Riad Shambala Marrakech

The stay at Riad Shambala gets a 5 star for the host. Rabiaa made us feel like home and he told use everything we needed to know whenever we had questions. Breakfast on the roof was also perfect. We loved the location. It's nice to walk to the city center true the narrow streets. So we discoverd a little bit the local life. Everything in the bathroom works but a revision might be nice. It was a little bit noisy but as soon we told the host, he took care of it. So lovely stay!!

One thing to mention it is close to the main street so you can take your trips from there and carrefour and the new city

I loved everything.
Starting with the fact that i had to cancel reservation at short notice because of flight changes and they didn’t charge me for the cancellation and rebooked for the dates I wanted.
When we got there Rabi explained a lot of things about the areas, the best places to visit and even about scams.
The breakfast was very good and Rabi was very attentive.
I didn’t feel unsafe in the area, yes there’s people that sit next to riad but they don’t even speak to you, they’re just there living among them.
we could walk from the road to every place, without need to book taxis.

Myself and my friend really enjoyed our stay here. We received a warm welcome from Redouane who provided a map of Marrakesh and made suggestions about things to see. The riad is extremely clean and cosy, the traditional Moroccan decor and use of incense added to the ambience. Our room and en-suite was very clean and there was air conditioning which helped cool us down during the heat. We made the mistake of not writing ahead to let the property know that we required two beds however, Redouane offered to change our room once other guests were gone and another room was available. We were ok with sharing so didn't move but this is a great example of how accommodating he was during our stay. The breakfast was lovely each morning and it was such a pleasant experience to have it in the tranquil and relaxing common area downstairs. We spent a good bit of time between the common area and the rooftop terraces in between our trips out exploring Marrakesh and it was such a lovely added bonus to have these areas to relax in. Our trip was definitely added to with Redouane’s welcoming and friendly nature. We have been afforded with many pleasant experiences during our travels but Redouane’s kind and welcoming nature will stay with us for a long time. We feel the location was good and that the property was well worth the price. We hope to return to Marrakesh in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to stay in Riad Shambala.

If I could give it more stars I would. Our stay has been amazing. The room was clean and cosy with lovely air conditioning. The terraces are stunning! We see the riad being maintained daily by staff. Redouane is the best host we’ve ever had, lovely person who really made us feel like we were home and did everything he could to ensure we felt comfortable. The breakfast was divine and kept us full for the day during the hot walking through the city! All in all, we’re already planning our next trip here!

They totally deserve the 5 stars and 10 out of 10. After 15 days travelling around Morocco I can say that these guys are the best! They are truly nice and make sure that your stay is perfect! The breakfast is awesome as well.

The rooms could be bigger and it could be closer to the square but seriously, just because of the staff it is really worth staying with them!

Beautiful little quaint riad near Bab Doukhala. Well worth a stay, service is perfect and you will feel right at home. The riad is well decorated and furnished in a rustic and neat way. Breakfast is delicious and an experience not to be missed.

great place! Redone is a very helpful guy:) clean, hot water , all in style..would definitely stay again! the place is owned by a spainish guy so tip the guy that serves you if you can, they don't make that much!

Honestly 5stars are not enough. These guys were honestly some of the nicest people I encountered(they even escorted us when some shady guys were in the streets). The breakfast was also very good (tons and tons of fresh food) and the atmosphere was great to.

Estuvimos hospedados en el Riad del 1 al 8 de abril, toda la estancia una maravilla, la habitación muy limpia, cómoda y con todo lo necesario, el desayuno casero y completo, ubicado en la medina a unos 20 minutos de la plaza.
Quiero destacar el trato del personal del Riad, todos absolutamente todos maravillosos, nos hicieron sentir como en casa, nos ayudaron en todo, organizaron las excursiones y se preocuparon de que el servicio hubiese estado a la altura de lo que contratamos. Si alguien nos pregunta, sin duda les recomendaremos el Riad Shambala, todo un acierto. Mil gracias familia.

Tuvimos muy buena experiencia en este riad, nuestro vuelo llegó de madrugada y nos tuvieron preparada unas pizzas y unos yogures para cenar. También nos dejaron algo de cambio para empezar el día y una tarjeta sim. Nos alojamos en la habitación superior y todo muy bien, muy amplia y cómoda. El desayuno también muy bueno, hubo un día que salimos muy temprano y nos dejaron varias cosas preparadas para poder llevarnos. Sin duda destacar el trato de Rabia, su ayuda y hospitalidad en todo momento.
