Well, the sign on the road that drew us in said ‘beach cafe’ that’s undersell if I ever saw it. This is a little gem.

First don’t be afraid, the cafe is on the campsite. Go through the barrier (you swap the token at the bar). The place is spotless and looks fab for camping. Food in the cafe was great as were the drinks.

We had a wander down to the beach first then ate after.

I saw some comments about the staff being rude, rubbish - they were all full of smiles, very kind and helpful.

It’s really one to put on the list. Beach is a mere 80 meters away from cafe. My rating for cafe 9.2/10

I love this camping. Poor WiFi, not always clean toilets and showers, most likely cold water in the shower, but still great experience for having rest near the sea. Restaurant in the camping is great, simple, but very delicious food and good prices. I believe this is not for everyone, but I love the place.

Very nice. We were bike camping and even though it's a relatively big operation did not feel crowded in by campers etc - lot of the campground is in the woods, which was very nice. Facilities were excellent and well maintained. The attached restaurant was very good.

Best camping ground we ever visited. Beach is near, electricity, showers, WC's, restaurant, kids playground. You could stay there for a month if you wanted to.

Nice place to keep dinner or stay for a longer time with coming by your camper and enjoy a whole beach for you alone.

Great camping! Very clean bathrooms with hot water in the showers, a lot of tent spots, possibility to charge the phone, nice and English speaking Staff and really tasty food in the restaurant! And beautiful beach is just around the corner :)
One bad thing - no public kitchen to boil water.

easy arrive. With tent you can arrive 24/7 just take a coint barrier and after will pay in reception :)
allow make barbecue near the tent.

Very beautiful place, nice for families with children - a lot of outdoor activities in playgrounds and very close seaside. The food is really tasty, prices - very reasonable, portions - generous, the staff - very friendly and the service - truly welcoming. Live music in some days. Super-clean and nice outdoor wc's. The camping site includes possibilities for organizing picnics in picnic places and use of sauna as well as staying overnight in tent places or the guest house.

Location just 44 kilometers after crossing Lithuania border on the shore of the baltic sea
You will get nice beach clear surface for tent or its good location camping with camper for additional price you can find electricity
Toilets showers are included in price if you are coming and dont want make your own food no problem restaurant works till 10 pm go and enjoy good for families friends or just a couples

love this place and we will come back again 🙂 shower and toilets are clean and nice design, big kids playground, there are small animals, such like rabbits and chikens, very close to the sea, food at the restorant very tasty. Price is normal for such a good place.

This camping is quite big. Lots of people during weekends, but quiet during working days. It has good toilets and showers with warm water. There's also a cafe. Beach is quite near. With one tent and one car we paid 6 euros per person a day. Shop is 10minutes by car away from this place.

Wonderful place on a beautiful Baltic coast just 10km from Liepāja. Beach is just 100m away. Guest houses, place for tents, campers.
There is nice restaurant, home-style cuisine. A lot of people come here just for dinner.
Big playing yard for kids. Mini-zoo. Some other entertainment for kids and adults like segway.
There is also sauna and "kubla".
Really friendly staff.

What a great service and food are in a great restaurant "Siena šķūnis located in Vērbeļnieki! We have been there on Monday twice. But...Internet connection was poor and there was no beers from the tap. The rest was simply perfect. People from Liepaja love this restaurant. Portions are huge and very much in Latvian taste. Cheesecake was better then in UK! I remembered childhood and was ready to lick my plate after finishing their tasty food. But I used fork instead. Honestly! Our lunch and dinner in a little personal hut were unforgettable and observed with big interest by local beautiful cat.

Great place to visit with family, good food and good entertainment for children of all ages.

Really nice camping right at the sea site. Good service. Fresh and clean facilities. A lot of places to put a tent. You should taste cafe.

Nice place, good food, but high prices.

Awesome and safe campsite, decorated with latvian fairytale and mythological signs on trees, has mini Zoo, restaurant, children playground, clean and separate WCs and showers with hot water, yard kitchens, apartments, tent and caravan areas. Decorated paths lead to the nearby Baltic sea. One of the best options seen on Baltic coast. Very well!
