If we are talking sea-side accommodations, this one takes the cake. Comfy bed and picturesque view will provide emotions never to be forgotten.
Staff is friendly and helpful even in the most unorthodox situations.
The ventilation does it's job splendidly and despite the breathtaking view, oxygen is not an issue.

One of the best night I ever spent! These barrels are rustics (no electricity, no water, no heating) but the view is amazing. The Cape Kolka is such a wonderful and peaceful place. It was an authentic place to stay a night.
Just make sure to bring with you warm clothes because the night is cold, even in summer.

Romantic

Шикарнейшее место для уединения с природой и размышлению о своём существовании. Фантастический вид на море. В бочках нет ни отопления, ни электричества, ни воды. Температура в бочках, такая же как и на улице, спасает очень качественный и тёплый плед. В этом вся прелесть. Био-туалет в паре метров от бочек. Пейзажи, природа, закаты и рассветы этого места завораживают и остаются в памяти навсегда.

P.S.: расстраивает только цена - 55 евр немного кусается, но ради таких впечатлении...тут 10 из 10.

Puiki vieta pailsėti max dviems dienoms. Nakvynė ant jūros kranto - tobula! Problema: nėra elektros, wc - bio toletas, dušas +3€ vienam žmogui.
Great place to rest for max two days. Overnight stay by the sea - perfect! Problem: no electricity (light, no refrigerator, you can't even charge the phone), toilet - bio toilet, shower + 3 € per person.

Il tramonto in spiaggia ti lascia senza parole , ma l'alba vista da dentro la botte ti lascia senza fiato. In più abbiamo avuto il bonus del temporale con i fulmini a illuminare la notte. Esperienza da fare!

Byłem tu kilka razy. Lubię tu wracać. Kolka to klimat nie tylko ciekawy punkt geograficzny. Ogromna część przyjeżdża na kilkanaście chwil, zalicza przylądek i zaraz wyjeżdża. Prawda, że nie ma tu wielu atrakcji, mnie to miejsce odpowiada. Polecam na krótkie zwiedzenie bez pośpiechu.
