Comptoir Darna

During my visit to Comptoir Darna Marrakech in November 2023, I was captivated by the enchanting ambiance. The décor, a blend of traditional and contemporary, was a visual treat that added to the exotic charm of Marrakech. The culinary delights offered were a gastronomic adventure, with each dish showcasing the rich flavours of Moroccan cuisine.
The service was nothing short of excellent. Despite the restaurant being bustling with activity, the staff catered to my every need with utmost professionalism and warmth. The cleanliness of the establishment, even during peak hours, was commendable. This visit to Comptoir Darna Marrakech was an unforgettable experience, a true gem in the heart of Marrakech.

We were promptly seated thanks to our reservations, and the restaurant exuded a warm and cozy atmosphere, adorned with intricate Moroccan cultural details. The food was delightful, and the entertainment was a delightful surprise. Live musicians played on the steps leading to a charming second-tier bar area, while during dessert, captivating performances by belly dancers and candle dancers added to the ambiance. The service was exceptionally welcoming, making us feel right at home. I would eagerly return without hesitation.

This restaurant was recommended to us by friends in England and also by our TUI rep. All I can say is that I pass the recommendation on as it was amazing.
The cocktails were presented well and tasted delicious.
We started with little snacks and bread that they brought out. We opted for the experience menu and it didn’t disappoint. The briouate were delicious and so flavoursome. We then had a lamb and chicken tajine which again had so much flavour.
We enjoyed the show before dessert which was fantastic. I also should have mentioned the group playing as we arrived which gave a great atmosphere.
Dessert and tea just topped the evening off.
We were served by Maria and Sana who were attentive making sure we never had to pour our own drink and food was expertly served.
A memorable evening and I will return when in Marrakesh.

It's a beautiful place. The food and service were first class. Prices are more on the high end. Definitely coming back once in Morocco.

My dining experience was absolutely incredible. The live belly dance performance added a mesmerizing touch to the atmosphere, enhanced further by the captivating lighting. It's a must-visit spot for an unforgettable evening in Marrakech.

Rather luxury place if you compare to other places with food in Marrakech.
Perfect service and really marvelous design.
Food is as good as in cheap restaurants on old town. I expected something more for triple price.

We had dinner here on the first day of our time in Morocco and it set the bar so high!! My partner loved the lamb and I tried (I usually do not eat lamb at all) it was so tender and surprisingly not gamey at all. The chicken was also super flavorful.
We went for the first sitting, and the show started at 9:30pm. It was great fun and the whole place had good vibe.

Such a fun place. Atmosphere was great, belly dancers and live music intermittently. The food was also delicious. They do cram some of the tables very close together so not all of them are that comfy and can be quite loud so hard to hear a conversation. It really books up in advance, we only got space at 11pm booking a week before.

The live performance was really enjoyable, first time eating Morrocan cuisine and I was really happy with my selection. Our waiter was great too. Expect us to definitely come back.

We spend a fabulous evening at Comptoir Darna! Lush, oriental ambience, a beautiful crowd, ready to party and a splendid show. Food was pricey, but excellent, the service impeccable. Will come back soon!

Amazing! Such a magical place that meets all expectations. Food was incredible and very generous portions, atmosphere and vibe are fabulous and the service was outstanding. So attentive and well spoken and very helpful for making menu decisions! Lamb shoulder dish is exquisite!!

My second time visiting. Everything was amazing - service, food, vibe and the entertainment. It is expensive/ high end but you know this before booking. It was also our anniversary and they brought us a cake and sprinkled rose petals on us - complimentary. Very fun and kind.

We read a review and went in without a reservation, but the entertainment was over, so we skipped for that night. But took a reservation for the next day and it was worth it!

The food was very tasty, traditional Moroccan dishes. We made the reservation for the dinner and belly dance, both were very good. There were two shows one at 9 PM and another at 11Pm I think. We took a 8 PM reservation and the food is good, dancers were entertaining!! We did not wait for the 11PM show since we have to travel the next day. This restaurant was better than the one we visited the previous day.

Excellent place with superior service, cosy atmosphere and tasty food. It's a bit pricy but in my opinion worth every penny. Live music, belly dancing and shows were a lot of fun! Food was very good, especially lamb tajine. Worth of mentioning- they offer very good Moroccan wines, I was surprised by It's good quality 👌 a definitely must go but book in advance since it's pretty popular place

Amazing Moroccan atmosphere and music, I really recommend it for the belly dancing show. Food is normal, prices are high. Overall, it's worth it because you also pay for the performance.

First night in Morocco. Came here by recommendation of a friend, absolutely worth it! The food was great, the service perfect and the atmosphere with live music and dance show was a total experience!
