Great example of story interpretation and interactive design and involvement to get know about Dobele castle.
Nice views from top of the castle and also interesting design of expositions. Guided tour recommended!

Beautiful to see from the outside. Well maintained runes and surrounded nature. Definitely worth visiting

Accidentally stopped here during our trip and found perfect place to recover after few hours in a car.
Castle runs are very tidy, lot of places to hide and think about majesty of castles. Nearby you can find few fountains in river Bērze and pond, also beautiful idea to show their cost of arms.

Pitty is closed on Monday and was our day there, would have loved to enter the castle. Outdoors is nice area

Amazingly restored old castle! Small, easy to access and also has a museum in it.

Nicely groomed ruins. Maybe not the most impressive historical place in the world, but at least it is preserved well and put to good use!
Was there at night and didn't get inside.

Not much to see yet, but very well preserved place. Good to visit when there is an event held there otherwise 30-60 minutes is max you can spend there.

Because i lived in that place, it's really beautiful and it's in restauration right now.. so, don't go there yet. The Castle Ruins will be done restaurating in August

Visit this place to get a glimpse of old castle "history taste". Not much such ruins left from the Livonia time.

Very iteresting, recommend to visit and have at least 2 hours. Good views to Dobele. Fountains, park etc.
