Lovely shop, would definitely recommend to stop by if your visiting midelt. We came here to have lunch and met the owner. He told us a lot about his business, so we just had to see the carpets. Beautiful shop and carpets

We can’t thank Rasheed enough for his hospitality! He is one of the best people we’ve met in Morocco. He showed us around Midelt and we had the opportunity to go to his carpet show, where he explained how the carpets were made and the culture behind it.

An amazing person and a great place with amazing qualities rugs & carpets. For any tourist passing through, I recommend this wholeheartedly.

We visited Maison Berbere today and had a lovely chat with Mohammed. He explained everything about the carpets which are traditionally made by his Berber family. They use quality materials to make the carpets like sheep’s wool and camel hair. We enjoyed the information about the oldest carpet in the store, this is an art piece in itself! Mohammed is a great sales man but he is absolutely not pushy, this makes me really recommend the store to other people!

A great shop showcasing handmade rugs, clothing and jewellery. Prices are all reasonable and Hassan was very welcoming and not pushy. There are some unique pieces in the shop and we did buy some silver earrings and a rug - the rug's design was unlike anything we had seen in other stores and we are very happy with it.

Recommended stop!! Wonderful Rasheed, and what a beautiful Berber house. We enjoyed talking to him about all the nomad traditions, including handcrafts. He has so much knowledge about carpets. Such a beautiful encounter.. see you soon !

My friends and I really enjoyed talking to Rasheed. He kindly shared with us many interesting reflections on his culture. His collection was lovely and authentic. My mother now enjoys the head scarf I bought for her. Thank you Rasheed.

I cannot describe the kindness of the owner who showed us around his shop and explained the meaning of the details on the carpets. We ended up buying each of our scarves that we will need in the desert tomorrow. Of course, there was also carefully prepared tea. I recommend a visit!

Such a nice store! Tarik was awesome and showed us the beautiful and authentic berber items sold in the store and shared tea with us. Would have loved to buy it all and eventually bought two beautiful carpets. Big recommendation if you’re looking for fairly priced, high quality, and authentic berber items (carpets, jewelry, etc).

It has been amazing to talk with Rashid and understand how Berber people live (or at least trying to understand it). All the carpets are beautiful. If you ever pass through Midelt stop here, it is worth the trip.

Very nice owner, the shop had a nice assortment of local carpets, jewelry and moroccan scarfs. The owner is leaned us how to tie a headscarf in berber style. He was open for a talk and is so friendly, definitely recommend stopping by for a nice souvenir or local purchase!!

Very nice shop run by really friendly folks. Outstanding selection of locally, naturally produced rugs and fabrics. We really enjoyed the opportunity to see a variety of styles and colors, and the prices are reasonable.
