Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay

I recently stayed here for a few days and I must say, the entire experience was excellent. From the moment we arrived at the Hotel we were treated to the very best hospitality from all the staff … right up to the point of our departure. The highlight however was the Villa, which I must say, is incredible and waking up each day to the private pool was real luxury. Finally, I highly recommend the Saffron Restaurant. The entire dining experience from the Food to the service made it all very special.

Great experience. Super kind reception by Mr Omar. Beds are true king, if not bigger. Beautiful nature and amazing restaurant serving Thai food. Been coming here every year since 2020.

Update, the buggy takes forever to arrive, even though we were maybe one or two only guests during our stay in December. The chicken we ordered to our room wasn’t fresh, which isn’t something that I expected, considering that the restaurant probably didn’t have any other guests to cook for. Booked in December hoping for a good service , was disappointed by everyone except the reception

I don’t know from where exactly i should start 🤩 the architecture of this hotel blown our mind upon our arrival, at first you get a warm welcome from Omar in the Reception, an absolute smooth checkin to the Room that was very fascinating, you can feel that the HK team clearly put hard work and love what they do, also i felt in love with the breakfast and service in the restaurant, big thanks to Rachida as well, will be back for sure !

Our stay at Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay was an absolute delight. We were captivated by the resort's serene beauty and exceptional service. The luxurious villas provided the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Banyan is a true gem, offering a tranquil escape that I highly recommend.

Went for food there, by the beach. Really nice, chilled place with nice staff. Food was fresh and delicious, pricey as expected. In my opinion, the sun beds price was ridiculous, 100 USD! Other than this, all is well.

My family and I stayed at this resort for the second year in a row this July and we couldn't be more happy with the experience. The resort is beautiful--right on the Mediterranean, with lovely Moroccan architecture and a great infinity pool. The villas are top notch, beautifully designed and with their own patio and pool. And the service on all fronts was excellent. The villas were spotless and serviced twice a day, the food at the various restaurants was absolutely delicious (including an amazing breakfast buffet!), and all the staff we encountered was extremely helpful. I also need to make special mention of the spa. My kids and I booked massages and it was such a wonderful experience--best massage I've ever had. Before the massage, we spent 30 minutes relaxing in special area with a hot tub, spa pool with fountains and saunas. The resort also has a tennis court and a gym, which we used regularly, and is near several cities and towns for excursions. I would highly recommend a stay here!

By far, the most luxe option on Morocco's Mediterranean coast. The property is beautiful. We had the unique opportunity to visit during shoulder season (may) when they were getting ready for high season and you can plainly see all the work they put into the guest experience ans readying the grounds. I stayed with my husband and elderly American parents. My father is extra, to put it mildly and believes that he was a hotel quality inspector in a previous life. The staff never batted an eye at his goofy requests and even had oysters flown in one day because he wanted them and they weren't in rotation on the menu yet.

My favorite part of the experience was the spa. My husband and I had two different kinds of services but they still put us in the same room, which was nice and unusual. The bath/steam room area is amazing and we had it all to ourselves. Definitely check it out. And don't sleep on breakfast - amazing buffet spread with tons of different options every day and included in the cost of the room. Would easily costs $50+ per person at a comparable hotel in the states.

This was the first banyan tree property I've been to and they've made a fan of me for life.

My family, wife and 2 boys, came back this summer to Frideq for two weeks between end of June & early July. We had to return for another stay at this great resort. We experienced the same great service and saw improvements on amenities and activities from last summer. The privacy of the Villas at Banyan Tree are in my opinion is one of the best in Morocco. You really feel like you are at your own place. The Spa and the Thai restaurant are both a must while staying here... Make sure you make reservations. Easy to get to know the staff by name (reception, waiters, kids club, and housekeeping). Rooms were kept refreshed twice a day... it was amazing! We loved how it has gotten so comfortable for our boys to go out by themselves for breakfast as soon as they wake up... or order food by the pool on their own. When we needed things to be done or changed, everyone was accommodating including the GM. As a repeat customer, it really felt like we were home. This is definitely one of the best gems in the Mediterranean, and since I have now referred few friends and colleagues, the experiences they came back with never disappoint.

We visted the Banyan Tree twice during our stay in Morocco, once for lunch and once for dinner at the Thai restaurant in the grounds.
The setting is stunning and the views and architecture amazing.
On both occasions the food was delicious and portions large and the service was outstanding ! Without exception the staff here are friendly, polite and very attentive. nothing was too much trouble. Our star was Mohammed Redar. Thank you for looking after us.

Hidden gem - it’s a 4.5-hour drive from Casablanca but the entire place is simply magical. The food is amazing, staff is ready to help any minute and you get a private villa with private pool all to yourself. The architecture is beautiful - contemporary with Moroccan design elements. Best of all it’s at a very reasonable price for all that it has to offer.

The place is just amazing. We were looking for a place to get away from stress and relax so yes it is the perfect place. Myself and my wife enjoyed our staying there, the villas are spacious and well organized. The customer service is excellent with nothing to really complain about or mention. Aida was really attentive and great into welcoming us. All in all, the place deserves more than 5 stars. 😇😇👍🏽👍🏽

This hotel is absolutely amazing! We are thrilled by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. This hotel leaves nothing to be desired! My husband's birthday was prepared so beautifully and lovingly, as in no other hotel so far. We can absolutely recommend the Banyan Tree in Morocco and will certainly come here again.

Where do I even begin :) We cancelled our stay at Sofitel because their pool was defect and they wouldn’t compensate us - and booked Banyan Tree on the spot. Best decision ever! The entrance alone is regal, it feels like you’re entering paradise. We were greeted in a gorgeous lobby which had such a relaxing and peaceful vibe. There were some issues with the booking (they hadn’t received it yet because I had just booked) but they took care of us and offered us some refreshments.

The service at this hotel is so incredibly good and everything was taken care off. The chef came to speak to us while we were waiting and told us he would personally oversee our dietary restrictions at the restaurant (gluten free for me and organic for my mom). The villas are incredibly spacious and luxurious, the whole hotel is so beautifully designed and the staff is so attentive and respectful - this is what you expect from a 5*! I want to especially thank Rachida at the restaurant for her kindness and generosity - she took care of our every need and even went to buy sardines for my mom. Chef Omar for providing us with a lot of gluten free and organic choices - even giving us the recipe for his gluten free pizza dough :D Manager Sanaa for her kindness and actual interest in hearing constructive criticism which is the biggest proof of professionalism, the waiters,…everyone was amazing!

There were some minor issues like an ant invasion in our bathroom which they did take care off, parasols falling in the pool because of wind,…but this is nothing compared to the positive. We went in June which isn’t the high season so some things weren’t available like other restaurants, bars, evening entertainment,…I do feel that they should provide these during the whole season because guests pay a lot outside of July and august too and deserve the same activities and luxuries.

All in all one of the best hotels & best services! I definitely want to return.

Stayed w/ my family and I can say that my experience was memorable. From the bellman to management the service was exquisite. Everyone was very professional, pleasant and prompt. Our Villa was amazing, whenever we needed something, it was a phone call away. We had a decadent dinner at the Thai restaurant. I would highly recommend Tamuda Bay if service, propriety and quality are things that matter to you most. I will definitely go back when I’m in Morocco again.

Best hotel in town! Service, room, hospitality and staff all are worth 5 stars. I highly recommend this hotel and looking forward to visit the hotel again!

This place was beautiful. The staff was incredible. They took care us. I only wish the weather would have been a little bit warmer to enjoy pools. Will definitely be back.

New and beautiful resort style hotel. Very good size villas with pool and jacuzzi. The hotel has two restaurants; a Thai and a Moroccan and both are very good. Breakfast is also very good. Good views on the sea but there are no villas directly on the beach. Service is one area that deserves improvement although we stayed at low season and hotel was not running in full capacity.
