Riad Gabsi Du Dades

Lovely Riad and adorable staff ! I loved the food there, they are trying really hard to please people and cook good food ! I would have loved to have a homemade Tajine but we had a more European meal. Anyway, the living room is super cozy, warm and the ambiance is charming ! Same for breakfast, delicious !
The bedroom was big and with a balcony. Could have been cleaner ! Bathroom was cool, big shower like in a spa.
We couldn’t enjoy the pool as too cold.

First time we didn’t feel scammed…

A beautiful, cozy and unique but traditional spot. Some of the best food we had on our trip and excellent service. The rooftop pool/patio has great views of the Monkey Fingers. Would highly recommend for your stay in Boumalne Dedes!

Very very nice place! Stylish rooms, brilliant 5-dish dinner, friendly staff and cute cats! There is also a nice swimming pool, went down for a crazy swim in November night :)

Highly recommend this family owned hotel and restaurant is Dades valley! We cannot recommend enough of this wonderful place! From a hospitable welcome, to the swimming pool , to the view of the mountains, to the amazing food! Everything was amazing! We would love to go visit again!

Wonderful place to stay and relax. Owner and his family create amazing atmosphere there, that you feel like home and you dont want to leave. Additionally the food... its even difficult to describe how good it is, and seems that they make everything on their own, what makes it even more valuable. Totally worth trying dinner there, I can promise you will not manage to eat everything they serve, but you will feel you want to try at least a little more, cause food is delicious.

Stayed here as part of our Merzouga Tours organized trip. Staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, wouldn't let us carry our bags, brought tea to the room, gave us food to take with us for the kids. Rooms and beds were spacious and fresh. The shower was incredible. Lovely rooftop pool, excellent dishes, nice view of the valley. Recommend. It is built on a steep hillside (hence the great views) and that means there are lots of stairs, so if you have toddlers or bad knees, keep this in mind.

I spent a week in Morocco spending a couple of nights in a few different places. All welcome us with their traditional teas and for dinner. Tinjen, except for the Gabsi Abdullah, served a 10 course meal🥰and explained what each had in it...and that soup was a hit I loved it

The room was spacious, and the dining area had a 360 view of the mountains
Only issue was the wifi connection, but was the least since I slept well that night

The best riad we stayed in on our trips. Beautiful location and views, cosy restaurant and peaceful terrace with a pool. The staff are the nicest people that will take good care of you. The food is unbelievable too. 5 course meal for dinner and homemade breakfast with plenty of options, all locally sourced high quality ingredients. You won’t miss anything in the rooms - huge beds, quiet and very dark at night. We had a great sleep too, thank you all.

My family and I stayed here and had a wonderful experience. We were only there for one night but the owner, Hassan, went out of his way to make sure it was a great one. We were given a tour through the nearby town which included a walk through a gorge that ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. We were also pleasantly surprised by the amazing quality of the meals we had during our stay. We had dinner and breakfast at the Riad and each one was a delicious experience with multiple courses. We left incredibly satisfied and happy with our stay. Thank you to everyone at Riad Gabsi Du Dades for making our time so enjoyable! We had an amazing one night stay here- from start to finish, everything was fantastic! We were greeted so warmly, and made to feel so comfortable- it truly felt like visiting family. Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a nice private outdoor space with a view of the surrounding area. The rooftop area was fantastic with an amazing pool and view of the monkey fingers. The location is great, very close to the monkey fingers, which I highly recommend you take the time to go for a hike to enjoy the beauty of this area.

As others have mentioned, the food here is amazing!! Both the dinner and breakfast we ate here were exceptional. Everything is so delicious, high quality, and homemade- the best food we had during our 2 week stay in Morocco! The food alone is worth a visit!

The service here is also top notch- everyone was so genuinely kind and warm, it made our stay so wonderful.

We booked directly through their website, their response was so prompt and helpful. I can’t recommend this riad enough, you will have a very comfortable stay, delicious food, exceptional service, all at a tremendous value! We also appreciated so much the advice we were given by Mr. Gabsi for our drive the day we left the riad, we saw some absolutely beautiful sites that we would have missed otherwise. Do yourself a favor and stay here if you are planning to be in the area- or make plans to visit this beautiful area if you’re not already!

From the moment you arrive at the hotel, Hassam welcomes you with a beautiful smile and helps you carry your luggage. Sofia welcomes you on the terrace with a delicious tea while they explain to you about the food and the areas of the hotel.
The room is super spacious. Dinner is traditional Berber food, it is in 5 courses and delicious prepared in the oven. While you eat, the hotel people are playing Berber music. It is a very pleasant moment.

The treatment was incredibly wonderful.

The rooms were nice, but the AC had trouble and I kept hitting my head on the short door into the bathroom, but I am 6 feet tall so that may be my fault. The people were fantastic and the small Moroccan town was great. The wifi at the hotel kept cutting out and barely made it to my room, but it's what I expected when I signed up for this adventure.

An amazing gem of a spot that seems by itself to make the trip to the Dades Valley worth it.

Besides the wonderfully welcoming, friendly staff that speak all the languages, the place is extremely artfuly designed and decorated. The terrace with a pool is lovely, with great views of the valley and surrounding mountains, as well as decorated very well. Having the welcome tea while sitting at this terrace next to the pool and fig tree is what you came to Morocco for.

But the MOST important thing about this place is the food. It's hard to overstate how surprisingly gourmet, unique, fresh, beautiful, and surprising this places dinner menu was. There were regular exclamations of delight from all the tables in the dining room. Well beyond 'traditional Moroccan', this was a 5 star gourmet take on fresh, Moroccan countryside fare. Best dinner we had the entire trip. Must recommend.

I've literally had the best food of my entire Moroccan trip at this Riad. I can't even begin to explain how good every single dish was, and two add to that if you really like something they'll bring out more for you. Which brings me to the other point, the people at the Riad are incredibly kind and hospitable - they'd go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable.

I only wish I had more time here. If I find myself in the area again in the future, I will definitely go back to Riad Gabsi.

Great place to stay before continuing your tour of Morocco. Hassan and his team serves great food that is different from the rest of the Riad and Dar. Excellent services from the team and definitely recommend to stay with them to complete your Morocco experience

5 stars because I can’t give 6. Excellent hospitality, feels like being with family. Very rich tipical dinner and breakfast, with everything homemade. Nice room and view. Super pool for summer. Very recommended!
