Riad Kniza Marrakech

We loved our stay at Riad Kniza. From the first moment to the last the staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Anything we asked or requested they helped so much. Booked a restaurant for us and gave local advice. For my partners birthday they brought us a beautiful cake to celebrate. The location is close to one of the entrances to the old town from the main roads. The area around the Riad is very unassuming, a less touristy side of the old town but once you walk down the path to the entrance it’s all bliss. If you want to be in a more peaceful area, then maybe better to go to the new city. We’d have no hesitations to come back here again.

This is the most beautiful Riad in Marrakesh. The rooms were exquisite. We had the Royal Suite and had accommodations in different rooms for our guests. All of them were lovely. The service was 5 star. The staff is warm and accommodating. The owner Mohammad , is the consummate host. The Riad is his old family residence and he makes you feel like a guest in his home. Do not miss the opportunity to visit his private museum. Very interesting. Inside the walls of the old city, you walk out right into vibrancy of this wonderful city. We felt safe, welcomed and exhilarated! We will come back again and again.

Beautiful upscale hotel, beautiful details and decor. The staff is absolutely wonderful and so attentive and the food is beautifully served and so so good. Only point I could have is that if u have a room around the courtyard ot might be a bit noisy sometime. Would definitely recommend the experience!!!

After bikepacking and camping in Morocco for 8 days, it was really nice to stop in this amazing Riad. We were greated with a big smile, tea and cakes and very appreciative staff who probably never dealt with the bike packers before. The room, artcitectured and breakfast were amazing.
On a day of departure, staff helped with the bike boxes and arranged a nice taxi driver who drove very carefully. Amazing stay!

We absolutely loved this Riad. It was a beautiful and quiet Oasis in the bustling Medina. Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The morning breakfasts on the roof were delicious with breathtaking views and excellent service. Room was absolutely beautiful and we felt like royalty staying there. I would highly recommend the spa with the Hamman and massage as a very peaceful and unique experience. This is absolutely a five-star place that I highly recommend!

We went there to see if they could print our tickets, not only were they nice enough to do it, but we also got a tour of the place. So beautiful, the details on the walls and ceiling are amazing, they have a really peaceful rooftop from which to see the city. A hidden treasure behind a small door

We went to this Rihad to find the warmth from the people in Marrakesh and we most certainly did. The experience was wonderful, a family like feeling, with excellent service, great food and all the caring details. Please book the treatments when you arrive, thet are so relaxing and caring!!!! One of the best places I have ever stayed! The riad is beautiful and peaceful with a stunning rooftop. But the best part is the staff, so lovely and welcoming. A home away from home.

This was easily the most wonderful place I've ever stayed, full stop. From the moment we booked the hotel, the staff were incredibly helpful, from helping us to book things, to showing us around to our cars, to the beautiful breakfast. Could not recommend more!!

We just had a fabulous 6 day stay at the Riad Kniza. I was worried it may be long but it was not at all! The hotel is authentically Moroccan but has all the modern amenities.
If you don’t mind a walk, the Riad is central to many of the cities highlights- Shopping, Majorelle Gardens/ YSL museum, old city, and new city. But you do walk through the more local parts of the Medina (vs the busy city center). I usually like to stay in the city center but i think it may have been too chaotic for Marrakech.
The staff was so helpful and warm that I was so sad to leave them at the end of my stay. They helped us plan our days out and did everything to elevate our whole experience. I am so grateful to them for helping us have such a warm and magical experience.

Riad Kniza was a home away from home. The service we received was 5 star. The Riad itself was outstanding. Beautifully decorated and offering luxury. Every single member of staff was friendly and welcomed us when they saw us. Even though it was located in the busy Medina it was like stepping into another world of sanctuary. Our room was serviced twice a day, everything was spotless and in its place.
Breakfast was included with our room and it was lovely with plenty to eat; yogurt, local bread, pancakes, cake, eggs, juice, tea and coffee.
We did eat dinner at the Riad and it was the only thing that didn't meet their standards. The service was 10/10 but there was too much and the grand finale tagine was ok. I feel like if there was anything they could improve on it would be this. The souq was overwhelming and there were some evenings where we would have preferred to eat in but the menu was limited. I can't wait to visit again and hope to stay here again. I would recommend to everyone.

Loved Riad Kniza. Very zen place in the middle of the chaos of Marrakesh. The staff were extremely hospitable and helpful. We stayed there 3 nights during our time in Marrakesh. There is a pool,hamam and rooftop. We didn't eat dinner there but they have live music in the evenings for people dining there. The breakfasts were over the top abundant and delicious. If I'm being picky, the bed was a little too hard. It's very easy to get to from the Bab Doukkala gate. Highly recommend.

For an authentic luxury Moroccan accommodation experience - I can't see how you can beat this. Placed within the city walls, you are steps from the action, but this sanctuary of calm hides you from the hustle and bustle. Warm and welcoming hospitality from all staff - opulent spacious accommodation, great food. We had the Royal Suite which was adapted to include 2 beds for the kids. It was perfect. We felt like royalty. Would highly recommend. The breakfasts were an experience in themselves.

My recent stay at Riad Kniza was an absolute delight. The riad's stunning courtyard and beautiful design created a tranquil escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The staff's exceptional hospitality and attention to detail made me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. With its perfect location in the medina, I was able to easily explore the vibrant souks and attractions. The delicious Moroccan breakfast was a delightful culinary experience. This riad truly captures the essence of Morocco, offering a blissful retreat. Highly recommended for an unforgettable stay in Marrakech.

Wonderful, just wonderful! The staff, the service, the architecture were just amazing. This place is located next to a busy local street however you can taste te real culture of Marrakesh. It’s near a lot of tourist attractions. The only thing I can maybe recommend is that they can exceed their dinner menu. I also want to thank the housekeepers for doing an excellent job, they were amazing. Thank you all for making my trip even better

I had the most amazing stay at the Riad Kniza - a beautiful, quiet oasis in the heart of the busy Medina! Location is perfect, staff are wonderful and friendly and attentive and the rooms were beautifully designed. Can't wait to come back!

Riad kniza - fantastic property, immaculately cleaned every single day top to bottom. Lots of history and love poured into construction of the Riad. Breakfast was a highlight of each day - even though simple in form (eg continental breakfast), there is plenty and the local pastries were always a highlight. Staff were very lwelcoming and hospitality was excellent. If you are fortunate enough to meet the owner of the Riad, make sure to ask for a tour of his private gallery right across the alley - a really intriguing set of antiques and personal collection.

This place is so beautiful and such a pleasure to stay at. I really like the location, in the middle of it all. The breakfast on the rooftop is divine, my favourite part was the home made yoghurt and honey. I’ve no idea how I’ll live without that now! We loved sitting upstairs for sunset with a drink and a book - there is no better way to spend your time. The cleaning staff did such a fab job of looking after our room, and there was one particular waiter/porter who was really lovely - can’t remember his name but he was very tall and had a lovely smile. The owner also showed us round his gallery across the way which is absolutely worth seeing - so many beautiful treasures. Honestly couldn’t recommend this place more. Apparently they serve an amazing dinner too but we weren’t here long so didn’t have dinner in the hotel.

My husband and I had the most amazing experience at Riad Kniza for our honeymoon. The service was attentive and overall fantastic, the rooms were quiet despite being booked full (as far as we know), and everything was gorgeous. We would love to stay again it we were to come back.
