I’d describe this place as one of those special places in city where you can get really great food with rocking atmosphere 🤘🏻

The food is very good and for the price the portions are big. Definitely recommend, and atmosphere is very relaxed and nice. But if you wear sort clothes you can only take to go if you want to eat on the place you Hawe to wear normal clothes no sports clothes. And you can only pay with cash.

I'm absolutely happy to have discovered such a great place! Everytime I go to balerija it's like I'm at home, I couldn't know a better place to eat and stay rather than balerija! Balerija 🔛🔝

If coming again to Jelgava, I'll be more than sure where to go for something to eat. VERY good prices for the sizes of portions.
Also I was impressed by how good and understandable their website looks!

A cool place which feeds very well. We prefer barbecue ribs.
But never take half porcions because they are a bit less EUR (for us was 1 EUR difference) but those ar much smaller.

Went into here for something to eat food was amazing,,, and if your like Rock music you will love it here,,, if I would off knowing this place was so local I would of eating every night here,, sadly I am going back to Ireland Wednesday please god I will drop in again be for i leave

Melno Cepurisu Balerija has high reviews for a reason. They have tasty vegetarian and vegan options in a unique atmosphere. If you don't like music other than pop maybe not the best choice for you.
Vegetarian burgers are definitely recommended! The French fries portion is enormous.

This place is quite interesting. It's sort of a 2 floor bar/cafe that plays mostly rock or metal music and sometimes has live performances by local or guest bands.
The drink and food prices are pretty cheap compared to what you would usually expect at a bar, but even with lower prices they do not lose quality at all. If you are ever there, try the chicken wings, absolutely delicious. And since the music is right up my alley, it just made the experience that much better for me. Rating - A+

Absolutely brilliant. 1. Taste of grilled dishes, wok and Caesar salad is superb, even compared to the best restaurants at larger cities. 2. The size of dishes is enormous. 3. Interior 100% matches the music, both are very interesting. 4. The table football is only 50 cents for 10 balls. Inexpensive and great!

The right place to be , to eat, to drink, to enjoy your life by yourself or with friends , as well as making new friends.

Great food, always delicious and very friendly atmosphere. They have some local beer that you cannot find in the shop, so that is a great bonus. The prices for food are low, but the portions are large! You can actually be full just from one dish. The quality of the dish is not lacking at all. It is even better than some local restaurants in the same town.
You can also take the food with you free of charge.
A nice feature is that you can play board games as well while you wait for food or after.
The atmosphere is more of a casual bar for all ages, but mostly you will see young people coming in due to food pricing.

The meals are amazing, there are also unexpectedly good vegetarian options. It's also possible to attend quality concerts almost every weekend. The nicest public place where to spend time in Jelgava and to listen to alternative music.

Balerija is nice place to go! Alternative bar and also a good place to eat! Very delicious food and reasonable price! Balerija has got very good events usually on Fridays and weekends. Music bands from across the world play here and are always well visited by fans and people who want to have a good time! Everyone is nice and friendly, good service and prices for drinks! If you like rock music then you must visit Balerija.

Good prices, especially for drinks. Lots of room. Has table tennis in one corner, and a stage for live performances.
