What an amazing experience. The atmosphere and mood was perfect. It is a very small location which makes for an intimate experience. We had a 6 course meal hand prepared by the award winning chef and owner, Carlo. Everyday he creates a new menu based on the ingredients he finds and his own imagination. Each course is unique and flavor. Every detail is thought out and executed to perfection. I will say, in all sincerity and honesty that this is the best meal I’ve had in my life. I added pictures but must have forgotten to snap a pick of course 5. It was a perfectly heated Brie with a crisp green on top.

While in Marrakesh we stopped for dinner at Dar Simons, the chef/owner Carlo and his team met us at the door with a warm welcome and escorted us to our already prepared tables. The ambience was quaint, modern and elegantly chic. Chef Carlo can do things with strawberries that few people in the world can do. Sone of us don’t eat fish, but dared to try it and it was amazing. He shared a bit of the history of the restaurant and the vision of impacting the city through cuisine, jobs and their lives. Simply inspiring. Recommend for anyone seeking a unique and special experience. So captivated I forgot to take pictures.

Insanely good. Best meal (and by far the most expensive) we had in Marrakech.
