Taj Moroccan Food

We stumbled upon this place after going to the palace. The lamb and vegetable tagine were some of the best we've had in Morocco. The Moroccan salad starters (pictured) were so delicious and varied. Also, fabulous mint tea! Overall great find, and not too pricey! Great to sit outside people watching the busy street.

Excellent food. Price is very affordable. Highly recommend the lamb shank tagine and the kefte tagine.

Great location in the Jemaa El Fna. Comfortable outdoor seating and excellence restaurant service. The food is well priced, and excellent quality. The presentation is as beautiful as you would see in the best restaurants. Highly Recommend.

To start off the experience we had our hands washed the traditional way and then rose water, a plus in this heat.
They cooked the food to our preference. We requested extra spice and chilli in our food, it was delicious. We also got morrocan tea on the house which was a nice ending to our meal. Thank you.

Delicious food and a great atmosphere! Service was really good as well. We had the beef tajine with prunes and apricots and the chicken couscous- really hearty portions of food and the flavours were super tasty! Our friends had the lamb shank and that looked alright- giving 5 stars as we had no complaints about our meals though!

I would highly recommend this place to someone looking for Moroccan food. I spent a lot of time online, google and trip advisor to find places that were highly spoke of that the food was high quality Moroccan. There are so many restaurants in the Medina it’s hard to know where to go. We were not disappointed though and thought the place had great food and vibe. I thought the prices were also very fair

Best beef tagine with apricot and prunes I’ve had yet! Dessert was great, but I think the portion size was a bit too big (but I’m more health conscious). Overall, a great pick!

Excellent service and food, staff was very welcoming and very friendly with children! They look after you very well attending to all your needs. The decor and atmosphere was great very modern. Food was great and served quickly. Definitely reccomend.

With a greater note Hasan the owner was amazing! Kept us very welcomed and was very friendly with my nephew! We really enjoyed how we was treated and would go again!

Easily the best food we had whilst on a long weekend in Marrakech. The meat was perfectly cooked and very tasty and the vegetables were fantastic too. We had the beef couscous and the mixed kebab and it was more than enough food for two people. The service was good too and whilst the prices are a little higher than other restaurants in the area, I think it was well worth the extra money and I would happily visit again.

We had an incredible breakfast, a great start to our day. Massive portions with high quality ingredients and variety of options. Zuir was our waiter and he was really kind and professional. Beautiful restaurant with moroccan style interiors and furnitures.
Great value as well. Definitely recommend it.

Very clean tidy and friendly helpful staff, with nice uniforms. Just on the outer edge of Djmaa el fna, a great venue to people watch whilst we enjoyed our meal. The food was excellent, tasty and hot. The mixed salad was great, superb variety and refreshing.

If you would like to have a authentic Moroccan food you must try it…. The food, quality, atmosphere snd price are amazing.

We stayed in Marrakesh for 4 days and we visit this restaurant 3 times. Best food we tried and the staff is so friendly.
Normaly we try to eat in different restaurants when we travel but this place was just must come back so after disappointment on few other restaurants we visit we decided to just stick with the best we tried. Thank you to the amazing team and the wormth welcome every time we visited.
