ambiance. Carefully selected vintage elements from Morocco’s rich architectural heritage -playfully combined with classical Christian symbolic- dress up the contemporary designed spacious rooms. Surrounded by artisanal carpentry, wooden panels, vintage zellige tiles, niches, fireplaces, mosaic, bamboo ceilings, mirrors and many other details, it appears as if you’re suddenly placed within a 1920’s romantic movie.
All bedrooms have their individual characteristics in terms of size, colors, elements, but they do have one thing in common; a truly intimate ambiance where every little detail is well thought through. The rooftop terraces are equally brilliant; multiple areas have been created to enjoy privacy if desired, but incase you’re traveling with a group of individuals the friendly staff can easily transform an area accordingly, for drinks or dinner. From the terrace, you’ll be able to view over Marrakech in all directions and incase you need to cool down, a modest, yet tasteful traditional plunge pool has not been forgotten.
Since the more than friendly Belgian owners have been living in Marrakech for over 20 years, they’ll happily advise you on request on all sorts of spots really worthwhile visiting, albeit cultural, recreational or gastronomic.
Concerning the latter, you can safely assume that the attention for detail at K’dour & Chou is also represented within its culinary approach. The breakfast is impressively generous and varied and if you decide to book diner there as well; your expectations on ‘authentic Moroccan cuisine’ will most likely be exceeded. We were truly overwhelmed by the wealth of delicate flavors, the subtle use of spices and charcoal, and the cuisson of all dishes -while our definition of ‘medium’ in Morocco usually turns out as 2x ‘well done’, unfortunately. 😃
Summarized: we feel privileged having discovered this hidden precious gem where the finer things in life are both cherished and celebrated…we will definitely be back. Choukran!

The place is very well located, very accessible. The staff is friendly and Jacques the owner is fantastic. The rooms are wide and spacious so are the bathrooms. Food is plenty and well prepared. We will go back anytime.

Wonderfully romantic riad with great staff. You feel like a member of the family. The location is in the north of the medina. You stay with the locals and can reach the touristy part of the medina within a few minutes on foot

I highly recommend this Riad! Here is a hidden gem! It is close to the center but really quiet and genuine area. The riad is so cozy and well-decorated. The staff service was nice. Thanks to them, I have a good memory of Marrakech. I stayed in two different rooms and both were lovely. Breakfast was so delicious. I am not normally a breakfast person but I was looking for breakfast every day :) I definitely stay here again when I come back to Marrakech.

Just amazing! Design, calmness, massage, breakfast, dinner, hosts (Jacque), staff, everything was just perfect. Felt like an oasis. Best stay I ever had. Would 100% recommend it. And we will for sure come back again!

Had a short but very pleasant stay at Riad Kbour & Chou. The guys working there are lovely and patient and took really good care of us, even if we were late or ordered crepes 5 times a day. The owner is also very friendly and gave us a lot of information about what to see around here. The ladies are very discrete, my room and the Riad in general was always clean. There's also Bobby the dog, who is a good boy, and the cat and the turtles. Leaving actually upset me a lot. I hope the kittens are both alright ❤ clear recommendations for this beautiful Riad. I couldn’t fault Riad Kbour & Chou. They were so warm and welcoming throughout our stay. The riad is in a quieter part of the medina , about a 15/20 minute walk into the centre. Every inch of the riad is beautifully decorated. The staff are wonderful and I would recommend this place to anyone.

Marrakesh can be intense so finding this peaceful haven was a perfect counterbalance! The charm of this very special place is matched only by the staff. We stayed in the Biban suit but there are 6 other beautiful rooms I'd love to experience.

This is a fantastic Riad.

It is ran by two Belgians that understand the true meaning of hospitality as well as the fine art of making guests feel welcome before even entering the premises.

We stayed here in January so the fact that the rooms come with a real fireplace was a big plus. No need to breathe dry air, heated by the AC.

A fantastic, continental breakfast is included in the room rate.

We truly enjoyed our time here and look forward to our next stay in Marrakesh, surely at Riad Kbour & Chou again!

This riad is the best way to experience Marrakech. Each room is individually designed to perfection. The stay from start to finish was incredible, with the hotel helping to arrange activities for us such as a private yoga session, excursions, great tips for shopping and a Moroccan cookery class. The breakfast is great! We also had dinner in the restaurant; which was fab. A few minutes walk to the souks, a real must to discover the real charm of the medina, highly recommended.

Riad Kbour & Chou is a lovely paradise in the heart of Marrakech. The hosts are really amazing: welcoming, caring, funny, it is a real pleasure to stay with them. They know a lot about the city, good food, art, books, the countryside,... They can give you all the information you need for a wonderful stay in Morocco. The riad is hidden away at the back of some small alleys but once you enter the front door, you are in a lush green and architectural gem. The breakfast is also amazing! I would really recommend to stay here if you look for a beautiful, tranquil and heartwarming stay in Marrakech. I will definitely go back :)
