A warm greeting on arrival with mint tea and homemade macaroons. The owner was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Easy check-in and luggage was taken to our well -appointed room. A cleverly designed ramp abutting the stairs eliminates having to carry luggage. We also enjoyed the rooftop views and lounge chairs. One is also free to walkabout in the garden. The evening four course dinner was outstanding in both presentation and taste, and virtually all locally sourced. A variety of breads, jams, cheese and butter are all in-house quality products. Breakfast was notable for the numerous choices and fine coffee. Certainly the best cuisine we enjoyed in our travels in Morocco. All the staff we met went out of their way to make us feel at home. Just an all around great experience!

Truly exceptional experience! From check-in, it was a magical experience. We were greeted with tea and excellent cookies. Our room was pre-heated for us. The gardens are nice for watching the sunset. Dinner was out of this world. They even baked a birthday cake for another guest. Highly recommend stopping here for several days.

We came here spontaneaously for a little dinner and it became the finest dining experience of our trip in Morocco. The food is exquisite and Mustafa is a pleasure to interact with!

Dar Jnan Tiouira is a true oasis of hospitality on the highest level. Mustafa the owner will welcome you like an old friend and him and his family will cook up a feast for you. The food that they serve is truly divine and combines high-quality traditional ingredients with a modern and international twist. You can tell that a lot of love and passion goes into inventing and preapering the recipes. It’s worth visiting the hotel for the food alone, but it has a lot more to offer than that. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious, and decorated with great attention to detail. Mustafa is a very kind, cultured and intelligent host, and an interesting person to get to know. This is the second time I’m returning to this hotel and the only thing I regret is that I didn’t stay longer :)

Dar Jnan Tiouria is literally a magical garden, the work mostapha has put into the hotel really shows and me and my sisters felt so respected and cared for while we were there. Not only was it the most comfortable beds but also the best food we had our whole trip. We will be back.

Really unique experience in a very good way. A new hotel built in the combined old styles of a riad and a kasba. Delicious gourmet dinners and breakfasts and the nicest host ever.

One of the best places we've been in terms of hospitality, service above and beyond, food and the hotel itself. Very Unique place, excellent dinner and breakfast, and truly great service. In addition we took a hike with the owner as a guide and it was very interesting, educational and pleasant.

Wonderful place in the Dades Gorge. We went there not knowing that the hotel is closed, but the owner who lives right next to the hotel opened it for us so we had the whole building for ourselves. Very pretty, traditional room, amazing food cooked by the sisters of the owner which he called in just to make our dinner and breakfast. The food was cuisine based on Moroccan cooking, mostly home grown or local produce prepared with a modern twist, some of the dishes were even invented by the owner himself. They also organise tours to the desert or hiking trips for groups if you go there during the right season. Good place if you want to see a unique location in Morocco, meet a brilliant guy and his lovely sisters and even keep the environmental impact low, since the hotel is set up to be a "green business".

Mustafa is an exceptional host. The room was very comfortable, the food was delicious and most importantly he made us feel at home. The trips to Todra valley and Dra valley were beautiful.

This is a family run establishment. Your home away from home. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are well appointment and the views of the gorge are lovely. The reason for the five stars is the food. The dinner was some of the best food we had experienced in Morocco. All organic mostly from their own garden.

Beautiful Kasbah built by the owner. Clean and comfortable with great views up and down the Gorge. What gives it 5 stars though is the food cooked with passion by the owner and his sisters. They make it innovative and different to the food you get everywhere else in Morocco. They cater well for different dietary requirements, and are very friendly and helpful.

Mostapha and the staff were absolute gems. The rooms and space were beautiful, we
were so taken care of and the FOOD! My goodness. I will be coming again and highly recommend it.

Delicious meals served by the staff, a wonderful family of brothers and sisters.
They run a world class operation full of hospitality, wish we could’ve stayed for more than one night.
Make sure to get upstairs in the early morning to watch the sunrise over the mountain!
Breathtaking views

Excellent place, had a real fire place at the restaurant. The owner and all the staff were first class in offering service. Once you get there, you have a feel for Morocco. No television but that didn't matter. The food was just wonderful.

Mustafa(spelling?) is such a gracious host! The food is absolutely amazing, some of the best we had on our trip. The hotel is quaintly cute. A gem in the area. Highly recommend!!

Fantastic place, Mastapha and his family are lovely and the food is wonderful. Mastapha kindly arranged my transport to and from his hotel. Breakfast and dinner are included. This is a beautiful part of the world and I had a fantastic time there!

This Kasbah was absolutely amazing. The view from the terrace was beautiful and the rooms were nice as well. But the best thing were the staff. Both Mostapha and Abdullah were very kind and helpful. Abdullah guided us on a beautiful hike in the Dades Gorges and gave us a lot of local knowledge. We had an amazing dinner in the restaurant in the evening and the breakfast was very tasty as well. Would come back to this Kasbah again for sure.

Not only is this place beautiful and magical but the kindness of their employees is unique and the food is exceptional, delicate and done with love. Everything here is done with great attention to detail to make the guests feel happy. Keep it up!
