Restaurant Pizzeria azizi

we had to stop for lunch and this is surprisingly one of the best places we've eaten in Morocco. The food was superb and the chef is very nice and smiling. He even gave is free tea.

Simply fabulous! Chef Azizi spent 21yrs making pizza in both Mexico and California before starting his own restaurant in Morocco. Clearly explains why this was the best pizza that we’ve had in Morocco. Above that, his hospitality is unparalleled…almost apologetic for making us wait for the pizza to bake - giving us sweet Moroccan cookies and tea while we waited. Highly recommend this as the perfect stop between Merzouga and Fes.

What a wonderful place our tour stopped to have lunch today! The staff was so gracious and the chef thanked us all, and our group took a picture with him. Morocco has been an outstanding trip so far and having a place such as this to eat makes all the difference. They served us in traditional Moroccan fashion, each dish was delicious.

Very kind people and service, a lot of choice for food, everything was really delicious. The tea is so tasty too!

A wonderful lunch stop on the way to Fes from Merzouga! The owner was very welcoming and you can tell he puts a lot of care into his food. He treated us to free appetizers and mint tea. We both ordered the shawarma that came with fries and left nothing behind. Thank you for your wonderful service!

Really Tasty food with good prices looking at the quality, also extremely clean and extremely friendly service.
Only thing negative is the time.
For freshly made it‘s a normale time 30-45 min, but when asked he said 15 min so that annoyed me a little bit.

There was a cat.

Also very good food and friendly service. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

We had terrific Moroccan tacos (yummy pitta stuffed with chicken, salad and fries), crispy pizza and a delicious burger. The owner was so friendly and offered us free dessert and tea. Our kids said it was the best meal they had in Morocco! It was certainly the friendliest. Highly recommended.

The chef/owner was just the sweetest person! We randomly found this place on google on our way to Merzouga and decided to give this a try due to the stellar reviews.
We ordered moroccan salad ( tasty), moroccan chicken ( tasty) and mixed grill ( tasty).

We had our tummies filled with good food and the owner even gave us free mint tea on the house. Really made sure that we had a great lunch!

I sincerely recommend this restaurant, it is a perfect restaurant, the owner is a wonderful and friendly person. This restaurant and its rating deserve it, I think this restaurant should be a full score! If you come to this town, you must come here! Both the food and the owner and staffs made me feel at home. If you are visiting this area, please do not miss this restaurant. This restaurant also has food suitable for vegetarians and it is very delicious!! Pizza and Pasticcio are delicious and amazing! I highly recommend it, and I look forward to checking it out again the next time I visit Morocco. I hope everything is going well❤

We have met a lot of gracious people in Morocco, but no one has been more gracious, kind and generous than Azizi! And he makes pretty darn good pizza too! We were on a one night stop over from the Todra Gorge to Fes. Not only was the pizza and salad delicious, it was beautifully presently too! (Check out my salad photo). He even offered tea and pastries while we waited for our order! Authentic thin crust pizza, great customer service, you cannot go wrong by eating here. I highly recommend!!

This is the first and probably last time I have ever written a google review. But this pizza made me do it. It is probably the best pizza I have ever had. The crust is thin and light, the sauce perfectly seasoned and not overpowering. All ingredients in perfect balance. There were two of us and it made us shut up until the entire thing was finished completely. We also ordered onion rings and he made them entirely from scratch right then and there. Afterwards he presented us tea and cookies, and you guessed it, these were also ridiculously good. The owner/cook is also very, very genuinely friendly and welcoming. If you ever stop in Medilt, you have to come and eat here. No discussion, nothing can possibly come close to this. An extraordinary find in a seemingly random town in the middle of Morocco.

Delicious food, large sizes, flavoursome and filling. They made a gluten free vegetarian meal for me that was off the menu which was really nice! The service was phenomenal, kind and friendly and we were given biscuits and tea at the end as part of the experience. The pizzas were a big hit as was the chawarma. Couldn’t recommend more!

There are not enough words to describe our experience, this is an amazing place with amazing people, along with the best food you can get. We recommend to everyone, this is a restaurant where you have to go. I wish all the best to the chef and the staff 🤗

Absolutely recommended! We where just passing by on our way from Merzouga to Fes and couldn't eat another Tajine after having it for 5days.:) Interested by the good recommendations from other tourists we thought, why not give it a try and where not disappointed. The owner is such a friendly person, always smiling while serving his guests. Was kinda rush hour when we dropped in, with lots of locals having food as we. He forgot to bring us a welcome tea and was so sorry when he remembered when we paid. As a side dish he made us some free grilled potatoes and carrots. Also the price was absolutely cheap compared to other places. As we liked his orange home made sauce so much he put us a bit of it in a take away bag. The food was delicious and good. If you have no idea where to go and you're around absolutely recommended!!

Amazing pizza and incredibly friendly staff. This was one of the few restaurants open during Ramadan, so we were very happy to be able to eat here. The staff gave us a warm welcome and the pizza was amazing! We would definitely recommend this!
